The food was good--I got a burrito with a gluten free wrap. I indicated I have a gluten allergy and within 15 minutes I felt sick and have had lots of bloating and stomach problems since then. I wanted to like this place but I'm disappointed that there's likely cross contamination. read more

We ordered a takeout order in the morning for an afternoon pickup for our flight home. The small shop is tucked into a little shopping area in the heart of downtown Aspen. Parking is a pain like always but I was able to grab a spot a few blocks away. Our bag of food was on the counter ready and the line moved quickly. 4 sandwiches and a salad came out to $98 after a tip, typical Aspen. By the time we ate our food in the air, it wasn't warm anymore but that's not their fault. The sandwich I had was the Dinde and I really enjoyed it. The portion size was more than enough and the ingredients seemed high quality. Overall, nice little sandwich and juice shop that we will use again for meals on our flights. read more

Great little sandwich, juice and smoothie shop located inside an interior courtyard, where they have a few tables available to sit and eat. Great selection of bottled juices that claim to address a multitude of issues from dry skin to high blood pressure. Can't speak to how efficacious they are, but they do taste good. My new FAVE!!! Dragon smoothie is delicious. I love their sandwiches and how you can swap/customize and make it your own. I got the prosciutto sandwich but swapped prosciutto with turkey and added Dijon, arugula and tomato to the baguette in addition to mozzarella and balsamic glaze. Also loved their cold pressed grapefruit juice. Need this place to come to NorCal! Service is fast and efficient. 3.5/5 stars. I'm a huge fan of smoothie bowl toppings and think they can definitely make or break a bowl. I never thought I would say there is such a thing as too many toppings, but my Felix bowl at Jus Aspen was about 3/5 toppings, and only a few spoons worth of actual smoothie. The banana, coconut, and strawberry toppings were yummy, but the combination of the super sweet granola, sweetened dried cranberries, and honey drizzle made this overly sweet and hard to eat. There were so many cranberries and the excessive caramelized sugar in the granola made the bowl really hard to eat (think of tough and chewy cold gummy bears in ice cream, but x10!). I ended up picking off the toppings to make it easier to eat, and the smoothie itself had a nice taste. I would give Jus another shot for some of its salads, sandwiches, or maybe a standard smoothie without the toppings. read more

Stopped by for some juice to quench my thirst. Per fellow Yelpers recommendation I got the pink panther. It was unusual but tasty. Can't say I've ever tried anything like this. It was subtle, like rose water but with the creaminess of almond milk. It was pleasantly refreshing. I have deducted a star because every table in this place was dirty! And the trash is overflowing... we came on a Tuesday, I'd hate to see how dirty it is on a busier day... read more

Came here 3-4 times during our 3 day stay in Aspen. They have fresh acai bowls. The base is slightly different but the toppings were always the same - bananas, strawberries, cranberries and their homemade granola. The fruit is fresh and ripe. The granola is the star, though some chunks are really big and because the base is cold, it's hard(er) then typical granola. It's hard to break up as it's a corn recycled spoon so you have to have strong teeth! The bowls are small. The juices are fresh squeezed and refreshing. The milks are delicious, with the exception of the blue smurf (spirulina) as that had no taste (compared to the cacoa or espresso or pink one). Very filling as it's made from almonds. The place is popular. Service friendly and fast. It's expensive so beware! read more

I stopped by Jus a few months ago and loved it. It's pricey but offers a ton of healthy drink and food options for an active vacation hiking and exploring the mountains. Even if you're just relaxing, these drinks help so much with staying hydrated and acclimating to Aspen's high altitude. I ended up going back a few times and tried several different drinks. I think Jus is the healthiest place in Aspen besides a gym. If you are looking to do a juice cleanse or eat a healthy meal, you are at the right place. Everything on the menu is healthy. If a juice cleanse is not your thing, you can grab a bottle of cold-pressed juice or a smoothie to go with your meal. The food menu consists of sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas, salads, and acai bowls. If you are looking for a quick snack rather than a full meal, get a protein ball. I have tried the déjèuner quesadilla and the jambon sandwich. I have also tried the watermelon mojito juice and the ginger shot. The food is tasty, but the portion sizes are small. On the other hand, I am not a fan of the juices - they are too healthy for me. You will like the juices though if you like super healthy drinks. For me, I will just stick to the food. Jus is open daily from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M., and breakfast is served all day. The food is pretty expensive considering the small portion size, but at least you know that you are eating healthy. This is a place that will not make your body feel guilty, but it will make your wallet feel guilty. read more

When we entered the shop the man at the counter was counting money and ignored us completely - no eye contact, no "sorry, just a minute" - until he was finished. My friend and I felt awkward and wished he had acknowledged us. While we were ordering, he turned and spoke to a coworker for a minute and we had to restate our orders. Once again we felt awkward and ignored. The smoothies came quickly and were generally fine. My friend got one with matcha in it and the matcha overpowered every other flavor that was supposed to be in there. I got a berry one but the honey was too overwhelming and sweet for me. I would give them another chance to try an açaí bowl, but otherwise wouldn't really want to go back and pay that price for a mediocre experience again. read more

This place is the most adorable little health spot! I had a delicious coconut tuna wrap, healthy smoothie, and protein balls--loved it all! The guy working the front was super knowledgeable and could list all the ingredients which made my picky health nut self very happy. 10/10 will come back next time I'm in aspen! I am visiting Aspen from FtLauderdale Fl. I decided to eat the jambon sandwich which I may say was so good I came back and had it a second time. The coffee was also made well and if your in the mood for a healthy, delicious pressed juice. This is the place to get it. I highly recommend the grapefruit. Fresh and delicious! As a local, I am thankful for this place and gladly spend my paycheck here, haha. The food is absolutely delicious- the tuna salad (Thon) is out of this world (try it on the coconut wrap... drool) and the Ouef are my personal favorites. The Dejeuner and Petit Dejeuner are also winners (they make the best salsa!) All juices are cold pressed and delicious. It's a great break from the booze and indulgence that Aspen has every 5 feet, especially because I tend to booze and indulge myself more often than not. If you do as well, the Charcoal Lemonade and Chlorophyll Water will remedy you. Yes, its expensive, this is ASPEN. Everything is expensive! But this is quality. Walked here just after it opened on a Sunday morning. We ordered a smoothie which came out right away... it was decent. Ordered a cold pressed juice and it was tasty but also very expensive. The reason the review is so poor is we also ordered two egg and cheese quesadillas and waited over 35 minutes! Apparently someone placed an order online and those orders take priority over patrons who bother to come in. We asked for a refund but the manager on duty didn't know how. They kept telling us it almost ready but 35 minutes for a quesadilla is ridiculous! This was our first time in Aspen.
