They had Wi-Fi, which allowed me to get some work done, and I ordered an espresso while I was there. It was excellent! The shots were clearly pulled perfectly, with no bitter or overly acidic taste. The espresso was incredibly smooth, rich, and flavorful. It was so good that as soon as I finished it, I ordered another one. The space is fairly small, so seating is limited, but the quality of the coffee more than makes up for it. The atmosphere has an industrial-modern, no-frills feel. Rusty Cup Cafe is clearly a business that is focused on making exceptional coffee--and it absolutely shows. I will definitely stop here again the next time I'm in Astoria!
