I live a mile away, drove right over and was assisted by Brendan. Since it was lunchtime, I was told I would receive a call as soon as everyone was back and was offered a ride home (very sweet, but it was just a quick walk). Darren called me an hour later with the news that my muffler was good.... but I needed a new catalytic converter. Yikes. He ordered the parts right away (2:30 on Thursday afternoon) and my car was ready 24 hours later. They have photos and videos of what your car needs, Darren and I talked about how this is a great, honest tool for everyone involved (EVERY business should have this!). I am grateful they could get my car in right away, and I'm confident I found a new place for all types of repairs. I was informed of some things with my car and appreciated the advice and the time he gave me to quote on some of the fixings. It feels good supporting local and these family owned business. They're hard workers and real people who aren't trying to take advantage of you. As long as it's not a sudden emergency, this place is worth the value to get your car tuned up at!

I agreed to the price and waited 4 weeks for the part to come in and the repair to be completed. They then charged me $1500. for that repair, handed me the paperwork after they had swiped my cc through the machine. I immediately told them I was over charged, I had been quoted $1000. for the intake manifold repair. The tech Brian told me I would have to discuss with Mark, who wasn't there. I've left letters in the drop box and left vm messages, no one returns my calls. (They did work on another vehicle of mine 2 years ago, almost $4K worth of work on Chevy Colorado.) No longer giving them any more business. Update after speaking with Mark the owner, 5/8/2024. Mark called a few days after I picked up the vehicle. Claims the "repair was a nightmare". All kinds of rust on the intake manifold bolts, 6 of the 8 bolts were rusted out and broke when he tried to remove them. He said the job should have taken him 3 hours but instead it took him 9 hours.(Really???) I told him as a customer who was given an estimate of $1000. for a repair only to be charged 50% more, I was not happy, he should have had a better idea of the condition of the vehicle and the cost to repair (Initially, I had left the vehicle at the shop, he looked the vehicle over and also diagnosed the check engine code issue and that it needed an intake manifold.) I told him given the estimate of $1000., then overcharge of $500., he had lost a customer.

I am impressed because they helped her out when she was recently involved in a fender-bender. She drove the car to them, and they in turn brought it to a reputable body shop. When I called to follow up, Brian and Jill both knew my mom and were aware of how the repairs were progressing. We're grateful for their help and for their helping to maintain our sense of community in Burlington.

My first experience with Accurate Automotive. It was not a pleasant one…read more I went here because they said they provide a vibration test which I was looking for. Later, I was told that a front lower ball joint was "ready to fall off". Well, it didn't feel like that kind of a vibration. He gave me a price of $600 for the ball joint and balancing of two front tires and the vibration test. Brian was very insistent that the car was very dangerous to drive. I was extremely hesitant but agreed to the work performed. I realize now that there was absolutely no mention of the results of the vibration test. So I'm not even sure it was performed. Of course, Brian would say that it was done. Maybe that's why they only charged me half price for the test. In thinking back, I probably spent $600 that I didn't need to spend. I think Brian is a definite Fearmonger (a person who spreads fear and needlessly sounds an alarm). If he thinks he get away with it, he'll Say Anything to get you to spend money whether it's really needed or not. As you can tell, I will not be visiting Accurate Automotive & Tire again. And, do yourself a favor, find someone else to look at your car problems.

For example, the 90k mileage maintenance + rear brake pads + air filter replacement will cost $220 and they're getting it done within 24 hours of my dropping the car there. The shop can be tricky to find as there is no big sign by the street (it's farther back into the parking lot), but it's worth finding these guys. They're quick, courteous, and honest. I can't say enough good things.
