Tasty, quick service, we really enjoyed the outside eating area and that the hostess spot can be considered "serve yourself" for to go bags etc.

The Q for 2

The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was ok. We got the "Q for Two". It came with ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken with 2 sides, beans, Mac n cheese. We got 2 extra sides mashed potatoes and coleslaw. All the meat was dry which was disappointing, except the chicken. That was very tender. The beans and the mashed potatoes were good. The Mac n cheese was ok. The coleslaw was not good. It was a little rancid. The corn bread and apples was good.

"Blackened chicken salad"

Very disappointed! 58 main used to have excellent salads with REAL grilled chicken. Now, they are serving the salads with processed chicken pieces. Disgusting! 18 dollars for a salad. I ordered a grilled blackened chicken salad and got this....also didn't have egg like it was supposed to. Disappointed.

On a visit home for the holidays, my dad decided he wanted some smoked meat/bbq and suggested we take a trip to this locally owned restaurant in the village of my college town for lunch. The place has a local "townie" vibe and had heard him speak highly of their food before so I knew it would be hard to choose between the pork bbq or the brisket and was happy that I had the chance to sample both! Sadly, I don't recall the name of the meal as it was listed on the menu, but it came with two sliders, a bbq and brisket slider, two sides of my choice, corn bread and some cinnamon apples. Let me say that the portion sizes were very very generous! I really enjoyed their the bbq sauce and the slider rolls. I very much preferred the brisket over the pork bbq. I ordered Mac and cheese and broccoli as my sides. I was not impressed with the Mac and cheese and the steamed broccoli was fine. I was soooo full after the sliders and a few bites of each of the sides that I brought home most of the sides. I did take a bite of the corn bread which was good and I didn't even taste the apples! Our server was ok, I was a bit disappointed bc she never capped off our waters. I'm going to give an overall experience of 3 stars-pretty average in my opinion.

My friend, Peggy, and I are under some of those kitchy signs!

I met a good friend there for dinner and it was at first not alot of people there but by 6pm the place filled up quickly. It's your typical barbecue/ bar restaurant. Lots of wood paneling and kitchy alcohol based items on the wall. It's really clean and the atmosphere is a happy vibe. My friend had the Pumpkin White Russian which she said was very delicious. Her meal was the Pulled Pork sandwich with Coleslaw and Mac and Cheese. I had the delicious Brisket Shepards Pie. I had never heard of using Brisket before but the Brisket was so tender and was seasoned very well with vegetables, mashed potatoes and a nice cheese on top. I also ordered the Crab Cake sandwich with sweet potato fries for take away. My husband said the sandwich was just OK. He felt it lacked seasoning. Overall, the waitstaff is very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for their barbecue!!

Another great meal at 58 Main. The corn bread is always fresh and just falls apart. I love the homemade Mac and cheese. Creamy comfort food. Our waitress was great and friendly

Where do I start ? I went out with my daughter for dinner and it was the dinner from hell!!! Fisrt of all the waitress was rude, she was not friendly. She was rushing us. We ordered appetizers and she placed the appetizers on top of the menus, , them she made a comment saying the menus were not table matts. I asked to speak with a supervisor after she told me i couldn't smoke next to the smoking ashtray that they have in the entrance The waitress said it was only for the owners/employees. To my surprise she was the manager. Our food was ready after 2 hours and everything was burned (personally I think thry did it on purpose) the Strawberry martini was good BUT the service was horrible. I don't recommend this restaurant at all!!

Side salad - i love when a salad is an option for a side!

It feels like it's important to say that there wasn't anything that was bad. The food was all fairly generic tasting and needed salt. Even the drinks (tea, lemonade) weren't good. Also, I encourage all barbecue places to put their house sauce on the side rather than putting it on things. Sometimes it does not help. I would go back for the wings, which were smoked and the highlight of the meal. I'd also probably go back to try a burger and several of the other interesting looking items on the appetizer menu. The appetizer we wanted to try was "ended for the season." :( Our service was fine and honestly I think people are still adjusting to not having the usual stuff already on the table. But it always rubs me a little bit the wrong way when 1) servers pass you standing at the door and say nothing and 2) they smooth the check onto the table without asking if you want dessert. Because, I almost always want dessert. It was all just underwhelming. So, not bad. Not recommending randomly but would recommend the bar. Would give another shot in a pinch.

