They did what we needed. Though, I am not a fan of getting pushed for up charges after every question I asked. They wanted to come out immediately and charge the highest price. We did not need that. They wanted to use their own fobs, instead of the new ones we had on hand. At the end of it, we got what we needed done with what we had (our fobs did work) for a third of the price they attempted to up charge. People beware. read more

I needed to get a few things notarized. I walked in without an appointment and it was as if I'd been coming here for years. I was immediately greeted as I walked through the door and asked if he could help me find anything. After being told I was looking for a notary he pleasantly asked for a moment. He return with another member of their team and we were ready to go. My identity was verified and then with a keen eye she watch as I signed on the appropriate lines. Carefully she insured the stamp was oriented correctly. You can't imagine how many times I've seen someone else mess that up. This place was the definition of professional, T's crossed I's dotted. I locked myself out and they sent a guy out, who was very polite and professional. He said, "Don't worry. Next time you won't have to worry about this bc I have your key information stored and you only have to pay for a new key. Then, I lost my keys again and went to their store three times and they gave me the wrong key each time bc he reverted the numbers. Then, (even though this is obviously THEIR mistake) they made me pay to get another guy out to my house to change the locks again. THEY should have only charged ME for the replacement key and eaten the cost of their mistake. Plus, I ran up and down the road for three hours listening to them tell me to try yet another key each time. read more

Great people with spectacular ethic! Went in for a 6 button key for a Honda van, they cut, and programmed the dongle and sent me on my way for not much $$$! What the big deal about ethic was when I gave them my spare for copy, it said NORVEC, who Is their competitors our of Winchester. They had nothing but great things to say, and even recommended them, I just wanted to keep my money in WV. Highly recommend! read more

This business purported to be expert on programming and cutting motor vehicle keys, and assured me it could do the same with a my key. I wasted a half day traveling only to be told within, minutes after arrival, that key programming was not possible. They previously had this key in their possession before placing a special key fob order for me, and could have done a thorough check at that time. Will not deal with this company again. read more

The technician he sent out was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help with a technical issue I had with my new smartlock which was ultimately the fault of the manufacturer. When AAA failed in my time of need, they were there in a heart beat. My child locked my car keys inside the car and we couldn't get it unlocked. So like anyone would do we called the sherif and they turned us down and AAA gave us the run around and an hour minimum wait. So we called Ave's, and he said give me 20 minutes and I'll be there and there he was. He took no longer than 10 minutes of good service, some friendly conversation and a little bit of hope in humanity when he said that he loved to help people. Once done we thanked him and he sent us on our way with a friendly goodbye. So if you ever have any lock trouble he's the man for you! read more

My dog locked me out of my new home by jumping up on the door and sliding the lock while I was outside. I requested a quote and I had someone dispatched immediately to me to unlock my door. Justin was the technician who came out to meet me. He was able to open my lock and help me keep a bright perspective on things as he was working on it. OMG!!! my son broke his key off in his door, After callling his apartment rentsl after hours they told hI'm there was nothing they could do . It's one of the rules they have if your locked out! So I googled locksmith and found this amazing company Ave's Lock And Key and! They came and helped my son with in 15 min and they did not charge him an arm and leg. they are very reasonable price wise and Timmy the locksmith was and is amazing. thanks Ave's Lock And Key/ and Tommy. Great customer service! I had a vehicle that wouldn't lock. I stopped in and they gave me a quote to have a new key programmed. I went out to the vehicle and a tech met me outside and worked at my door and the key pad. After awhile, it was all fixed and I was on my way. I can finally lock my doors again.
