Terrible service. Ridiculous prices ($16 nachos, $9 extra dollars to add chicken) for store-bought, salty chips/nachos. The food was terrible. Sad because I love Craig Biggio & just expected more from this place. Don't waste your money. The big screen to watch the Astros game was even terrible quality & probably needs to be fixed. Two people eating was over $60 and I barely touched the nachos - I couldn't finish them. read more

In TX on a business trip and stumbled upon this place for a quick bite. Brisket tacos were solid, although, I'm not a fan of chips as a side for tacos. Perhaps coleslaw or something would be a better fit. read more

Absolutely horrible, came here to meet a friend visiting from out of town had a great night and tipped the bartenders great!!! Just to came to watch a UH game the next week to pregame and they accused me of getting money "thrown" at me last visit and refused me service and wouldn't give me their names and even said it was off word of mouth. Never been so disrespected in front of everyone and on top of that the food is TRASH. read more

Came here with staycation with daughter. Brisket tacos were greasy and flavorless. Served with very bland kettle chips. Daughter had pepperoni pizza. Tasted frozen. Maybe on a game night I could see the kitchen pushing out sun-par food but this wasn't a game night. Will not come back. read more

Great atmosphere, minutes walking distance to Minute Maid park. But, the service is bad. The waiters are friendly, but under-staffed. They are very slow and and the food is average at best. Pick another restaurant or bar. read more

We were staying at the Marriott Marquis for a convention and we ate at Biggio's multiple times. The first time we ordered takeaway at the bar and the food was out pretty quickly. The second time they had "stopped" doing takeout but boxed up our food so we could get it to go, which we appreciated although we waited quite a long time. The third time we ate in the restaurant and the server was nice and attentive. I had the honey chicken sliders, the loaded nachos, and the beer pretzel with cheese throughout our stay. My friends also ordered the bowl of chili and pork sliders. Everything we ate was really good. They had quite a few options on their menu, which made it easy to find something I wanted to try each day. I would definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

Do not waste your time or your money on this joke of a restaurant. 90 minute wait, because everything else was closed, and it was fairly crowded. Understandable. The attitude on our waiter, Robert, was awful. At one point I told him that this was ridiculous, he replied, yeah it is. No class, they do not care, we will never be back. At this point I am literally standing in the middle of the restaurant, waiting on the manager. It has been 20 minutes so far. Making our grand total to try and have dinner roughly 3 hours. For a $20 hamburger. Never again. Stay away! read more

If you're an outsider just looking to have a drink and a bite best believe you won't get welcomed. Although Michelle the bartender is very kind and welcoming, Rosa the bartender will tear the house down with her very aggressive and direct nature. Basically if you don't order food and a drink immediately you're looked over. Definitely would've loved to try the food but if you're sensitive to good vibes and a welcoming nature this isn't your place to go. read more

The food here was amazing! We had the brisket tacos. Matthew and Megan at the bar were great! So much personality.

Just left this awful establishment, working a convention in the hotel and after working all day came to this dis respectful management....had spent close to 200 dollars in drinks and this assistant manager came over to tell us that we couldn't have our feet on the couch.....then asked if we were seated here, which I replied no. She said that we had to go and have the hostest seat us here....so from what I got out of this is to get up and leave our photo equipment there and have her seat us there ....which make no sense! All the assistant manager had to do was be respectful, and ask if the hostest sat us here....and if not , then explain that policy is to be able to sit here you must be seated by staff.......plain and simple! read more

First and foremost the service here is ridiculous. I had never been here and wanted to try it out as the many pictures online show so many TVs! We wanted to watch the play offs for basketball, but the Astros were playing as well. Upon being seated we were not acknowledged for about 20 minutes. People who were getting seated before us were already ordering drinks. We had not even received water. If it wasn't for the young lady asking us if we had been serviced we were getting ready to leave. She took our order of the pretzel, which is amazing! Very fluffy and not salty which is great. It is a good size for the price! The restaurant did not seem busy which why we were confused why the service was so slow. We asked her if we could have one of the tv's changed and she managed to get one of the managers to change it for us. We ordered our food and it came out about 15-20 minutes later. The burger was good but tasted as it had been sitting under a heat lamp or maybe reheated? The fires were soooo good but a little too salty for me. The hot dog was pretty good as well. Overall the food was okay but overpriced and the service was terrible. I don't think we will be returning. read more

Great atmosphere, food, and service! Upscale sports bar, plenty of tv's a great variety on the menu.