I wanted to give a 3 but my friends suggested a 4 star rating. The BBQ was good, no doubt but the corn bread was not very good, mushy and blend. We ordered the beef brisket which was very well prepared and my friends had 1/2 rack pork. The bbq sauce is tasty and not overwhelming the meat. On the down side, the French fries are a bit undercooked, the Cajun corn are everything but Cajun, it's salty with a bunch a spice that they throw in there calling it Cajun. The music outside was really cool, this dude played a lot famous songs with his own take on the music. Very cool The flies outside are a serious issue. Haha.

This was a cute tucked away place with decent parking on the water. There were not a lot of people so parking was adequate. It is very open and immediately I enjoyed the ambience. It had a modern cabin in the lake vibe, sans fireplace, with a good laid back music that was loud enough to enjoy but not a conversation crusher. It was too cold to sit outside so I didn't get to enjoy that. The beer had quite the variety including sours, ales, porters, and IPA. They tried some bold flavors and overall I didn't dislike anything, the chocolate cake porter and beard full of sprinkles top 2. Bartender was very friendly and not in your face. My reason for not 5 star was the menu. I didn't try the food to be honest. It was very basic fried pub food which looked decent, but I've started to appreciate the breweries who really crush the food aspect with local flavors or food variety. Speaking of local though the incorporation of abbots custard into their beer made me enjoy their cream ale (not a fan of cream ales in general)

It gave them more deck and indoor space as well as a spot for boats to dock as they motor down the canal. This review doesn't include the food. We stopped here just for a couple of drinks with our God son and his wife up from NC . We each had a couple of beers and everyone seemed very satisfied with their choices. We sat out on the deck which runs along the canal. It has ample room and contains several tables that accommodate seating for four. Nice atmosphere sitting there watching the boat traffic go by and the main street bridge go up and down. They have several tables inside if the weather isn't cooperating to sit outside. Our server was friendly and made sure we were properly taken care of. The menu looked interesting therefore we will come back and try having a lunch or dinner in the future.

If you're looking for the quintessential sports bar experience, Tully's hits the nail on the head…read more In a smaller town setting, it's more than just a place to grab a beer; it's the local heartbeat, especially on game days. The atmosphere is high-energy, packed with screens, and carries that welcoming, "everyone's a regular" vibe that chain restaurants in big cities usually fail to replicate. The Menu: Something for Everyone One of Tully's biggest strengths is its massive variety. Whether you're with a group of picky eaters or a crowd with wildly different cravings, the menu is built for it. They cover the full spectrum of comfort food--from hearty burgers and fresh salads to pastas and steaks. The drink list is equally robust, offering everything from ice-cold domestic drafts to creative cocktails that pair perfectly with a loud afternoon of football. The Stars of the Show: Asian Chicken Tenders You can't talk about Tully's without mentioning the tenders. While they are famous for their original recipe, the custom Asian chicken tenders are a total game-changer. They strike that elusive balance of a crispy, hand-breaded exterior tossed in a sauce that delivers a sophisticated sweet-and-spicy kick. It's a flavor profile that keeps you coming back for "just one more" until the basket is empty. Don't Skip Dessert While many sports bars treat dessert as an afterthought, Tully's treats it like a main event. They are legendary for two specific treats: * Homemade Cheesecake: It's rich, creamy, and clearly made in-house with a level of density you usually only find in high-end bakeries. * Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie: This is a decadent masterpiece. It's the perfect end for anyone who loves that classic salty-sweet combo, featuring a silky texture that melts instantly. The Verdict: Tully's proves that you don't need to be in a major metro area to find top-tier bar food. With its massive portions, "Best in Show" tenders, and a dessert menu that rivals a pastry shop, it remains the gold standard for small-town sports dining. Would you like me to help you find the closest Tully's location or look up their current seasonal drink specials?

There are literally dozens of TV's all around. The barmaid was friendly and brought some popcorn. I ordered a 22 oz. glass of Tully's pilsener which was only $5.50! The beer was good. I had heard that their chicken tenders are their go-to item, so that's what I chose, and I was not disappointed. There was a choice of dipping sauce and I went with their standard honey mustard, which I enjoyed. I can recommend Tully's as a good place to come to watch a game.

We wanted to treat ourselves and orders the prime rib and the rib eye. Although the mashed potatoes were good, we were rather disappointed in the bland vegetables. They were truly a side dish, not given much thought or effort. Unfortunately the main event, the prime rib and rib eye were not seasoned at all (thankfully I thought ahead for the request of double onion and mushrooms). After trimming the excess fat from the end of the rib eye, the main portion was a good cut, well marbled and I was able to take it home, chop it up and season it for a yummy breakfast steak wrap for my husband. Honestly, we struggled to give the meal a 3 or 4 because the base skills were there and the server was so polite. It was a satisfying meal, but not one we would crave.
