They had originally placed a lead battery on my vehicle and that was the wrong battery. I need to AGM battery. I got stranded two times on the road because of their professional work ethic. I relied on big O tires to get the right battery and they didn't. I went to big O tires to get an exchange done and they didn't want to credit me for the lead battery until I called corporate and made a claim with them, and all of a sudden all the numbers magically disappeared! They were super rude, pretty much telling me are you gonna pay or not? I had some kind of manager, James Hobbes call me and he just stated that he was really sorry and he just felt bad. Recently went there to get air in my tires(fractured knee). A Hispanic gentleman ( I am also Hispanic) put 55-57 psi in my tires that require only 33 psi. He didn't say one word to me. I told him they take 33. His response let me know he didn't know what I was saying. I go home I checked my tires and low and behold, I have almost 57 psi's. I call and told the person who answered the phone, the situation. He told me the tires will eventually go down in 3-4 hours. I'm not a mechanic, but I'm surely not stupid either. You can't tell me that my tires are going to go from 57 to 33 in the next couple of hours. My dilemma is, I've always loved this place. Everybody has always treated me wonderful. But if you have people working in the garage that can't even put air in a tire I would worry about an oil change or my fluids changed. It's a dilemma for me right now because I've been going there probably over 10 years, it's concerning. read more

While waiting for my car's tires to be replaced, I ate breakfast at a restaurant and when I was finished, I realized I forgot my wallet. After telling the waitress I would be right back I walked back to Big O's and realized my wallet wasn't in my car either. My Big O representative, Patty, promptly gave me cash to pay my waitress. When attempting to use Apple Pay to pay for my tires, it failed, and Patty once again offered to help me out using Zelle. They did not put my locking lug nut back in my car after rotating my tires. When I got a flat tire later that night, it cost me a tow truck and two days an in operable car, sitting in my garage with a flat tire that I could not remove. Helpful and affordable. I took my Lexus to the dealership for a 120,000 mile service, imagine my surprise when they told me it also needed an $1000 repair due to a rusty control arm. I ended up buying the parts from the dealership and having Big O do the repair for a fraction of the cost. I wish I had done the whole service here and never taken my car to the dealership. Shane was helpful and knowledgeable on the phone and took to the time to make me feel like they'd be happy to help me out. needed 2 new tires on the front of my fwd car. rears have +/-75% remaining. called big o and they told me they had my tires. get there and they tell me they need to rotate rear tires to front and place new tires on rear. why? i wanted new tires on front. they said they can't do that. again, why? they have now lost my business forever. fwiw, I called three other reputable shops and all of them had no problem placing the new tires on the front. need tires your way? It's a pretty typical tire shop. I'd probably go back. There's nothing special about this place. Nothing spectacularly bad or good, but probably more good than bad, so they get my 3 stars. I read the reviews and went in here prepared to have a hard-nosed dealing with the shifty mechanics kind of day. They had what I was looking for in stock, they were very close to home, the price was right, so off I went. They were very nice and clear with what they were offering, what was included and what was not. The guy asked us if he could have a couple of hours to throw on the new tires. "Would you like an alignment check? It's free with the tires?" Sure I'd love a free service as long as there are no strings attached! "Go ahead" I said. Home I go, and a call we get, "You have loose ball joints. Would you like us to take care of it for you?" "Nope not yet, we'll be there in 15 minutes though. Keep it on the rack, show me how bad it is, and we might change our minds." We get back to the car parked in the lot. "How was that alignment?" "We stopped checking it after we said your ball joints are loose. We will only ever provide one with a fully sound steering system." "Cool, how long before you can get it on the rack again to show me the ball joints?" "30 minutes or so to clear a bay." "Suit yourself, we'll go without. Thanks." I was kinda displeased that they didn't finish the alignment check to show how bad the car actually was, but then again I didn't expect that heading in anyway. I was slightly irritated that they didn't show us how bad the ball joint was, but I understand that a bay without a promise a paying customer is lost real estate. My real test would've been to check how bad it wobbled on the road while driving anyway, so I wasn't missing much except a visual. I asked for nothing more, and they provided nothing less. Place might be able to provide good tire service But do not have them look at any motor or cooling problems. I took my Hummer there and they said everything was good and within one day the vehicle overheated. I had a mechanic look at it and the vehicle was to the point where I needed a complete motor rebuild They said they felt really bad about it and would like to help me out but at the end of the day they never offered any help!!! I went back there to put tires on a different vehicle of mine but when I went to go pick it up they put on the more expensive ones because they said that's all they had in stock. You would think that they would've made some sort of discount or at least let me know that they don't have the tires that I usually go with I had no option no help so no more business from me!!! I highly recommend Big O Tires on pecos in Denver. We always call to make appointments as we understand how busy they can be. We drop the car or truck off early in the morning and no matter what the problem is They take care of it that day with no Questions. If there is something else that there team notices they call us to talk about what they see and what it will take. We like this cause it saves us on costly repairs down the road. We bought tires for our Ford Escape over a year ago when we recently took it in for an oil change the team noticed that the rear tire was worn very oddly. Since they weren't that old the owner of the company contacted the tire manufacturer and got us a credit on the tires. We are surly glad they offered us a warranty on the tires. Right before closing time on December 23, I stopped into "Big O Tires." My pressure indicator light was on. Due to a family emergency in northern Colorado, I thought it best to have it checked especially on a snowy and icy night. Even though they were a few minutes from closing, they checked my tires, got the air pressure right and I was on my way. I couldn't even imagine buying tires from anyone other than Discount Tires.
