When I went to the bathroom there was urine all over the toilet seat and the floor, it was absolutely disgusting. Great local pizza joint. Pie is superb. Crust is crunchy on outside, chewy and light on inside and has a great flavor. Sauce is made from crushed tomatoes not tomato paste so it is not bitter; it is not sweet but savory. Good quality cheese. Family member had spaghetti with meat sauce and she said it was superb as well. Place was packed so it is obvious it is a local favorite. Lots of beer selection from IPAs to standard favorites. Worst service in Brevard!! Always takes over 45 minutes minimum, service is crazy slow, food is decent. Best Philly Steak and Cheese I've had outside of Philly. And the sauce on the wings were out of this world. I believe it was the Thai Chili. We did have quite a wait though. Like 20 min at 1pm. And after we received the wings one of the wings my wife ate where bone cold. It was odd. The rest were outstanding. We stopped in Big Mike's for dinner as we were passing through Brevard. When we arrived, the video games were a little off-putting, but the aromas drew us in. I'm so glad we stayed! I had the spinach manicotti, which was beyond delicious, and the sauce was terrific! My son got the ravioli and it was seriously the biggest we have ever seen! Not that size matters, but my growing 12-yr-old boy actually had leftovers to bring home (as we all did). The spaghetti was awesome, and all the portions are enormous! The kid's spaghetti would easily serve most adults. And the garlic knots-while not especially garlicky, are to die for nonetheless!! Me and my dad got a large pizza and it was pretty good but could have uses some more pizza sauce. It was overall good except for the VERY slow service. We got ordered our drinks and it was about 15 min before we got them, and then they never asked if we wanted a refill until they brought our food. Seriously thinking about buying an insulated pizza carrier so my pizza doesn't get cold on the 13 mile ride home (like the pizza delivery guys have). Cheesesteak & fries: felt like I was home in Philly again. Three Cheese Jumbo Ravioli's with Creamy Tomato Sauce and a side order of garlic knots are fantastic! The garlic knots are dripping with butter, sprinkled with cheese and parsley - delicious. Big Mikes uses high quality cheeses & you can taste the difference. Forget the rest - come to the best! And if you're in Hendersonville there is a 2nd restaurant owned by the family - Mike's Pizza and Pasta. I have not been there yet so can't review them. Just a side note. Owner forbids them to communicate except on order placement. So, ask for no bell peppers and you get bell peppers! Check your to-go order carefully! The food was really good, not mind-blowing, but tasty. Prices were reasonable and portions generous. The service, however, was not good. Five servers could barely handle four tables and my husband and myself seated at the bar. None of our appetizer plates, salad bowls, or empty beer glasses were ever picked up during our meal. We had to chase someone down to order, ended up grabbing our own to-go containers, and had to chase someone down again for the check (after two of the servers watched us boxing up our leftovers). It's not a fast food restaurant so not to surprised that it took a while to get our food. Portions were huge as indicated by others. Although this is normally a plus we had an elderly lady with us that desired to get something off the children's menu. Waitress wouldn't allow it. Although on our last visit to Brevard and Big Mike's they allowed it. Just a bit of an inconvenience as we didn't have a way to take a to go box.
