I was in for a reward and didn't even know it at the time. The shop is small but had a plethora of goodies. Some were chilled in the fridge and others were on the shelves but not stocked with a high quality just even to run out and make more the next day ( which the owner told me he does). I tried samples of the banana pudding which was rich and whipped so creamy, an Oreo banana pudding ( my personal favorite), a some chocolate and a some cake. Everything was fresh you could taste it, no preservatives no dyes it was so refreshing. I believe I talked to the owner for about 15-20 minutes while enjoying and taking in this little gem.

Salted Caramel...by far the best I've ever had! BIG PLUS...I left my wallet there and didn't discover it until after getting home (2 hr drive!). At the time I was there there were only 2 alternate choices to dairy: mango sorbet & lemon poppyseed frozen dessert. Since I can get the mango at most grocery stores I went with the lemon poppyseed. Good choice as the lemon provides a zesty punch. The base of this non-dairy "ice cream" is coconut milk. Not because they told me, but because I can taste the coconut. Also, there are some teenie tiny nuggets of coconut oil (Remember coconut "oil" is solid at room temperature). I got a single scoop. However, it's large. Sitting in an 8 oz cup in such way to require a domed lid. Much, much tastier than your average lemon poppyseed muffin. Those are seem to be artificially flavored and bitter. If I'm buying a poppyseed muffin I go with almond ones. In addition to my surprisingly good "ice cream", the store sells oddles of candies. Lots of good chocolate. I picked up a novelty candy purchase, a tin of Bob Ross, happy little tree mints. That's a semi-gag gift for my BFF. Nice place to wander around & bring some sweetness to your day.

Just know going in, it's not cheap but most of us shopping in there were probably tourists and how often do we get a chance to shop in this type of store. It's in Cannon Beach so I'm sure that makes it a tiny bit more expensive. I did not get any taffy but they had so many different yummy sounding flavors. You also get to watch them make some of it. We spent about $20. I'm a Dots fan so I got some watermelon flavored. Also got some little coconut almond haystacks and some mint cookie malt balls. The haystacks were ok but the malt balls were delicious. Nice minty flavor and the malt ball was nice and fresh and not hard like some I've tried. Nice little place to treat yourself while on vacation or in the area.
