I started getting Facebook ads for the classes that are held at this location, which is a retail store, company HQ, culinary center with cooking classes, and a museum. "Smoke on the Porch" seems to happen every Saturday and appears to be free, so we "reserved" two tickets and headed over. No one asked to see the tickets when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised that there were food samples available (and they were good quality) but nothing really going on, on the cooking demonstration front. We've had a Big Green Egg since the fall and use it often for grilling but it's always good to see what else it can do and learn other techniques. We were able to ask some questions about using the rotisserie accessory and also purchase a couple of cookbooks for new ideas of things we can do. Some of the employees were very pushy about making sales, perhaps a little over hospitable which is not our preferred style. I could see this being a great experience if you are looking for something a little more hands on. The classes are quite expensive but apparently include a lot of food as well, so I guess that could make it worthwhile. The company has done an excellent job of branding itself and creating a very loyal following. We are not die hards but good to know if we ever have an issue with the grill that we can come here for support, advice, etc. Lots of free parking right out front. read more

So we have 3 grills , one being a large green egg with full wooden kitchen and like a marble tile top on right side. We have enjoyed it for several years at a price of over $1800.00. Recently we bought a new Green Egg "cover" large from Mad Hatter in Alpharetta Ga . ($106.00). It was suppose to be for the large table top . Green Egg is know for the quality of all they sell . So we thought the same with the grill covers. Drove home over 20 miles away turned out it would not fit even though the photos showed a similar wooden table and said large on box.. and the thing that really got us was it was absolute garbage. The grill cover was cheap, strings hanging out all over, flimsy and light weight.. wow Green Egg shame on you. Hook up with a better company to make your covers maybe even the "Expert Grill" cover company. Way better, heavier and stand up for years as on our other 2 grills! I cannot understand why you would sell such garbage of a cover and other ones of better quality are half the price! All we can say is WOW ! Hope your CEO stands by his warranty on his Green Eggs! read more

The Big Green Egg is not a place to eat unless you attend one of their classes. The know how to teach and they will make sure you will eat. They have several classes for various levels of expertise or lack there of. You may come in not knowing a lot, but if you pay attention you can learn some things. I do not have a big green egg yet, but I am certainly putting it on my wish list for this year and every year until I get one. There is a shop where you can pick up utensils, seasonings and of course the Big Green Eggs themselves. Make sure if you have one to take at least one of their classes. read more

purchased a xxl big green egg my third or fourth back brackets broke and have tried to PURCHASE a new part the customer service (Duane) at Big Green Egg tells me the part was installed incorrectly and they say they wont sell me a part because i dont have the receipt probably over a year ago (now who keeps receipts of stuff like this over a year??) lousy customer service and frankly attitude i keep asking to Pay For The Part - not warranty but ol Duane just wont even sell me a part DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT ITS GREAT BUT THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE read more

Well, don't get this as a gift for someone or their warranty is void without a reciept. I got one as a gift and have had numerous things break. Nothing is covered and everything is expensive. I could have purchased another more humble grill at this point. If you do get it for someone as a gift, make sure to give them the receipt or it is void. Also, do not lose the reciept, or once again lifetime warrant is void. One last thing, do not buy it from an unauthorized dealer or guess what? Warranty void. Super expensive for such an exclusionary warranty. read more

I enjoy cooking with the egg, but I have had a few issues that the dealer is unable to answer. Despite several emails and phone messages, no one from the green egg company has responded to my requests. It's very frustrating that a company does not provide customer support to a relatively expensive product. This ongoing issue of non- responsiveness will eventually catch up with them, as sales will predictably decline. Too bad, it's a decent product but management seems to not care. read more

I have two big green eggs and have had a couple warranty issues, and my original dealer is out of business. No problem for them, very nice and professional people that took care of me Quick. I had emailed a picture and called them and they promptly replied and knew me when I got there. Even though the Big Green Egg is not, strictly speaking, a dining establishment, it is a world class place to eat if you are willing to work! The Boot Camp course I took was a crash course in using the Big Green Egg grills, cooking, ingredients. All instructors are specialty professionals for each item. Thirty students taught by 10 processional chefs make eight dishes during an 8 hour class. Grilling and smoking ribs, hams, salmon. We made pizzas, deserts, breakfast biscuits. It is a multicourse, 8 hours of cooking, then sampling items made by the class. We broke into three 10 person teams to grill, make jambalaya, pies, and pizzas. I learned not only how to cook, but how to control grilling heat including multi-hour smoking and steaks. I also learned how to use wood and salt planks. The recipes are included. There is plenty of opportunity to shop for the Green Egg and the multitude of accessories. I got this as a Christmas Present and am now an acolyte in the Big Green Egg Cult! I highly recommend this as a crash course in cooking, a fun day of great dining as well! This is absolutely a world class experience! Book in advance, as the multitude of courses are popular, as listed on the Big Green Egg website. Though most participants are local to Atlanta, many others came from all over the US. They also pitched local farm products, all by the owners who are passionate themselves. read more

I own a Big Green Egg XL and enjoy the grill. However, recently the ring that holds the bottom of the grill up broke (a bolt sheared) causing the bottom of the egg to fall to the ground and break. I sent a letter to Big Green Egg headquarters and spoke with their customer service. I received no response to my letter and customer service told me that it was my fault and that it wouldn't be covered under warranty. I find it troubling that this company claims no ownership in a defective part causing my grill to break. read more

DO NOT CHOSE BIG GREEN EGG! We ordered 13 grill packages back in April 2020 from their online store for a customer contest and we still don't have everything delivered in SEPTEMBER!!! I've called and emailed customer service over 200 times now, have left so many voicemails and have not received ONE SINGLE response from anyone at this company! I do not want to go out of my way to bad mouth Big Green Egg, but I don't understand how you stay in business if you don't take care of your customers! I'm a Big Green Egg fanatic. During an Easter trip to Atlanta, we thought this would be a great place to spend some time. Some is the word. There is nothing here. Small retail store with employees that make you feel like you're breaking up their time to play video games on their phone. It is actually a beautiful space with a cooking demonstration area. There was suppose to be a cooking class with a radio show, but nada. So if you need some gear that you don't want to order online stop by. Not worth the trip though otherwise. read more

The grill is really a nice grill. The customer support is awful. I've had the BGR for over 14 years and contacted them several times via there only support means: email. Iv'e never ever received a response back. And yes, I've checked my spam mail. I have a completely indisputable legitimate gripe with one of therir products; a grill cover with the logo printed upside down! and backwards !!!! The actual store was kind of hard to find though because it looks like a corporate building from the highway. It might be helpful if they had a sign or something saying it was the retail store.
