This was exactly the answer I should have gotten from everywhere, but didn't. They gave me a rough estimate and scheduled the work for 2 days later. When I dropped off the car, they said they'd check things out and call with the exact price before starting any work. And they did just that. The work was done by mid-afternoon, and since I couldn't pick up the car until after they closed, they took my credit card over the phone and locked the keys and receipt in the car, after checking to make sure I had another key with me.