I was in search if a quick hearty meal. I walked in with a sleeping toddler, landed on a salad with salmon and it was perfect. I was able to get seated, served and paid for my service all before my toddler woke up. I was very pleased, full and energized to finish my day. One down side is the restrooms do not have changing tables. But the was open counter space. If you are looking for uncomplicated food beer a good fries Biggio's is your place. read more

Would not seat us because all of our party wasn't there yet They were only delayed by 15 minutes. If you like missing revenue by doing such stupid stuff then you did an excellent job. To the reply: This was just prior to the game Friday night. I checked to dining room and there were 6 tables and 3 booths available with no one in line. We were going to grab drinks and some quick appetizers before the game. The couple we were waiting for were in the hotel but had trouble with their room. The joined us, 2 other couples waiting for a table that didn't happen. Because it was too late, we had to leave for the game. Loss revenue. Manage smarter! read more

My wife and I stopped here in the middle of the day. It was not crowded. The place is nice. Biggio was a great player and you would expect his namesake restaurant to be exceptional but the food was mediocre. I had a burger and it was just okay. The fries were pretty good. My wife had a crispy chicken sandwich that was not very good. It was overcooked and the meat didn't seem to be all breast meat. And it took a long time to get the food even though hardly any customers were there. For $20 for each sandwich you would expect a little more effort. read more

Always crowded and currently under staffed. Service, especially bar service, is very slow. Food is good but nothing special yet its a popular place as it's the only sports bar near Minute Maid Park read more

Bar tender always charges my card even though I pay cash! It's happened a couple of times!

Order the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and was beyond let down, the chicken was cooked but frozen and very cold, and the salad had hardly any dressing almost none. By far the worst salad Iv had, honestly a pre made salad that comes in a plastic container from the grocery store would have done me better then this. read more

We were seated quickly and asked for our orders quickly but our food came before drinks. Come to find out they never put the drinks in. Pretzel did not have salt but ok it was huge wasnt big on the mustard that came with it tasted like it had relish in it but the cheese was on point they did comp the drinks super nice staff. Pizza is something you can get out of any freezer. I say come here for the bar and pretzel with cheese but not much more. read more

Absolutely man cave, awesome TVs and food is bomb! Great beers on tap. You'll love this is you love sports, beer and food!

Got some nachos that were really good and big serving even as an appetizer. Fries were crunchy and delicious as well

I was completed blown away once I entered Biggio's! It is attached to the ground floor in the Marriott Marquis Houston downtown. Unless you can find a spot on the street it is valet parking here and its $10. When you arrive there is a hostess at the door to direct you to the seating areas which are many. To the left of the door was a comfortable seating area with couches . If you turn to the right there is a long bar with many TV's mounted above them. Some are extremely LARGE! We sat to the right in the dining area where there were tables and chairs. We were here to view the Rockets game and it was shown on a movie theatre size screen with another game above it on the same size screen. The players looked life sized on that screen! We ordered some food which is a little pricey but with a place like this it's expected. The drinks were strong enough though. Its a high end sports bar so... We were also lucky enough to meet 2 of Craig Biggio's sons sitting at the table in front of us along with Ken Caminiti's daughter. They were more than gracious to take a few pics with us and hold an extended conversation. They were so down to earth. He has done a great job raising them. Me and my friends had an awesome time and we will definitely be back! read more

Had a good time here. The food was prompt and cooked to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed our server Khris who had a great command of both food and drink menus. This place is a must visit if you are ever downtown. read more

I came for a group happy hour with colleagues on a recent afternoon. The space is great for happy hour and watching sports. I liked the two levels and very comfy couches and chairs downstairs. I love the beautiful hotel it's in! It feels like a little Vegas hotel. And I really like how clean and pleasant the area now feels. Service was pretty good for a group of our size. Drinks were very good and I liked their cocktail list, although we opted for margaritas that were tasty and had just the right kick. Re food, the pretzel was fabulous and enormous! The chili fries were just ok and the flatbread got mixed reviews. The menu had lots of bites, sliders, etc. listed but we just tried a few things this visit. read more

I've had the pretzel here, which is about the size of Texas itself....it's that big...and the pulled pork BBQ sandwich. Both were good meals and reasonably priced for being inside a luxury hotel. The beer selection is also nice and at a good price, about 6-7 dollars for a beer. There are also tv screens everywhere and plenty of seating options. It's worth a try if you are hungry or thirsty and around the Marriott area. read more

Had high hope for the place but the food is very so so. Wings are acceptable. The queso fries are a glop with very little flavor. The peanut butter dessert is total crap. Looked good but taste awful. The concept is fine for a bar but that's about it. read more

Hey, what an unexpected great meal!!! Best "hotel food" EVER!!! We arrived at the hotel late afternoon after a long drive and wanted a decent "easy" meal. Although the Yelp review wasn't that great, we decided to risk it. So glad we did!!! Our waiter, Brent gave impeccable service, and we went with his recommendations. I had the chicken & waffles & my husband had the BGO sandwiches, which are fillet mignon on English muffins. Both were perfect! The fillet was super tender and flavorful, and the "salt vs sweet" of the chicken & waffles was perfect. The Makers & Water was perfect as well. Great meal all around! A+++. read more

Horrible service. Waitress was really rude. Food never came. People who came after us food was out before ours. I do not recommend.

