    Swift Kick

For Aspen, this is an actual hole in the wall (basement) affordable lunch option. We came here after snowshoeing and got a wrap to hold us over until dinner. My husband and I split the Swift Kick wrap with steak, and got a side of chips and guacamole (very reasonably priced). The wrap tasted very fresh, albeit a little wet (I think from the salsa). Not the best wrap (honestly it was more like a burrito) that I've ever had, but it was very solid especially for the price point. It's a small shop with probably about 10-15 bar stools and seating facing the interior walls. Feels like a very local spot. Would go back here if looking for a fast-casual lunch in Aspen.

Wow...just wow. I wish they had wrap places like this all over the world because I could eat here everyday. This place offered a huge selection of wraps/salads/smoothies with vegan/vegetarian options. What a gem! The "to Thai for wrap" caught my eye immediately and it was even better than I thought it would be. It had the flavor of pad Thai in a loaded burrito with jasmine rice, tofu, black beans, veggies all wrapped in a Chile tortilla. This thing was massive but I ate it all and was full the rest of the day! It had to be the best wrap I've ever had. I also tried a side of chips with the medium salad and the chips were so good! The salsa had so much corn, which I like but if you're not big on corn maybe try a different salsa. They only accept cash, but they have an atm on site. They make the wrap fresh in front of you and in record time. Not as fancy as some restaurants in Aspen, but if you're looking for a casual bite to eat this is the place!

We arrived at 10am, and no wait, but people were already starting to come in. Tried a smoothie and turkey wrap. It was decent, and reasonably priced for the Aspen food scene. Good place for quick grab and went back to our hotel to eat

The wrap is good. We had Mexican wrap with guac. The lady offered to cut it in half so we could share it. It was in big portion and delicious. The wait was not too long and it moved fast. Gladly it does accept credit card so no worries about having to pay with cash. It's a small store with a few seats inside.

Love the lunches here. Busy, so be prepared to wait. Know what you want before you get to the counter. My favorite is the Thai bowl w tofu.

I came with my flight crew (just a couple of pilots in addition) and we just sat at the bar. I had the kale rotisserie chicken salad. The peanut dressing does have soy sauce so it is not gluten free, so they brought me a champagne vinaigrette instead. It was delicious. I got this during the cyclospora outbreak, because I'm a wild person now lol but they assured me they only get quality ingredients and super clean all veggies and fruit coming in. My pilots got the meatballs, creamed corn, and deviled eggs and they LOVED them.

It has nice decor but its noisy as well and EXPENSIVE. $25 for a burger and $32 for a French Dip sandwich WITH NO SIDES? $7 more for a side of boring fries?! My wife ordered a diet coke and I a Shirley Temple. We were brought bottles (a tiny soda) to pour and mix our own drinks. And expensive. The QUALITY of the food was quite high and everything tasted fresh (except the boring fries). If you are a wealthy aspen socialite then maybe this place is for you...but if you are an average traveler....There has to be cheaper for similar quality. Maybe it's an Aspen thing...

They have plenty of vegan options, which was something I was concerned about finding compared to other restaurants in the area. Almost everything can be made vegan on the menu! The food is delicious and the ingredients are fresh. I ordered the vegan Chickpea Tuna Melt for lunch and the Blanca's Breakfast Sandwich with tofu eggs for breakfast. Both were so incredibly delicious! My husband ordered the Superhero Burrito for breakfast and he said it was good and filling. I did not have any issues with any of the staff that I encountered. Everyone was helpful and very kind. You order at the counter and choose your own seating with plenty of indoor and outdoor bistro style seating with beautiful views of the mountains from inside or outside! They bring your food directly to your table when ready. The only down side was the price, but that is to be expected in Aspen, especially with specialty ingredients to accommodate organic, fresh, and vegan. If you enjoy fresh and healthy food, i would suggest giving Spring Cafe a try!

Prices are on par with the area & the space is definitely popular. There's lots of seating tho folks enjoy lingering and conversing Our coffee and tea drinks were ok. Our experience at Meat & Cheese in Aspen was disappointing from beginning to end…read more To start with, the food was mediocre in every sense. The quality did not justify the prices, the flavors were forgettable, and nothing we ordered stood out. Unfortunately, what happened afterward was far worse. My wife accidentally left behind a shopping bag containing a brand new pair of sunglasses she had purchased earlier that day. When she returned to retrieve them, our interaction with a server named Carson was deeply disappointing. Instead of simply confirming ownership in a courteous and professional manner, Carson repeatedly questioned whether the sunglasses were actually hers. He kept emphasizing that they were brand new and worth around $600, making it clear that he found it difficult to believe they belonged to her. It was impossible not to feel that she was being judged based solely on her appearance. There is absolutely nothing wrong with verifying ownership of a valuable item. In fact, we appreciate businesses that take lost property seriously. What is unacceptable is allowing assumptions and stereotypes to influence how customers are treated. One lesson worth remembering is that genuine elegance and long established wealth rarely need to announce themselves. Those who have had the privilege of success across generations often feel no need to advertise it with designer logos or outward displays. True class is reflected in education, humility, confidence, and, above all, in the way people treat others. Ironically, Carson's assumptions said far more about his own judgment than they did about my wife. No customer should ever be made to feel that they need to "look wealthy" in order to be treated with respect. We hope management addresses this issue seriously. The mediocre food was forgettable. Being judged and treated with prejudice is not. Every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and dignity, regardless of how they are dressed or what assumptions someone chooses to make about them.
