Had the big Nicks burger and it was ok but not $23 in my opinion. The fries were stale. Also had the Da Local Plate, proteins were great. But dammit, I am the kind of Asian that eat rice for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even snack! The rice was so damn undercooked, it still had hard lumps in the grain. The 2 scopes of rice were probably $5? The wife told the young server lady about it and the young man server overheard it and walked over to my wife and told my wife (and I Quote) "it's better eaten that way!" Are you freaking kidding me? You're gonna tell me how rice is better undercooked? If your restaurant is intentionally serves undercooked rice then, dammit, put it on the menu so I don't have to pay for something I won't eat! Did not enjoy the plate lunch here. Very odd. They mix the Mac salad with potato salad. We asked for no rice with macaroni salad instead of rice and the staff did not explain that it is mixed with potato salad and we had to order an extra side of Mac ... doubly disappointing. We ordered a grilled cheese for our son with autism who had textual issues with meat. They said, "I can't accommodate that." We literally begged them to please make a burger with no meat and they finally agreed. Then, they made our additional burger without cheese (when we asked for cheese) and they wanted to charge us for the price of 2 extra burgers to add cheese. I would never recommend this place. There was no customer service at all as far as being sensitive to disabilities. I asked multiple times for them to finally agree to make a grilled cheese for my son. Also, after begging to please give us an extra slice of cheese? They finally brought us out a SLICE OF CHEESE!!!! Again, tried to charge us for an EXTRA BURGER. Disappointed to say the least. Finally got there after a long drive, then we had to wait for a while for the woman to give us any attention.
