The bike/hiking trail was fairly flat, beautiful and shaded by trees and we made the 5 mile trip to the boat landing in no time. Ted showed up and helped up into the kayaks, gave some more instructions and we were off again! The Potomac was really calm and we took our time paddling back. It was a beautiful and peaceful trip back. Ted met us at the landing and drove us the two blocks back to the shop. Ted was super helpful, the trip was great. It wasn't too promising that they would have what we needed, but low and behold they had everything we needed to get our bikes back on the road. Karen and Kevin siblings (our guardian angels on earth) that were raised in the shop were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They gave us some advice on what we needed and prices were extremely reasonable and fair. The silver lining of our trip.
