Great venue, nice menu, great food but very slow service. Took 15 minutes for server to come to our table after immediate seating. Drinks ordered, but before they arrived waitress returned for food order. Drinks arrived almost same time as food. Moneys in the liquor folks. Drinks should be on the table almost before I seat myself. We won't be in a hurry to return. read more

Had a great time here - awesome brews, food, service, atmosphere! Loved it all! They have music here as well although we weren't able to check that out this trip. Hopefully next time! read more

If you like falafel, you'll this falafel wrap‼ just the right amount of crunch with the cucumbers and onions and grilled like a crunch wrap from Taco Bell. Soooooo delicious I'd give it 10 stars read more

Great food with fresh new ideas, tasty beers, attentive servers, clean and cool inside and outdoor seating. Flights available. A must visit if in the area. read more

Aimée and I spent New Years climbing Mt Washington - well, attempted. Weather warmed up and we couldn't get to the top ... but as consolation we spent NYE at Big Day. Our visit was covered by Kelly and Christian as a wedding present ... and did not disappoint! Aimée had two orders of the Brussel Sprouts, and we shared the Poutine, which not only had deep fried cheese curds, but also a terrific horseradish sauce. The chili was delicious; it's spicy, so make sure you're ready for that. I am not a fan of IPAs, which there are many on tap. I did have their lager which was excellent. Highly recommend, and we'll be back (on our own dime) when we attempt to summit Mt Washington again. read more

I wanted a soft pretzel with beer cheese and mustard. But this was a brewery... and they only offered a set of three pretzels with spicy mustard. NO BEER CHEESE. Ahem. Let me say that again. A brewery that has pretzels, but no beer cheese. So, the ambiance on a holiday weekend, early afternoon was one of chaos; a cacophony of little children's shouted wishes and desires, as a number of big tables of families were all there at once, and everyone in the place needed to yell over the music playing too loudly "in the background." We were a table of two adults, and had to resort to texting each other to communicate. Staff tried hard to please, but it seemed like the kitchen must have been slammed. Service was dreadfully slow. The fries were delightful, but the Rail Trail smashburger ($16) was disappointingly mushy, drippy and underseasoned. The bun gave up and disintegrated before I was done taking bites, because of the liquid dripping from the flavorless, textureless burger. The waitress was pretty efficient at delivering the bill. My dining partner said the hype of the CABOT Vermont (we were in NH) cheese in the menu description of the sandwich he ordered was the only hint that he got that there was even any cheese IN that sandwich. He was as disappointed with his Hot Maple sandwich ($18) as much as I was with my Rail Trail choice. We were on the road, and each only drank three dollar cans of seltzers water. read more

Good food-great beer! Beautiful drive and gets you out of the over done tourist areas to the south. Try the smashed maple cheese burger!

A must-stop if you're in the area. There is plenty of room, great light, and good drinks. The real show stopper for us was their brussel sprout dish with maple syrup and black pepper aioli. We all may have licked the bowl. read more

Good beer, good severs but food took about 2 hrs- we weren't informed that there would be a delay and ended up having to wait well after we wanted to for our food. The kitchen is too small to accommodate the amount of people they can hold. If you're looking for a quick beer be prepared to wait or go to a location in North Conway. read more

Awesome food, awesome music, friendly people. Can't wait until next time I can stop in!

Beer was tasty, the service was perfect and the food was delicious and unique. The brewery itself was large and airy with both indoor and outdoor options. Would I return? I wouldn't hesitate. read more

Gorham is a great little town, and it now has a great little brewery. Excellent beers can be found here - smooth, crisp lager, a stout that's delicious (as someone who doesn't often choose stouts), and solid other selections. Food is also next level - surprisingly good wings (ask for well done), burgers and sliders. Overall, it's well-run, has great food and beer and a great vibe. It is week one so they're still working out a few logistical kinks. You have to order beers at the bar, but can order food from the table, for instance. Highly recommend. read more

Excellent food, maybe the best brewery food I've had. Beer is delicious. Service is outstanding, and very accommodating for energized kiddos. Whatever the Michelin star is for breweries is, give it to these folks! Thank you Big Day! read more

I came here for dinner and a beer after a day in the mountains. It was awesome! The hostess, Maria, was so sweet (even shook my hand)! My waitress was the perfect amount of attentive, and the two young men that brought food and a beer over were also very nice. Beer - great. White mountain slider - best I've ever had! Sweet potato taco - also amazing, so much flavor. There was even live music which was a bonus! I highly recommend this place for hikers, couples, and families coming through the area! read more

What a great find. Driving around Northern New Hampshire taking in the foliage and stopped at this busy brewery. Great beer , delicious food! Burger, fish and chips, Brussel sprouts etc really good. Prices were also low, mixed drinks $10. Friendly staff. Spacious inside and out. Took home some ipas to enjoy later. Best French fries ! read more

Stopped in for a quick app and beverage. We shared the Gorham Gobi which is the best thing ever. (Is it tacky to ask for a straw to slurp up the sauce?) I'm not beer drinker and wasn't expecting to like the red wine, but it was also really delicious. Husband had the Night Ride Stout and gave it 10/10. The Gobi is 20/10! I wish we lived closer. read more

