Just picked up my 26' GMC Canyon from Bill DeLuca GMC in Haverhill Ma. This had to be the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever had. 95% of this deal was handled via text messages and a couple of phone calls. My sales professional Donnie Ethier was the easiest person to work with, he listened to what I was looking for and got to work finding the exact vehicle for me .He had the truck transferred to the dealership in Just a couple of days. Once vehicle was on site final numbers were agreed upon again without me having to actually go to the dealership and sit for hours i don't believe i ever waited more than five minutes for a response to a text or a return phone call. There was no "let me check with my sales manager" garbage or any attempt to sell me extended warrant paint protection etc. when we agreed on a pickup date and time, I went to the dealership. The truck was ready, signed the paperwork, and got a very detailed explanation and demonstration of the vehicle operation. I was on the rode home in less then 90 minutes. I went to Bill Delucas today for an oil change. i decided to have them check my brakes to see if they needed to be changed. They took a look at it and said I needed pads and rotors. I said ok thanks I'll let you know when I want them done. When the checked my brakes they put the front right caliper on and twisted the brake line cause it to pinch and seize the brake. I called back , Manager denied that they even touched the brakes. I bought six cars and trucks from them for past 25 years. The service used to be good. I made an appointment online with Bill Deluca Chevrolet for Saturday May 24 at 10:30 AM to test drive the Blazer EV RS that was showing in stock. At the time we were looking at 3 small SUV's from 3 different manufacturers. I wanted to look at the Blazer EV as the replacement to the ICE Blazer - which had been discussed as the SUV that had a similar cabin to the Camaro (which I ordered and purchased from Bill Deluca in 2010). My wife arrived and met with one of your salespersons. The salesperson had to find the vehicle and drive it to the side entrance (which had construction plates on it). The Blazer was white and was extremely dirty both out and inside (the back gate showed dirt and grime on the inside of the door and the front cabin was disgusting). When we got into the cabin, we were told it was not charged (showing 5% remaining battery available). Due to the lack of battery availability, we drive around the hotel and back (the salesperson was worried it may not make it back). After sitting with him, we let him know we were also looking at the Ford Mach E and the Toyota Crown. When I was booking the appointment online, a pop out displayed there was also a $50 offer for an Amazon card for a test drive. I filled out the information before we arrived and gave it to the salesperson. The salesperson was not aware of what to do with this and went to the office, when he came back, he said the office was closed, taped the form to his desk, and said he would follow up on Tuesday (Monday was Memorial Day). Since then we dealt with 2 people (including the Customer Care Manager), and have not heard back from them in over 3 weeks. The issues I have are: We made an appointment to test drive a vehicle and it was not remotely available to test drive (5% battery available). I had never driven an EV vehicle and was interested in its driving experience. In prior years you could see the various models at the New England Auto Show. The vehicle was also dirty in areas that are not normally are open to the elements. The lack of knowledge of the promotion by one of the salespersons. Not following through an advertised promotion. Shoddy, careless work at professional prices! Chevy EQ needed drivetrain work that was covered under a GM parts warranty. While it was there, they found several other issues (like dealerships do). I approved about $3k in repairs, which included two optional items I wanted: replace the battery and spark plugs. When I got the car back, it made a horrible noise underneath. Took it back. The Tech rode with me and heard it. He knew what it was immediately. He took it in and fixed the noise. The Serv. Rep. said he forgot to bolt something on and it was rubbing against the driveshaft. Yikes! Two months later, I'm checking my oil and I see that they forgot to bolt on the front of the battery bracket! I saw scratches around the hole where he attempted but must've given up. No biggie, I have those bolts in my garage. I went to put one in and I saw that they had broken a bolt inside the hole. Ok, I see now. Again, no big deal, the battery is stable so I'll just DIY it. Several trim fasteners were also missing around the cowl. I had some of those so I put them on. Now, five months later, I'm investigating a possible vac leak for an unrelated issue. I take the plastic cover off of the top of the engine and I see more bolts missing!!! This is on a molded foam support with a plastic case on the side of the engine that covers some critical lines. The tab at the top has been broken off and the bolt to hold the bottom was missing! Because of this, the case has been bouncing around and rubbing against a coolant hose and ate into it a bit. If I had not happened to look down there, it would have cut the hose and left my family stranded. I fixed all of this myself too. If I didn't have some mechanical experience, I would be cooked. They should tell their Techs: If you have extra bolts after a job, you did something wrong. Never going there for repairs again. read more

