Opened in 2013 on the grounds of a Paso Robles winery Vina Robles Amphitheatre is described as…read more"boutique," and from the moment one arrives to organized, efficient and free parking it is easy to see this isn't a typical concert venue. Attended for the Avett Brothers & Mike Pattone AVTT/PTTN tour everything about the experience was impressive, from Merch lines and vendors that include wood fired pizza and good coffee to the seating and acoustics. Highly recommended for a more intimate event than what one might find at Santa Barbara bowl or other outdoor venues in California.

Pat Benatar has been on my bucket list for years and I couldn't wait to see her at this outdoor venue! They offer seats closer to the stage and as you move up towards the concession stands you have what are called "lawn" seats which are much cheaper and you bring your own blanket or chairs. I bought amazing seats close to the stage and enjoyed the first few songs before an unruly couple helped themselves to empty seats in between me and another couple. They kept bumping into us until we decided to move yo another row. Here is my beef: when I talked to security about the couple and their behavior they did nothing about it! They would not approach them or ask to see their tickets. It was very hard to enjoy the show after that:( The venue itself is lovely - I love the outdoor space but would I go back after that experience? Well, not to sit near the stage. I would get the cheap lawn area. *Plenty of parking *Several Food Vendors inside

We were looking for lunch, and by luck, we found Niner!…read more First suggestion, if you are going to sample the wines in the CA-64 corridor, MAKE A RESERVATION HERE if you want to eat at a specific time. The place is very busy. We opted for a wine tasting with lunch. They offered 5 wines and proper tasting pours. When we were seated, water was quickly served and we ordered their House-made Sourdough Focaccia which was served with lavender butter and lavender salt. That was very tasty - the lavender butter and salt worked well with the bread. My wife ordered the Duck Confit and I ordered the Bucatini Pasta which featured Mighty Cap Mushrooms. The sauce was very rich and flavorful. The pasta was cooked properly, and the mushrooms were just so good. The Duck Confit was similar - the duck leg was cooked properly, and worked great with the Heirloom tomatos and plum, all of which sat on a wild rice salad. You can skip the wine tasting and order drinks or wine off the menu if you want. Take a moment to walk around the grounds, look up at the ceiling work. They have have a shop with some neat winery stuff. Staff and service were excellent, and the menu and the food were outstanding!

They do not offer complimentary bread service. Bread is on the menu - House made sourdough focaccia with lavender butter. It was so good, totally worth the price. Slight crisp on the outside, spongy interior, but chewy from the sourdough gluten. Hint of sweet in the background. Butter is light and aromatic. This amazing dish is just the bread. Roasted Chicken was tender with a light sauce. Pasta with mushroom sounds simple but it was yummy and perfect. For wine tasting, they offered a complimentary welcome taste of Pino Rose, light and refreshing. The tasting had 4 wines, my favorite was the 2022 Reserve Chardonnay. It was buttery and smooth. The building, scenery of the vineyard hills, and the flower garden were all beautiful.

As part of this weekend of love, the tasting room offered a Zinfandel & Chocolate pairing option...which was very delicious. The 2021 The Defector Zinfandel Reserve was my favorite and the 2022 Skull & Bones Single Vineyard Zinfandel was a close second. The various chocolates (milk & dark blend, 70% cacao with nibs & sea salt, 70% cacao with crushed espresso beans, and classic dark chocolate truffle) each enhance the wine with which they were paired. Our experience was managed by the kind and hospitable Mai - she was friendly and conversational. Her level of service is what prompted us to buy a bottle each of my top two favorites. We look forward to coming back the next time we're in Paso.

We were only one of two parties upon arrival; however, by the time we left there were six or seven parties in the tasting room. We had a reserved couch and two chairs inside the front door, ready to go for us. They not only had the regular tasting; however, they also had a tasting with chocolate pairing. We did one of each. The regular tasting was awesome, and the chocolate pairing tasting was equally as wonderful with that sweet touch. The employee on duty was Mai, and she was a real treat. She was so friendly to every customer in the room, and no matter how busy it got --- she kept everything in line and everything very organized. She even texted me after I left to let me know about my umbrella that I left behind. We ended up leaving with two bottles, and we would definitely return to this tasting room again.
