On March 11, 2023 I used this mover to bring things from my storage area to my new home in Kings Mills, OH Unfortunately, not only was my furniture damaged, but they left my Washer in the middle of the kitchen floor as they stated they could not get it in the basement. (i had a neighbor and his 14 year old boy get it down there without any trouble) They put gouges in my floor, and when they said they were going to step outside to "call the boss" they took off with my dolly and just left with machine in kitchen. I looked for my wallet and could not find it so I called "big paul" and asked if they had inadvertently picked up my wallet with their paperwork. Well, Big Paul, went off on me and said these were family and how dare I accuse them of theft which at this point I was not. I found my wallet under some boxes they had left piled in the kitchen and went back to my friends house where I was staying during the move. I did not look in the wallet and was going to call Big Paul in the morning to apologize. The next morning I started getting texts from my bank and credit card companies asking if I had made certain charges. I then looked in my wallet and discovered 4 credit cards and both my business and personal credit cards were missing and my Arizona driver's license as well. I reported this to the police and subsequently one of the mover's and his girlfriend were arrested and they pleaded guilty. I have attended everyone of their sentencing and they will serve time. To this date I have not received and communication from Big Paul even after I sent him an email requesting as to how he would take care of the damages. I will be pursuing this in court. These guys were very professional in moving my furniture they made sure everything was covered with moving pads. Big Paul's... reviews matter!!! before i get started ... i'm going to say ... please please please don't use this moving company... the owner of this company which i talk to is very... rudd... disrepesctful... and non professional... he shouldn't ever own any buisness... when asking for a quote right from the start of the conversation he was very agressive when giving the information... he kept changing the prices like he charges what he wants... moving is exspensive and everyone doesn't have money to negotiate with... i'm almost sure by is actions he doesn't like his job and needs to find a different field of work... i wouldn't trust this company to move a roll of toilet paper... on a positive note!! i hope everyone's moving experience worked out in there favor!! read more

My boyfriend used Big Paul's over the weekend to move. They were unbelievable! So fast and efficient and friendly. These guys did not stop for a minute. I have used Big Paul's Moving service a total of 4 times now, and I will NEVER try to move without them, nor try ANY of their competitor's. After comparing Big Paul's prices with four other competitors, Big Paul's won hands down with the cheapest price and more "bang" for my buck! i.e. truck size, # of men, rate per hour, ect. They are fast, professional, and very reliable. They handled my crappy furniture with great care, and are always very friendly and patient with my neurotic self! I used Big Paul's in July, 2017 to move from my apartment to a condo. I was referred to them from my brother who apparently had no problem with them. Unfortunately I cannot say that. Yes I got moved but they took twice as long as suggested, tried to charge me double and then broke a few items. Items that cannot be replaced. I contacted them and told them exactly what I had to move (It was basically a house that was moved into an apartment) and they confirmed what I told them on the morning of the move via phone. I got them coffee and donuts and even had cash to give them a tip. They showed up with a small moving truck. Basically a regular van with a small box on the back. Definitely not large enough to move what I had to move. 3 guys, two of which did most of the work with the little guy doing most of the moving. We made the first trip and went back again for the second. At that point the problems began. They broke a 40 year old cedar hope chest by pulling half of the front leg/board off because they didn't pick it up properly. And yes, it was empty. They rolled a gas grill from the back porch right through the living room and out the door to the truck; They paid no attention to the writing on the boxes and did not put most of the boxes in their correct locations; Without my knowledge and approval, they were putting items in the back of my SUV to be moved, on top of breakable items I put in there to move myself so they wouldn't get broken. Let's just say they put a microwave over on top of some glass decorations and candles that didn't make it through the move. Not to mention that during the trip over I noticed that all of a sudden the microwave shifted and almost fell out of the back window as they did not close it properly. Almost had a microwave in the middle of the road. I got out to readjust it and close the window with the movers directly behind me with only one of the guys actually getting out to help. He wasn't much help as he had his cell phone in his other hand complaining to his girlfriend on the phone about what I thought was their kids behavior. I told that guy that at that point I was not happy about what they had done. They quoted I believe it was a $250.00 minimum and $85hr each additional and 4 hours to get the job done, approximately $420. They tried to charge me over $700 with only a 1/2 hour credit for having to make two trips. I had them call their boss as I was not happy with their work and they knew it. During the phone call with the boss we agreed on a price after giving me only a $20 credit for an antique hope chest per their contract and for showing up with a truck that was most definitely too small for the job and a few other items. During the call I noticed that the little guy got quite upset and was mouthing off under his breath and moving back and forth between the garage and the house and the supervisor was not happy as well. After they left I surveyed the damage and thought as least I was moved. Here's the problem, after finally getting through all of the boxes in the next two months I found a box of antique glassware that was hidden behind other items. I picked up the box and found that everyone of the items in the box was crushed except for 3 which were on the outside edges of the box. It appeared that one of the men had stomped in the box and then hid it just to get back at me. When I say crushed, I mean CRUSHED! Literally! One of them had taken their anger out on the box. I tried to contact them but they did not and probably will not return my call. So a Yelp Review was my only recourse. Don't hire them unless you don't really care whether or not your valuables get there in one piece. DEFINITELY NOT A HAPPY CAMPER WITH THIS COMPANY!!! read more

I've hired this team 6 times. Yes, I move a lot. Every single time they have been amazing. They are very skilled at getting everything to fit in the truck. They work very quickly so it keeps the price low. They are smart about how to prop doors, park the truck, and everything that goes into making the move smooth. I've never once had an item damaged. They call you the morning of the move to make sure they have what they need. They send 3 guys instead of 2 which makes everything fast. I feel like they are underpaid for the job they do and I wish I could give them even more of a tip that I already give. (I even try to give 20%.) The price is way more than reasonable. They also have given me a discount for being a return customer. I've also moved outside of the 275 loop and they didn't charge me extra, just the normal hourly rate. I've had Jody on my team everytime and he is very good at managing the team to get things done efficiently. He also drives the truck responsibly so that your items don't get damaged.