To sum up my experience with this Dealership in one word: Disgraceful. In two words?? Blatant incompetence. tl;dr: I purchased a brand new HD truck. Brought it back for routine maintenance. The service center broke an axle on one day and the front differential on another. They still have not repaired the truck and we are in week 3 of this experience. Entire story: I purchased a 2023 Chevy 2500 Duramax High Country in October and barely drove 2000 miles before bringing this in for service. I had a mechanic outside of the dealer put the truck up on a lift to apply an oil undercoating and he noticed that one of the axle seals was potentially leaking. He recommended bringing it back to the dealership to have them take a look before proceeding. I took his report and pictures back to the dealer on December 4. They said it could be a one day job. The part was delayed on Monday and again on Tuesday. I told them I have travel plans and need the vehicle back on Thursday at the latest otherwise I would need to know in advance in order to make other arrangements. On Wednesday they ran long on another job. These things happen. On the phone, they assured me the truck would be ready for pickup Thursday morning. I arrived at 10:45 AM and the truck was still on the lift. I was informed that they stripped a bolt on the axle rendering it useless. They need to replace the axle. The axle is on its way but the bolts are coming separately and they don't know when they'll arrive. Sales was the only helpful department here as they did provide me with another vehicle. I take my trip and return. On Monday, December 11, I received the first call from the Sales team. They cracked the front differential. "We have all the parts here so we can take care of it this week", they say. On Tuesday they call to let me know the parts are arriving on Thursday or Friday of that week. What is happening?! I have been extremely patient throughout this experience but this is becoming a bit much. I decided to get Chevrolet of America involved and file a report. On Friday, December 15, I received a call from the rep at Chevrolet of America to inform me that she spoke with the dealership and they have all the parts and expect to have the job completed today. I reached out to the dealership. They tell me they have all the parts but are waiting on a gasket. "So you... don't have all the parts then?", I ask. "No we don't. It could be here today, or Saturday, or Monday." On Monday I reach out to the dealership but no one is available to take a call. After about 10 attempts throughout the day I give up. On Tuesday morning they inform me that they are waiting on a couple of seals and they have no ETA as to when they might be there. I request to have my truck transferred to another facility and start that process. This has been the most casual display of blatant incompetence and disorganization I have ever experienced when making a purchase of any vehicle and what should have been routine service. Aside from a courtesy vehicle the sales team loaned me, they have offered absolutely nothing in return for the stress, scheduling changes, potential long-term damage to the truck and lack of a truck I am actively paying for in exchange for their worthless effort to repair a faulty seal. I have zero confidence that they have completed any of the repairs correctly and now will be bringing my business elsewhere permanently. Buyer beware. read more

Worst dealership to deal with. Very shady. Rude and disrespectful owner. Here is my story: There was a GMC truck that I was interested to purchase on their website. The truck was shown as "in transit". So I called the dealership to see if it's available. Sales rep Mike spoke with me, confirming that the truck is available. He said that to purchase it I need to stop by the dealership and see Oman (GMC manager) to start the process. So, knowing the scarcity situation with trucks, the next day I grab my two little kids and head to the dealership first thing in the morning. Just to find out from Oman that they cannot sell me the vehicle that is still in transit. He said that he would talk to the owner and let me know if it's possible. The next 7 days I never heard from him, I called several times, left messages - nothing. Today I called again and spoke with the owner Bill. He was rude and impatient. Kept asking me why I'm calling if I don't want to purchase the vehicle. I was misinformed over the phone, lost 2 hours of my life to drive to this place for nothing and then listen to rude owner's yelling on the phone. Unbelievable way to treat your customers. 4 other dealerships I called had absolutely no problem selling a truck that is still in transit. Which I happily did at Banks GMS (Concord, NH). By the way they have the lowest doc fee less than $200. I recommend to stay away from these shady people at Bill Deluca dealership. The owner is rude and practice false advertisement. Salesperson advised us we would not be able to purchase the vehicle unless we financed with the dealership. Since we had our own financing pre approve already at a significantly lower rate, we did not want to finance with the dealership. While they didn't have a truck that met my needs, Kyle Lopez, the sales manager, took the time to sit with me and educate me on how to navigate a tough used car market. He showed me how to understand the different package configurations to be sure what I bought was what I wanted, all while knowing I wasn't buying a truck from him. I came in for a Tahoe knowing the issues they usually have, I took it for a test drive, was fine, they wouldn't let me finance through my bank so I had to finance through them with an outrageous rate (& I have great credit) As I was signing, I told the the finance person up and down that I know the issues these usually have, and I want bumper to bumper warranty, I paid $3600. I wanted the list of everything done to it/wrong with it, They took their time getting that to me. After I purchase it, the transmission goes in less than a month. Had to have it towed, took over two weeks of horrible communication between them and the warranty company , then I find out that they checked off the BASIC warranty when I paid for the BUMPER TO BUMPER like I stated I wanted. The transmission was covered, but now if anything electrical electrical happens (which it is right now with the steps and tailgate) its not covered. I have called over 3x with no answers or calls back about my warranty that I paid for. The air conditioning was also $1200 to fix which also would have been covered with the bumper to bumper I PAID FOR. Nothing but issues since I bought it. Do not shop here! read more

