It goes without saying, they have great authentic mexican food, plus some less authentic for those that are not purists. Weather I'm the only customer in the restaurant or they are totally slammed they always have time to be super friendly. Amazing food. Comes out in less than 5 minutes. It's a very cozy spot and feels very welcoming. They have amazing rice and beans.

It was ok. We all enjoyed our dishes. Chips were ok. Margarita (pitcher) tasted a lot like mixture not a lot of tequila flavor. Ambiance ok, service ok. Considering it was ok there were a lot of people eating here. I had the chicken flautas- comes with refried beans and rice. Friend had a burrito and other two in our party of four had a combo each. We all pretty much cleaned our plates but that's because we are good eaters ;) There are other Mexican places to try in Eatonton and Milledgeville. My husband and I have eaten here before, but tonight was the first time I ordered takeout. Wasn't super busy at the time(a little before 5pm). Ordered when I got there as I didn't know what I wanted. Food was mediocre. There are limited options on a Monday night, so we ventured here from Lake Sinclair. We ordered 2 medium Don Julio margaritas and when the bill came, that was much more than expected, we noticed the margaritas were $22 EACH! 1) you can have the same drink for half that anywhere around (see El Amigo-Milly, which was closed this Presidents Day) 2) if you were going to charge DOUBLE the cost of your meal, wouldn't you provide a heads up to the patron? 3) when politely asked about the cost, wouldn't you address it? Delicious! Had takeout from here on Friday night. Chips were nice and thick and not oily. Salsa and queso were flavorful with a little bit of spice (not too much at all). Fajitas and enchiladas verdes were great. Good portion sizes, great prices, will definitely come again. read more

So we were staying at The Lodge and decided to walk to the restaurant for dinner. Sort of a laughable moment when we noticed that it was attached to the BP gas station. We all ordered something different and all walked away quite happy. I had the Carne Asada which was really good, another in our group had some sort of fish dish that they said was great and another had the Chilies rellienos which he also said was good. Chunky Guacamole was excellent and the house salsa and chips were good and plentiful. Margaritas are off the hook good and the service was prompt, friendly and efficient. We will go back. read more

This is the quintessential hole in the wall, dive restaurant. Drive up to the BP gas station and see the sign for a Mexican restaurant. Walk through the door and you're greeted by a friendly staff. Sit down and then you are greeted by nice chips that are a little on the thick side, perfect in my book, which is then used as a vehicle to transport the delicious salsa to your mouth. If you'd rather use them to transport cheese dip or guacamole, go ahead because they are just as delicious as the salsa! On to the waitstaff that is always eager to help answer questions. The food here is delicious and there is lots to choose from, but you have got to get there either early or later in the evening or you are going to be waiting!