Friend recommended this place and it was nice the ambience was good. Attentive bartenders and service. I looked up at my credit card statement and I saw I was charged twice! One for 134 and the other for 194. Been trying to get in contact but their number does not work. read more

The scenery was really nice. Right on the corner downtown across from the convention center. Inside was beautiful & open so we chose a seat by the window. Menu wasn't too pricey which is nice. I ordered the bacon cheddar burger with fries. It was an average burger for the price of $17, but I didn't mind paying for the ambiance as well. They had good music playing low in the background & our waitress was prompt with everything. I'll more than likely return, but next time order their BBQ. read more

Front staff was so horrible, leaving us feeling so uncomfortable we ended up leaving almost immediately. Shortly after arriving and being seated at a table in the middle of the room, our host disappeared to get us silverware. While continuing to stand and not wanting to dirty a clean table, another host saw us standing and asked if we needed help. When we asked for a booth as my son can be disruptive if feeling like everyone is watching him (hence the middle table that we tried to change) We asked for a booth. The second hostess said that our party of three cannot sit in the booth as they are for only 6 or more. At that time only one party was seated at the booths but the host assured us that they planned for a busy day and that they cannot give us a booth. They could however give us a tall table, so we took it with hesitation because of my son falling out of the tall seat. Once seated I realized there was water marks on the table from glasses, which meant the table was actually dirty! Then looking back after realizing the dirty table and looking for the host I noticed the party that was currently seating in the booth area was only a party of 3!!!!! At that time a drink server came by to drop off waters to the table, who was actually the only decently nice person in there that could tell something was wrong. I feel he sent the server Ashlee over right away and while I tried to ignore how upset the host situation frustrated me and my husband I decided I'm not comfortable staying. I have never walked out of an establishment before, I have never felt so uncomfortable. I hope that management better trains their employees to make their customers feel welcomed! We ended up going to a restaurant down the street and had great service. It was such a let down to not be able to relax and stay in the hotel and enjoy a nice meal before going swimming. read more

Didn't even finish these and knew they needed a review. Best chili cheese fries I've ever had. The fries aren't soggy at all, the cheese is sooo good, and they didn't overdo it on the chili (NO BEANS!!!). If you're looking for an app here, you can't go wrong with the bison chili fries! If you like sports and eclectic people watching worthy crowds , this is a must see spot . Impressive ceiling to floor sports screens with multiple games on at once and in the very swanky Marriot Marquis in downtown Houston, Biggio's is an upscale sports bar with fancy drinks and a variety of cool things to eat. If this review was solely based on food, I would definitely go 4 stars; however, the service was uncomfortably slow at the bar and lacked any real consideration for the guest. The bartender, when asked if the beer was colder in a bottle or through draft responded with an annoyed expression "I don't know..." seriously, at least humor someone. Not to mention, no one was in a rush to even acknowledge guests as they were coming up to order at the bar , it was uncomfortable trying to get a bartenders attention. Once we sat down, those drinking in our 4 person party waited a long time with each drink ordered. Our waitress was ok, she tried hard at least but drinks came out slow, water wasn't filled and time between visits were longer than expected. The food was good though, not worth the mediocre service, but tasty. We had the chicken Caesar salad, chicken and waffles, wild boar mac and cheese and a mushroom burger . All were very good and there was plenty of food. Price point is expectedly high and if the service Would have matched the venue and the price , I would have been impressed . Cool spot for sports fans and people in the area for games ! read more

Ate at Biggio's for the first time tonight- I am a local Hustonian staying here for a girlfriend's birthday- and I am impressed. The restaurant is beautiful, and the food was amazing (fish tacos, chopped salad, and Caesar were all to die for!). Ask for Abad, such a great server! I asked him multiple times on remembering our drink order, and he got it right (we had a specific drink we were going for) and our order was perfect- we had a lot of special requests. 9/10 recommend- not a perfect ten, because it is not Tris in the Woodlands. Definitely will be back next time I'm downtown! read more

Got food poisoning right after eating here. Couldn't enjoy my night staying at the Marriott, spent the night throwing up.

I held out on visiting Biggio's during it's first few months of operation to allow them time to work out the kinks. I'm glad I did because my experience was much better than those mentioned in the earlier reviews. I stopped by during Game 5 of the NBA finals. The number of screens here is overwhelming, but in a good way. We got there in adequate time to find a decent seat near the large screen on the second floor. By tip off, it was completely packed. Our server was very attentive and personable. My gf and I shared the nachos with the bison chili on the side. I'm lactose intolerant, so when I roll the dice on meals with dairy it better be worth it. Long story short, I almost licked the plate. The bar and kitchen were slow getting orders out, but other than that I had no complaints. I live in the area, so I will definitely return during football season. read more

I love Melanie she's such a great bartender. Quick service. Catered to my needs. Def will be back

The food was meh... This is very much an upscale sports bar, food isn't what you really come to these places for, you come here to watch sports and drink beer, interior/atmosphere is good. Come here with the mentality of it being a sports bar and you won't be disappointed. read more

A huge, impressive facility! The ambience is fun, casual and perfectly "downtown." You can watch any sporting event from your table--the MLB Home-Run Derby for us that night!
