Seems to be locally owned & operated. Always pretty busy at lunch. I ordered the 3pc chicken w/no fries. The chicken was hot & cooked really good. It could have been fried a little harder, but still it was good. Tho, the breading had ZERO seasoning. No salt, no pepper just flour. You better ask for hot sauce if you want some flavor. I ordered the 1/2 gizzard lunch w/fries yesterday. The fries were steak cut fries & good. Just your average steak fries, nothing special. Tho, the portions were huge. The gizzards were just AWFUL. Again, ZERO SEASONING. It's the oddest thing not to season your chicken or breading before you fry it. Good customer service. Clean inside and out. The cooks just need to add some salt, pepper & garlics powder to the chicken & flour. read more

3 stars is about right... There aren't many great options in this area for food in my opinion, but I decided to stop here because it was new to me. The establishment is no frills, but the service was friendly. I was welcomed immediately upon entering the restaurant. There's plenty of parking and they have a drive thru. I placed an order for a 3 piece chicken combo with fried okra. My food was ok. It appeared to be fresh and was served hot, but it lacked seasoning. read more

Big Chic is a local favorite. Literally been coming since a child, but honestly it is a hit or miss. I'm just gonna drop some stuff below: -Hotdogs are deep fried & GOOD AF; slaw dog is my go to -Slaw is good; best in Forsyth hands down -Catfish is always good; actually sells out -Always clean; love sitting in without the lunch crowd -Drive thru mic doesn't work so you do everything at the window -Prices aren't bad, but it can add up, but they do have family deals for big orders -Gizzards/Livers/Fish cooked to order read more

Jan 3, 2023 I have visited the Big Chic location in the city of Forsyth, GA quite a few times since we moved here in mid 2021. I have only ordered inside, and not from the drive thru. I've always received good service, even when they are very busy, which is most of the time. It's one of the very few places I can actually purchase livers and gizzards close by. Most Big Chic locations don't make them. If you are ordering the livers and gizzards ask them to cook them tender vs the normal longer cook time. The livers come out perfectly tender. The gizzards are decent and takes care of my craving when it hits. The batter on the gizzards are very crispy. Unfortunately I've yet to find a place that truly knows the process of preparing and cooking a great gizzard like my favorite place in Louisiana. They were as tender as cooked livers. The batter on the livers is very light which let's the full flavor of the livers stand out. The chicken tenders have the perfect level of breading and are much larger than most. They have always been cooked to perfection. As with pretty much all chicken tenders the flavor is in the sauces. Our favorite is the honey mustard. We all like the cole slaw. The macaroni and cheese is very cheesy and creamy with pretty good flavor. The dinner rolls are Wonder Bread rolls. No option for 3.5 stars, so 4 it is. read more

This was my first time at this location, I have been to different Big Chics in different locations around Georgia. When I'm near a Big Chic I try to stop in for my chicken fix. There isn't one anywhere near my house. These Big Chics remind me of the old chicken places of yesterday, crispy and delicious! I ordered the twelve piece chicken with a large order of fried okra. The okra taste like homemade just like the delicious chicken. The only thing that was disappointing today was they were out of the fried apple pies. They are to die for, just like grandma's fried apple pies. Nothing fancy just the best chicken spot in Georgia! read more

Went to Big Chick drive through in Forsyth. Outside menu says 9 piece with fries is $18.35 but when you get to the window it jumps up to $21. Plus tax. False advertisement. read more

The food was amazing, the restaurant is filled to the absolute maximum, the service was fast and efficient, and the ambiance is definitely feeling of a small yet busy restaurant that takes care of its staff. read more

Big Chic - Buffalo Wrap - Southern Near Me - Forsyth, Georgia

Food was good. Service was fast. Ambiance was basic, no thrills. I go there every time I'm in Forsyth.

We got 4 chicken filet sandwiches. They were either old or just cooked to death. That's twice in a months time..$50 bux worth of food...very disappointing. read more

If you're looking for good quick service and inexpensive, this is it. Big Chic has been around for years in various locations in Middle GA. I stop at this one on my way back to Atlanta. Today was busier than usual due to a birthday party. Party of 30... I want to commend the girls running the registers and preparing the orders. They moved so fast and efficiently that I was amazed. Everyone was satisfied and pleased with their meal. Chicken gizzards are a favorite here and yelp you guessed it I too ordered gizzards . They were fried tender and seasoned to perfection. This Full order with fries will set you back $5.95. The Cole slaw is delicious . The dining area is clean, condiments full on each table. There are 20 tables for seating. If you're in the area, stop by! You're going to love it read more

went again after a long while not going at 3 pm on a Friday and this time chicken was dried out and had to have been sitting fries were warm only from heat lamp but they was better than the chicken ... I won't be going back for a long time read more

Do not be confused. This location has no affiliation with Big Chic in Jackson. I visited the Big Chic in Forsyth. The fried chicken was meh. The ambiance was non-existant. I have been to the Big Chic in Jackson many times as I travel between Gwinnett County and Macon. Everything is fresh and delicious! I usually order 2 breasts, fries and cole slaw and they are all very good. There is no dining room. One stands outside and orders at the window. I eat in my car which has a better ambiance than Big Chic in Forsyth. And my car has better music. It is worth the drive from Forsyth to Jackson for the real deal. read more

Big chic is not the same as back in the day. The chicken was not hot and lacked flavor. The okra were good and hot as they were prepared to order. No greeting from the workers.....not even a friendly smile. This wouldn't be an establishment I frequent. read more

I ordered chicken livers and fries. They were cooked to order and perfectly cooked. Will return when in the area next.