PRICE GOUGING AT DELUCA AUTO "service". We brought our car in for a simple repair that required attaching 3 screws and 1 electrical connector. WE PROVIDED THE REPLACEMENT PART AND HAD PREVIOUSLY REMOVED THE DEFECTIVE PART. We were shocked to find out that we were being charged for what appeared to be 3 hours of labor. The service advisor on duty was unable to provide a reasonable or rational explanation of the exorbitant charges. I was contacted by a Service Manager who attempted to explain the charges by overstating the complexity of the repair. I BROUGHT THE CAR TO DELUCA BECAUSE THEY ARE ALLEGEDLY EXPERIENCED AND THEREFORE CAPABLE IN SIMPLE CAR REPAIRS. He conceded to a MINOR price adjustment that brought it from insanely overpriced to ridiculously overpriced. DELUCA DID NOT PROVIDE AN ITEMIZED LIST OF CHARGES ON THE SERVICE INVOICE. Only the final cost. I have since completed at least 4 Customer (DIS)Satisfaction Surveys from both GM and DeLuca. Here for my next oil change. So easy to make an appointment. I can do it through my Chevy app but decided to call to make my appointment. The service staff is always friendly. For the past few appointments I've dealt with Ray Clarke in Chevy service. He is always upbeat and friendly, very easy to talk to. Answers all the questions I have. I wait for my car. They took it right away to be serviced. The waiting room is comfortable, tv, cushy chairs, coffee if you'd like it. I brought my car in to have a diagnostic test ran because my check engine light was on and they kept my car for 2 days and never contacted me. I had to call them to check on the status the following day and they hadn't even looked at my car. When I went to pick up my car (because I'm not having them work on it) the paperwork wasn't ready and when the service guy was talking to me about the issue he was speaking to me like I was an idiot and didn't know anything about cars. He even started one of his comments to me with "this may sound sexist but it's not". I don't appreciate being treated like I am an idiot. I Went to get a sticker this year at a local business in my town and they failed me due to all four ball joints were gone. I went back to deluca for a second opinion and the service team was amazing. They used a measuring tool on my ball joints and found that they were perfectly fine and gave me a new sticker. Went in to look at a specific vehicle I saw on their website and the vehicle was misrepresented. Photos where not of same vehicle and they didn't even have the truck that was in the photos on the lot (they where NOT stock photos) The salesman was nice but seemed new to the business (showed me trucks out of my price range) the sales managers never even introduced themselves when we where trying to negotiate and for not really moving on the price of the one that I did like, they kept me waiting a really long time (my 2.5 year old and I where there for over 4 hours) The only reason I am giving two stars is because the salesman was pleasant and the internet sales woman I dealt with was helpful for what she could do. read more

This dealership was nothing shy of disappointing from the get go. Very little willingness to negotiate, rude and dismissive personnel, and extreme low-balling on trade. I chose to overlook as much of this as I could, because I really wanted this specific vehicle. My salesman was nice, though he should have been better informed by management about policies and procedures, especially for out of state buyers. After sitting down with the finance guy, who was blatantly disrespectful and couldn't seem to be bothered, I signed all my paperwork only to find out they would be holding the car until my loan was funded. He explained the finance company I used took a couple days to process, yet he neglected to tell ME that until after I had completed all the forms and could no longer back out of the deal. I was livid and my suspicion of this dealership being sneaky was solidified. Fast forward 6 days and I finally get my car. It's important to know that I called the financing company myself to ensure it would be funded asap, and was notified the transfer of funds had been executed early Friday afternoon. Apparently the finance guy was "too busy" to follow through, so I had to wait through the weekend until he was "back in the office" to give me the title to the car. Just one obstacle after the next and more roadblocks than were worth it. In the end, I got the car and can only hope it is everything they claimed it to be, though I sadly won't be surprised if they "selectively told me the truth" about that either. Thank goodness for lemon laws. In conclusion, I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, friend or foe. There are way too many choices out there to be treated rudely and as though you're an inconvenience. The only reason there's one star is the sweet gentleman who finally gave me the keys to my car and helped me on my way. Needless to say, neither the salesman nor the finance guy were there when I finally got my car and left. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. Update: The A/C compressor in my car I bought 5 months ago is shot and has to be replaced. According to my mechanic, it was most likely band-aided to sell the car. Lovely. While I would like to believe random things happen, my experience with this dealership makes me think my mechanic is right.
