This is a really great Mexican hole in the wall. Service was quick and we ordered our food to go. The lady that took our order was nice and polite. My wife got the steak burrito bowl and I got the fried pork burrito. For drinks we tried the horchata and picked up a slice of their Tres Leche cake. We also tried all of their sauces, queso, and salsa. The sauces weren't that great in my opinion and the salsa didn't have good flavor and was a little watered down. The queso was pretty good though and i recommend that to go with their chips. The steak in the bowl tasted decent and the whole bowl together was really good. It was presented in the to go container really well. We recommend trying this. The fried pork tasted really good in the burrito. It was a little sweet but also a little crunchy and I was addicted to it. The whole burrito was delicious, only downside was it got really greasy by the time we got home to eat. I still highly recommend this but have plenty of napkins lol. The horchata was top tier. You could taste the rice a bit and it was a little sweet, really well balanced flavors. The tres leches cake tasted a little generic. The cake itself was a little moist but not fully like it should be. The food was delicious as usual. I stopped in for lunch and got the lunch special of meat, two sides and cornbread. It was hot and fresh. I chose the picadillo, collards, and green beans. From the outside you might think it only serves Mexican food but at lunchtime they have country cooking as well as Mexican and wings. I love this place! read more

Had I not read the rave reviews before seeing this place, we probably wouldn't have stopped. It's attached to a gas station in a not very attractive or inviting building. Don't let this stop you! It's a small venue, probably less than 8 tables, very clean. But, oh, the food! Chips and salsa were brought out first and then our orders. The combo plate for my husband and the chicken quesadilla combo for me. Both very good. Some of the best rice I've had in a Mexican restaurant. The lady who delivered our food ( one of the owners) told us that on Wednesdays they offer a buffet with both Mexican and American food. I been meaning to hit this place up while I was in town for work. The high reviews had me curious. This place is located in the same parking lot as the gas station (Shell). Parking is very very limited. I actually had to park on the side to the gas pumps as there was no available parking in front of the restaurant. I will say this place is definitely a hole in the wall. Dining area is very limited and most customers there was grabbing to go. There was a super friendly front desk employee that was super helpful. I ordered the nachos with steak and the Steak (Platter combo) that came with tortillas, beans, and Mexican rice. I requested a ton of green and red salsa. The red salsa is very very hot. The green salsa is mild. The nachos were unbelievable delicious!! Probably the best I have ever had. It came with con queso, frijoles, tomatoe, crema, jalapenos, cheese, onions, tomatoes, cheese, and avocados. The steak platter was okay, but the Mexican rice and beans were very good surprisingly. Portions are generous and the price is great for the quality of food here. I can't wait to come back and try other stuff on the menu. Today I came In for the first time there finally open. It was lunch time and few are sitting eating. They food ready you can pick already to go. It was fried pork chops, rice, beans, veg, Salisbury steaks and so on. So I order some food to go. I order chicken quesadillas, steak tacos, tamale. Everything was really good! The tacos was a lot of meat and tender, chicken in the quesadillas was big chunks and good size I was only able to eat half, I save the tamale for my husband. He like it but the pork has red and spicy sauce and gave him heart burn. Oh well! Maybe next time we need to try the chicken tamale. read more

Definitely worth the quick trip off the interstate! We were heading south on I-95 and I was searching ahead on Yelp for a midday meal, when I found La Pasadita Cafe. We pulled in and Jo gave me the look about this place being "one of my Yelp picks" as the exterior is a plain block store front adjoining a gas station. The interior was plain as well with counter service and about 8-10 tables. We quickly scanned the menu, Jo (my wife) asking about the tamales which they were sold out of. I order 3 different tacos, a chicken, asada (steak) and their el pastor. Jo went with the steak burrito and we ordered our normal unsweetened iced teas. The counter/hostess/server brought us complementary chips and red salsa and plus two other salsas (a hot red and mild green sauce). Our food came out quickly. My tacos were very good with the chicken being my favorite (each having a nice sized serving of meat) on flour tortillas and a side of radishes (they are served traditional style). Jo's burrito was big and beefy and she happily used a large amount of the green sauce to down it and we were on our way. Food 4.25 The food is very good, but it's not your OH! So Good! We placed our order using the online portal listed on the website. The location closes at 9 and we would be arriving at 8:40pm to stay in the area while driving home from vacation. We submitted the order at 8:20 to allow them time to prepare and not hold anyone up from leaving at 9pm. We arrived at 8:35 having paid through the app listed on their website and expecting to pick up the $80 of food we ordered. We were told the order was never "received" although we had a receipt and were charged for the order. They basically just said they didn't get the order and to call the app for a refund. Fortunately when we called we did get the pending charge released quickly but DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS RESTAURANT......they will not honor the order and you are left to clean up the mess. read more

This little restaurant shares a space with a Citgo gas station but don't let that fool you. It is very inexpensive and delicious. Their chile Arbol hot sauce is delicious too. Don't judge a book by its cover couldn't be more applicable. These could quite possibly be the best tacos I have ever had, and I have had a lot of tacos. I love three things: biscuits, doughnuts, and Mexican food. So naturally, I eat a lot of all three. And these tacos are incredible! If I lived closer, then I would be here weekly.