Best fast food fried chicken in Forsyth! I haven't been inside but the staff in the drive thru are always very friendly

I decided to try this place out because of the good experience I had at the Talbotton location. It was not as good, but it wasn't terrible. I ordered the fried chicken gizzards, grilled lemon pepper chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes. I got a lemonade to drink because they did not have bottled water as an option. The fried chicken gizzards were cooked to order and were ok. Nothing greatly seasoned. The grilled tenders could have used a bit more lemon pepper. The macaroni and cheese seemed overcooked. The mashed potatoes were cool; there's not many ways you can mess mashed potatoes up :). They had rolls with the meals. My entire order was about $15. The service was ok. The place was clean. Very casual ambiance. Free parking is available. They have a drive thru. It's wasn't good enough for me to say I'd go back. :/ I've had better at other locations. read more

Need to expand the fry station so the food can be fresh.. walked in had chicken and French fries piled to the ceiling... seems like the business is ran in by someone that's old and out of touch. They are also lacking on cleanliness. read more

The food was great and the service even better! Loved the food. The chicken was so crispy and light. Hot and ready to eat!!

Young employees are not helpful act like they don't care and are not hygiene oriented for food service. One girl maybe 17, scratches her head constantly and bites he nails at the register and hands you your drinks and food without washing hands. I like big chick food but won't return to this location. read more

Went through the drive through, it's broken you have to order at the window, okay no problem... pull to the window & order Country Fried Steak "uhh no you gotta come inside to order that!" Okay? What CAN I order in the drive through? "Uhh chicken?" ....should have left but went inside & ordered Country fried steak "nope we ain't got that no more." Okay girl, spit your gum out while you're talking to a customer.... won't return, won't even turn my head in this direction. read more

Ordered buffalo fries, which is not on the menu boards- it's awesome! Would give 5 stars, but this fast-food restaurant took 20 minutes to get food. There was only 6 other people in the restaurant and our cashier complained to the kitchen about our wait. read more

The 1st google review showed this place with a 4.1 review. That was terribly inaccurate. They advertise freshly cooked when ordered when you go to the drive thru. I decided to go in just to get out of the car. 1st thing I see was a big thing of chicken getting old in the window and fries. One of the young lady's behind the counter was more worried about one of her friends who were standing in the lobby getting her some cigarettes. Absolutely no customer service. I don't think I can put all I saw in to words... it's definitely not worth it. I gave them a 2 for the slaw dog. It wasn't bad after I worked myself up to taste it the way it was served it looked nasty. read more

First off, large steak fries are HUGE, I suggest a small order. Chicken tenders were also huge; they could have cut them smaller as they were rather large to try and bite into. With all of that said, everything was fresh, hot, and yummy.... I have heard that that isn't always the case at this location, however my experience was good. read more

The chicken tenders are soooo tender and good, the service is alright, but the food is great! Very reasonable and very filling, especially if you are in the road it's a great stop and close to the highway and will keep you full for quite some time! read more

Amazing Chicken, customer service is always on point. It's a very casual restaurant but we've come to really enjoy the tenders or the 2 pc meal. The drive thru is one you have to pull up to the window to order but they still manage to be really fast and always give ample food that has been delicious always. Love their fried okra, the wings, the tenders, fried chicken and thick steak fries. read more

I have eaten her several times in the past few years and the quality has gone way down. Ordered a burger , it had NO seasoning whatsoever and then gave me a stale bun. I also ordered the 3 piece chicken dinner and the meat was dried up on the bone. The lemonade was mostly sugar water with no lemon flavor. read more

This place sucks. No flavor and it's rarely fresh. Always under heat lamp. And don't try to show up 30-45 minutes before they close because you can only order what is under the heat lamps. No service no flavor no good. read more

The food is basic fast fried. It's particularly good. And it has to be because this place is SLOW. I wouldn't call it fast food. It's more like pokey food. Slower than a rabbit, but like the turtle it wins the race? Anyhow, we call ahead and get it go to. read more

What a dismal place!!! A bunch of us showed up there for lunch today and after two cold days hunting we wanted some good, hot food. It was at least as cold inside as it was outside, and it was probably still in the 50s. When one of us mentioned the temperature to the lady working the counter she asked us of we had been hunting. When we told her that we had she told us, "Y'all ought to be used to the cold." There was no soap in the mens restroom and when I turned the light on in the restroom the fan was SOOO loud. I needed to use the restroom but actually walked out and went to the nearby WalMart after lunch. There was one gentleman waiting for a drink refill while we ordered and he just went back to sit down because it took too long for them to serve him. All I can say is that this place will close down soon after Zaxbys comes to town. read more
