The One - Regular Turkey on white.

I haven't been here in years. My return was great. I like the fresh bread that's light & fluffy. I also enjoy the 2 cheeses and fresh, cold veggies. Bring alittle patience because its a 1 man show, atleast on this day it was. Decent sandwich for under $10. Try 'em out.

Tuna melt panini. Nicely done.

I have never been in Big Town Hero but I do think I have had catered sandwiches at meetings in the past. And they were fine. Teen and I are in the middle of a project. Mom! Mom! Mom! MOOOOOOOM! Um ok what? I. AM. HANGRY. Seriously I think the kid is having a growth spurt ( at 17? is this a thing?) because it has been like this for weeks. AND Mom! you can choose! Just FEED ME. Little Shop of Horrors moment there. Anyway. I said " find me a tuna melt." Because some days are tuna melt days. Now I could make one just fine, in fact, an ex of mine said my amazing parmesan crusted albacore tuna melts were his favorite thing that I ever made, but sometimes I want others to make me one. Long story short we ordered panini from here. Delivered. Teen had the " Italian" with pepperoni, salami, ham, provolone, peppers etc on it. Mine had cheddar, tomato, pickles, and a quite decent tuna salad. The bread was like a folded fluffy flatbread, nicely grilled, the cheese was melty. Sometimes places do not nail the melty cheese part which is the whole dang point. Yes I know you're not supposed to eat tuna salad out for safety reasons. I liked this sandwich and I would do it again. I think their offerings are fine. It is probably a 3.5 but our delivery was super fast ( so they were ready fast) and everything was correct. Teen inhaled that Italian quickly so no photo of that one. P.S. You can get a side of fresh avocado for $1 ( small), $1.50 (medium) or $2 ( large). We shared a large and it was just the right amount.

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday they offer Cheesy Garlic bread which is hands down the best bread for a sandwich place in town! It's fresh baked daily and always delish. They have hot and cold sandwiches, paninis, soup, and salad. They serve Pepsi products, which is great for this Mt. Dew loving gal. My fav, pictured, is the turkey bacon avocado, subbing lettuce and mayo for cucumber. All of that and an olive on top! I'd eat here every week if I could!

Italiano Panini - good stuff!

The worst service I've ever had. The sandwich was just OK but the guy behind the counter was just a total A hole.

Got the French dip, the bread wasn't what you would use for this and the sauce was just colored water. Not feeling it.

The café itself is simple, clean, and cozy, with a small outdoor seating area available. Their menu features a variety of sandwiches and burgers to choose from. On a previous visit, I tried the elk burger, which was excellent. This time, I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The bread was lightly toasted, the portion of meat was generous, and the sandwich itself was hearty and satisfying. Service was quick and efficient, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch. While the space is modest, it is well-maintained and comfortable. They also operate a butcher shop next door, which has become one of my favorite places to purchase quality meats--I plan to review that separately in the future. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

They have an amazing selection of fresh breads, rolls, cookies, muffins, seasonal specials and so much more! It's a small space but you can see everyone working hard in the back baking away. My daughter and I enjoyed the Dakota as well with the regular and garlic butter and of course we got Marionberry cinnamon rolls to go and I love that you have the option between frosted and unfrosted. The icing on the cake for visit was my daughter got a leprechaun coloring page and was told she can color it and bring it back to trade for a giant cookie and have it displayed in the shop! What a wonderful way to engage the kiddos. Thank you so much for that fun surprise! I always knew about this little bread making factory, but now I finally get what the hype is all about. Here's a few little reasons as to what makes this place "Great!" * Parking Situation * It's next to a Safeway, so plenty of spaces for parking. People come and go, so front row parking is usually obtainable. * Dining Expectations * First of all, they're a tiny shop, and there's only one long stand-up table against the window. So basically, no 'sit-down' dining. If you're grabbing lunch, you can also expect a lunch line due to its popularity. Sometimes the line can be out the door. * The Harvest Offerings * What impressed me most, was walking in with a warm welcome from the staff, and being offered a slice of bread to sample. They even offer some of their buttery spreads you can spread on it too. And it happens with every visit! Here's a few sandwiches I've tried: ~ Classic Turkey (1/2 sandwich, $6) made with their garlic cheddar bread. A simple sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, slices of turkey, mayo, and Tillamook cheddar. It's that soft bread that made it all so yummy. ~ Tuna Salad Sandwich (whole, $10), and I gotta say their tuna ain't so bad either. Not heavy on the dill flavor, but flavorful and filling enough. I had this on their wheat bread, and I'd say they make a tasty whole wheat! ~ Other favorites I've tried, their Club sando with Turkey slices and bacon. And their BLTA with avocado of course. Both are just yummy classics. Yes, I'd say their offerings are basic sandwiches, but really you gotta experience this place just because of the bread alone. They do have a display case full of pastries like their breakfast bun with egg, two types of cinnamon rolls, two types of bread pudding, brownies, scones, muffins, and various types of cookies. Look behind you and they've got a shelf with 'Day old cookies' that are still sweet to eat! But in closing, come here for the samples, come here for the sandos, come here for the pastries! What more can you ask for? (Well, I did ask if they can toast the bread for my sando, but they said they cannot. I get it. Just thought I'd ask lol).

I also noticed they have a cajun chicken sandwich, some wings, and I think I saw they had nuggets too on the menu. Ranges between $2.99 for a small side or for their yummy potato wedges. To typically between $6 to $13 for a box, and $20 to $30 on a Family Meal depending on what you get. Since they opened recently, I only ordered a 2-pc Krunch Box with a biscuit and side for only $5.99. Stick with the mashed potatoes and gravy, or the mac-n-cheese. As I just wasn't a fan of their jambalaya. But the chicken itself was just crunchy and flavorful. Gotta love them Louisiana spices!