Big Day Brewing - Legit Lager - Breweries Near Me - Gorham, New Hampshire

It's New York City north of notches high priced smug service this place is emblematic of what happens when capitalism comes North and paves an acre of land and builds something so out of place it is grotesque. On a lighter note the over priced beer and food is OK. The design of the place is a nightmare, but don't take my word for it go visit. There are several great choices for food in Gorham where you can get great service, good food and fair price pass this place by. Say no to Wall Street invading the North Country, there is plenty of that in North Conway. read more

Average food but really good beer, great space and very friendly staff and patrons. I had the black bean quinoa burger which was a bit too mushy and a bit too small for the bun. The beers were quite good (drank a porter) and I would go back for one if in the area. A number of people came in to order canned beers to go while I was there which is usually a good sign of quality. The interior space is very well done and works for groups or solo. read more

Burgers and beer are great. I really liked the west coast IPA. The tacos were giant and I like the creativity of the sweet potato taco too. Service was good and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I will definitely try to make it back here again soon. read more

They have great beer and above average food that doesn't always get to you at the right temperature. The outside dining is a nice addition. The place can get busy with long waits, but it's a serve yourself bar so you don't have to wait for the staff to bring you drinks. read more

Awesome place! Delicious food, great wait staff, great music line up. We had a blast!

Went after a family visit to Santa's Village last weekend. Great spot. Our server was awesome. The beer was good. For food my burger was very good and the fries were great. Would definitely comeback next trip to Santa's Village. read more

A good selection of craft brew in a new business in Gorham. Friendly staff and tasty apps.

Great food and drink for a day out after ski/whatever. Cool place with modern inside, space for small or big groups. Amazing beer, and the servers were kind and helpful. I will stop by when in town again. read more

Been here twice after hiking, both experiences were really disappointing. The service is simply terrible. I want to like the place, hence the 2nd trip, but it didn't improve. The food is reasonable and the beer is good. The physical location looks nice and new. Both times our orders were messed up in different ways, between servers forgetting our food, bringing the wrong stuff, or dropping off french fries and leaving us with no condiments. Place has potential, and I really wanted to like it, but it just has atrocious service. Hopefully they can work those kinks out. read more

Fish Tacos need major improvement. Bad combo of flavor. Please do some researching and find a better recipe. I think they had sauerkraut on them, no sauce, dry. Really, they are not good. I wish I had sent them back. read more

The beer is good but a really good cocktail at a brewery is crazy. Get the old fashioned with a side of churros, trust me. They have live music and the staff are super friendly. The beer is decent and really can't go wrong but the star of the show is the ambiance. read more

Sorry for the poor review, but I've frequented many restaurants with poor food but great service. This place had good food but very poor service. We waited for quite a bit to get our drink order in. Finally got it placed and a little while passed when we got our drinks. No problem. Then it took awhile for the server to take our order but finally that happened. I completed my beer while waiting for our food order to arrive. Our server walked by numerous times, but never stopping to ask if I'd like another beer. Finally I flagged her down and ordered my 2 nd beer. A little while passed when our food finally arrived. I'm still ok with everything but then I dared to ask for a side of mayonnaise and hot sauce! It was as if I was asking to get my car waxed while I dine! My server told me...."I think we have Mayo but not sure about hot sauce" I figured, ok I can live without hot sauce , but Mayo for my burger and fries is a must. Well I waited 10 mins after my food was delivered, still no Mayo or hot sauce so I started to eat my already cold slider and fries. Finally a sign of hope. A runner comes towards me with a small cup. I'm certain it's Mayo but no...... it's just hot sauce. Before I could even ask " where's the Mayo", the runner was gone. I completed my meal, had to flag down the server to get the check and when she finally asked if everything was ok? I replied " never got my Mayo". She then proceeded to tell me that she needs to put a ticket in for Mayo and apparently they didn't have any. Then she said something to the effect that management doesn't always listen to recommendations after I suggested they get squeeze bottles of Mayo similar to the catsup bottles they have to round out the basic condiment offering. At this point I was too frustrated to even ask to talk to a manager, thus if they even bother to read this I suggest you ask your sales rep for squeeze bottles of mayonnaise to accompany the condiment offering. Who doesn't have mayonnaise?? The server didn't really seem to care what I thought , but in the end I was disappointed, thus won't be back . read more

Had one of there pork rice bowls. Was flavorless and disappointing. Beer was good though. Don't recommend for tacos either. Maybe a burger.

Got the fried chicken sandwich, food was cold when we got it, the coleslaw they said was house made def wasn't and it didn't even have hardly any dressing on it. We also had chips and salsa. The salsa was flavorless. Tasted like watered down tomatoes. I would have rather gone to McDonald's. Don't waste your time or money. The service was ok. Although she could have paid more attention to the kitchen. Our food sat on the counter for almost 10 minutes before getting it. There were only two other people in there besides me. The only good thing about the place is the atmosphere. I didn't care for the chairs. They were uncomfortable and small. Had to backs or arms, they were just stools. read more
