Hamburger and Zweigles garbage plate.

Pictures do not lie! Rotten tomatoes, lettuce, burnt home fries and lord knows what else they did with this food! This location should be ashamed that employees are serving customers bad food! For $16 I'm expecting something decent instead I literally received trash just like the name! This location is going downhill fast!

If you are an assassin and you are contracted to take someone down here, it's Kill Gray's. If the person who hired you will inherit lots of money, then it's "Will (and Testament) Gray's." If you watch a sitcom just before you do the deed, then it's "Will (and Grace) Gray's." And if your shot misses, and you get arrested, and the person lives long and prospers and is still at the restaurant even as we speak, then it's "Still Gray's." This is one of the busiest Bill Gray's I have ever been to. I've now been here 3 times total. Once was awhile back and was just for custard. Once was a few weeks ago and I had a World's Greatest Cheeseburger as usual (which was good, but not the best one I've had from a BG), and some custard, and then the third time was just 5 days ago. The employees here are "medium." In a hurry, a little brisk, but still friendly enough. They score between a 3 and 4. The food is between a 4 and 5. So it averages out to a 4. I'd come back to this location mainly for the custard. I prefer the food at Bill Gray's Henrietta and Bill Gray's Penfield, not to mention the service at both of those locations is excellent. However there is nothing too awful about this Bill Gray's so it scores a solid 4. It's a decent place to come and get your Fill, Gray's.

White hot plate with mac salad , home fries and hot sauce! Yummmmm.....

I love me some Bill Gray's! Their garbage plates are solid and pretty consistent every time. I like the white hots with mac salad and home fries and extra hot sauce. I've tried garbage plates elsewhere and a lot of places i find the hot sauce falls flat and is bland but not here. I like the spiciness and the heat. Lots of flavor, not overpowering. They also have a coupon on their website for two cheeseburgers and an order of fries for 9.99 ....you can't beat that. They have an excellent Burger. It's well seasoned and juicy. I think some of their prices are a little high or a might give them 5 stars but if you're looking for an excellent garbage plate can't go wrong here especially on Tuesday's when they are 6.99!

Garbage Plate Burger

Yummm. I love Bill Grays in general. I've never had a bad experience at this location. So when I heard there was a new garbage plate burger there was no question I had to try it. Verdict: I often wondered what heaven might be like ..if there is one and such..will there be food there? Well my friends..it exist...and it is this burger. If any of you have ever seen half baked when Thurgood gets that block of marijuana for that scientist for the first time..his reaction...yea that was me lol

Bill Gray's quality right here. Who packs delivery on a plate?

Of course, Monday nights are always difficult with so many restaurants closed but my wife used Yelp to see what was open nearby. Cristo's popped up. We weren't familiar with the restaurant (my sister in law indicated that a pizza restaurant had been in this location several years prior with good pizza but a bad attitude) but what the heck, we thought we would give it a try. Well, I can't say enough nice things about Cristo's. We thought we were going for pizza, what we ended up with was some of the best homemade pasta (almost all is homemade), gnocchi, and a wonderful chicken parm that was to die for. Loved the marinara sauce - clearly everything was homemade (including the bread). Pleasant environment. Not loud, well laid out. Good selection of wines (too bad that we learned afterwards that there was no corkage fee on Mondays). Just a wonderful little restaurant with great service, superior food, and well-priced. Can't emphasize the latter enough with today's inflation. And the choices on the menu if you don't like pasta are also intriguing. Nightly steak choices (the filet mignon on a Monday night sounded wonderful but I just had to try the pasta). Wish we had something on the east side like this!

For my main course I ordered the rigatoni bolognese which was fantastic. The sauce was a lighter version of a traditional bolognese, but still packed with flavor. The only thing that kept me from giving this establishment 5 stars was the martini I ordered. It was served in a cosmo glass but was filled about 1/3. Because the glass is cone shaped, the volume was certainly less than 1/4. The bar tender needs to up their game and learn how to serve a martini. Charging $16.50,for what amounted to a short shot, is almost criminal. I would definitely go back. But next time, I'm ordering a bottle of wine in lieu of a cocktail.

A Hidden Gem in Spencerport: An Unexpectedly Perfect Evening…read more We took a chance tonight. Based on a murmur from a friend of a friend, we drove to a small, unassuming strip in Spencerport, doubts quietly humming in the back of our minds. The exterior gave little away--no flashy signs, no grand windows. Just a simple door. We almost wondered if we had the right place. Walking in, our first thought was, "It's so small." Cozy, intimate, but not what you'd expect for a meal that promised such caliber. How quickly those doubts began to dissolve. We were seated, and almost immediately, we were wrapped in a kind of service I've only read about. The staff moved with a graceful, shadow-like precision--attentive without being intrusive, present without hovering. It felt less like being served and more like being gently cared for. A butler in a fine home, if that home also smelled of incredible things. Then came the bread. It sounds simple, I know. But this... this was to die for. Warm, crusty, soft inside--a promise of what was to come. For a starter, we ventured out: Korean octopus skewers. Now, octopus isn't everyone's cup of tea, and I'll admit, I hesitated. The flavors described seemed like a bold gamble. The first bite was a revelation. An absolute explosion--savory, slightly sweet, charred perfection, and tender in a way that made me question every poorly cooked piece of seafood I'd ever had. I was so, so wrong to doubt. The main course was duck. I've tried duck in so many places, chasing that elusive combination of meltingly tender, flavorful meat. It's so easy to get wrong. Here, the chef was spot on. It arrived looking like a masterpiece and tasted even better. Each forkful practically dissolved, rich and perfect without a hint of gaminess. I think we ate in near silence, just exchanging wide-eyed looks. Somehow, we found room for dessert: a vanilla crème brûlée. Another classic that so many places fumble. The tap-tap of my spoon breaking through that flawless sugar crust was deeply satisfying. It shattered into a perfect sheet, giving way to the silkiest, most fragrant vanilla custard beneath. I genuinely mourned the last spoonful. This place is a true hidden gem. It's not about pretense or a trendy location. It's about profound skill, executed with quiet confidence and served with genuine warmth. We arrived as cautious skeptics and left feeling like we'd been let in on a beautiful, delicious secret. If you get the chance, give it a try. You won't be disappointed. We certainly weren't. We're already figuring out when we can go back.

The service was professional and attentive without being overbearing. Each dish was presented beautifully and had the taste to match. I was pleased to see some dishes that are hard to come by in the area like lamb, various fish, and mussels. I would definitely recommend. Bathroom is accessible and spacious but there are two doors that lead to the single restroom which sits in a tight enclave, which seemed like it may be a challenge for a wheelchair user.

The server was friendly. The bad: they were woefully understaffed. It seems like there was one server for the entire restaurant including two large parties. Ours was one of those parties. Our reservation was at 6:15. We were seated quickly but did not see a server for at least 30 minutes after. It took at least another 30 minutes to get half of our drinks, another 15 to get the other half, and another 30 to get appetizers. When our main dishes came out, some were not very hot, the crab fried rice was missing crab, but the rest of the dishes were good. After appetizers, dinner and dessert we left the restaurant about 2.5 hours after arriving. I'd try this restaurant again because the food and drinks were good but it's probably best to go with a smaller party.
