The bike/hiking trail was fairly flat, beautiful and shaded by trees and we made the 5 mile trip to the boat landing in no time. Ted showed up and helped up into the kayaks, gave some more instructions and we were off again! The Potomac was really calm and we took our time paddling back. It was a beautiful and peaceful trip back. Ted met us at the landing and drove us the two blocks back to the shop. Ted was super helpful, the trip was great.
