Pat Benatar has been on my bucket list for years and I couldn't wait to see her at this outdoor venue! They offer seats closer to the stage and as you move up towards the concession stands you have what are called "lawn" seats which are much cheaper and you bring your own blanket or chairs. I bought amazing seats close to the stage and enjoyed the first few songs before an unruly couple helped themselves to empty seats in between me and another couple. They kept bumping into us until we decided to move yo another row. Here is my beef: when I talked to security about the couple and their behavior they did nothing about it! They would not approach them or ask to see their tickets. It was very hard to enjoy the show after that:( The venue itself is lovely - I love the outdoor space but would I go back after that experience? Well, not to sit near the stage. I stopped in to share a bottle of bright, festive Champagne with a friend and immediately understood why this place has such a loyal following. The staff has that rare ability to make you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. Genuine smiles, easy conversation, and hospitality that never feels rehearsed. The interior is a designer's dream--warm, layered, a little smoky, and filled with interesting textures that invite you to slow down and look around. Truth be told, I originally wandered in as a location scout for Alchemyic Artisan, but I happily stayed for the bubbles and the ambiance. The inside tasting room is nicely set up and you can see many bottles on display. The vineyard is beautiful, we were able to get a small Polaris ride tour of the property by Blake the sommelier there. He is very knowledgeable about wine also! He really explained each new tasting he was pouring us and taught me somethings about the vineyard I had never heard of. Wine is such a talent and this place explains it well! The Duck Confit was similar - the duck leg was cooked properly, and worked great with the Heirloom tomatos and plum, all of which sat on a wild rice salad. Slight crisp on the outside, spongy interior, but chewy from the sourdough gluten. Hint of sweet in the background. Butter is light and aromatic. This amazing dish is just the bread. Roasted Chicken was tender with a light sauce. Pasta with mushroom sounds simple but it was yummy and perfect. For wine tasting, they offered a complimentary welcome taste of Pino Rose, light and refreshing. The tasting had 4 wines, my favorite was the 2022 Reserve Chardonnay. It was buttery and smooth. We were only one of two parties upon arrival; however, by the time we left there were six or seven parties in the tasting room. We had a reserved couch and two chairs inside the front door, ready to go for us. They not only had the regular tasting; however, they also had a tasting with chocolate pairing. We did one of each. The regular tasting was awesome, and the chocolate pairing tasting was equally as wonderful with that sweet touch. The employee on duty was Mai, and she was a real treat. She was so friendly to every customer in the room, and no matter how busy it got --- she kept everything in line and everything very organized. She even texted me after I left to let me know about my umbrella that I left behind. We ended up leaving with two bottles, and we would definitely return to this tasting room again.
