Long lunch line but the service was fast and good. Ordered the Rock Your World Wrap and it was tasty.

For Aspen, this is an actual hole in the wall (basement) affordable lunch option. We came here after snowshoeing and got a wrap to hold us over until dinner. My husband and I split the Swift Kick wrap with steak, and got a side of chips and guacamole (very reasonably priced). The wrap tasted very fresh, albeit a little wet (I think from the salsa). Not the best wrap (honestly it was more like a burrito) that I've ever had, but it was very solid especially for the price point. It's a small shop with probably about 10-15 bar stools and seating facing the interior walls. Feels like a very local spot. Would go back here if looking for a fast-casual lunch in Aspen.

Wow...just wow. I wish they had wrap places like this all over the world because I could eat here everyday. This place offered a huge selection of wraps/salads/smoothies with vegan/vegetarian options. What a gem! The "to Thai for wrap" caught my eye immediately and it was even better than I thought it would be. It had the flavor of pad Thai in a loaded burrito with jasmine rice, tofu, black beans, veggies all wrapped in a Chile tortilla. This thing was massive but I ate it all and was full the rest of the day! It had to be the best wrap I've ever had. I also tried a side of chips with the medium salad and the chips were so good! The salsa had so much corn, which I like but if you're not big on corn maybe try a different salsa. They only accept cash, but they have an atm on site. They make the wrap fresh in front of you and in record time. Not as fancy as some restaurants in Aspen, but if you're looking for a casual bite to eat this is the place!

We arrived at 10am, and no wait, but people were already starting to come in. Tried a smoothie and turkey wrap. It was decent, and reasonably priced for the Aspen food scene. Good place for quick grab and went back to our hotel to eat

Decent portions for the price, staff seemed very nice. A reasonable lunch option, better than sandwiches from nearby grocers and delis.

I came with my flight crew (just a couple of pilots in addition) and we just sat at the bar. I had the kale rotisserie chicken salad. The peanut dressing does have soy sauce so it is not gluten free, so they brought me a champagne vinaigrette instead. It was delicious. I got this during the cyclospora outbreak, because I'm a wild person now lol but they assured me they only get quality ingredients and super clean all veggies and fruit coming in. My pilots got the meatballs, creamed corn, and deviled eggs and they LOVED them.

They are pet friendly and have outdoor seating! Servers were very friendly although the serving can take a bit longer, depending on how busy they are. The French Dip came with lots of prime rib and a cup of Au jus, with horseradish to cut down on the heaviness. Crispy chicken sandwich was my favorite! It came sliced in three so the portion was massive. The chicken had more of a Japanese katsu style breading on it so it was super crispy. The burger was also a solid choice. Great bun to filling ratio and the spicy slaw was a complemented the burger well. The fries were pricey and I didn't realize that they weren't a side but an appetizer, but these fries were super crispy and delicious. You could tell that they were fried freshly on the spot. The creamy sauce it came with paired well with them! Deviled eggs were savory and had a kick from the pickle relish. This was my first time eating creamed corn and I liked it! It was warm and creamy, with a slight kick from the jalapeño slices.

The place has plenty of history and has been a social spot in Aspen for generations. The Old West vibe is still very much alive, which is rare in a city that has more hipster spots than anything else. My partner and I both enjoyed our cocktails. We sat at the bar, but there were plenty of tables too. Service was decent, if a little inconsistent. Our first server was fine but seemed somewhat checked out, while the second one randomly brought us bar snacks around our second drink (nuts, and they were delicious). Left me wondering why the first server didn't do the same. The cocktails are pricey, $20+ with a 22% gratuity automatically added to the check, but it IS Aspen after all. The local beers were fairly priced, which was a nice surprise.

Our experience at Meat & Cheese in Aspen was disappointing from beginning to end…read more To start with, the food was mediocre in every sense. The quality did not justify the prices, the flavors were forgettable, and nothing we ordered stood out. Unfortunately, what happened afterward was far worse. My wife accidentally left behind a shopping bag containing a brand new pair of sunglasses she had purchased earlier that day. When she returned to retrieve them, our interaction with a server named Carson was deeply disappointing. Instead of simply confirming ownership in a courteous and professional manner, Carson repeatedly questioned whether the sunglasses were actually hers. He kept emphasizing that they were brand new and worth around $600, making it clear that he found it difficult to believe they belonged to her. It was impossible not to feel that she was being judged based solely on her appearance. There is absolutely nothing wrong with verifying ownership of a valuable item. In fact, we appreciate businesses that take lost property seriously. What is unacceptable is allowing assumptions and stereotypes to influence how customers are treated. One lesson worth remembering is that genuine elegance and long established wealth rarely need to announce themselves. Those who have had the privilege of success across generations often feel no need to advertise it with designer logos or outward displays. True class is reflected in education, humility, confidence, and, above all, in the way people treat others. Ironically, Carson's assumptions said far more about his own judgment than they did about my wife. No customer should ever be made to feel that they need to "look wealthy" in order to be treated with respect. We hope management addresses this issue seriously. The mediocre food was forgettable. Being judged and treated with prejudice is not. Every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and dignity, regardless of how they are dressed or what assumptions someone chooses to make about them.
