Lobster ravioli with caviar

Fabulous food and impeccable service! Chef went above and beyond to accommodate child with celiac. Wait staff was delightful.

Food was really great, quality and quantity was great considering it being located at the Ritz. Outdoor seating was well covered and ventilated.

Beautiful dinner spot at the Ritz! There's indoor seating, bar seating and outdoor seating in their heated patio that overlooks the lake. Great variety of Italian dishes. The concierge told us they didn't have any reservations for the evening but we went to the restaurant around 7pm and they had plenty of tables open so definitely stop in even if you can't get a reservation! Great for breakfast too - $35 dollar buffet or you can order specific entrees off the menu.

Such a fun and delicious restaurant- we came here for breakfast and the portions were way larger than we expected. The service was very kind and they were super knowledgeable about the food. The tea and coffee was also delicious. I got the uova in purgatorio, and it was a great blend of tomato and egg goodness! Would highly recommend.

Service is suuuper slow. We couldn't get a reservation until 8:15 and yet there was still a more than 10 minute wait to get seated. Plenty of open tables I guess they just aren't staffed properly. After being seated, we promptly placed our orders, but did not get our main dishes until about 9:30 pm, at which point my 4 year old had already fallen asleep. Fortunately appetizers had arrived a little past 9, so she had eaten some of that. The servers were kind, and our waitress Natalie brought my older child - 7 years old, a blanket while she was waiting for the food to arrive. The food was all really delicious! I'm glad it was freshly prepared, but it was a long wait late at night when we were hungry. They did have kids' menus and perhaps those items would have arrived faster, but we like our kids to have more variety in their food. All our dishes are great: - pulpo (grilled octopus; tender, flavorful) - fritto misto (fried calamari, shrimp, and zucchini - even the kids loved it) - riggatoni bolognese (family favorite between my husband, daughter, and me) - linguini with lobster (I loved it, but it was a little spicy for my daughter) My pear cocktail was also really delicious and a good portion that lasted me the 1 hour wait to appetizers. I recommend getting an earlier reservation here and being prepared for a lengthy and relaxing dinner.

The focaccia appetizer.

Really nice upscale Italian. Ambience and service were great. Prices are on high side but not surprising for a Ritz property. Wonderful outside covered patio. Will likely go back.

You'll find a troublesome menu here. This newly revised version of the old Georgia's restaurant at the Ritz Carlton at Reynolds Plantation is now Italian. About the menu: first, the menu does not even say to the name of the restaurant, not on the front nor the back. Odd? Then, on the breakfast menu, most people will find quite a lot of words that they don't know: stracchino, padron, tramezzino, piadina, shirred eggs, bresaola and more. I would highly suggest to the manager that underneath the Italian, or in parentheses beside it, they explain every last one of these words to their clientele. Further, I have taken three or four semesters of college Italian, and I still did not know at least half of these words. Imagine the average American? You will have to ask so many questions about the menu. And then there is the issue that a couple of things are not even on the menu! Where is the juice? You don't have orange juice or grapefruit juice on your breakfast menu? They do, but it's not listed. So you don't know that they have it, you don't know the price. And then they offer an omelette, but it's not on the menu! I really don't think they are helping themselves with their menu. The egg white frittata I did order was tasty, but I guess I was a little bit surprised by the fact that it said it came with parmigiano, and apparently what that meant was a little sprinkle of same. You could barely see it. The breakfast buffet is $35.

It was my wife's birthday and I needed somewhere close by, upscale but not extravagant. I checked…read moreout the website , looked nice, they took reservations so sure let's give it a try. Reservations at 8, right on time. Walked in seated right away by the hostess. The standard server will be with you shortly here are your menus. Our waitress Summer had the timing down. Just as we figured out what we wanted from the drink menu she arrived. An old fashioned is our go to so two Seasonal Old Fashioned to start. We also ordered the baked Feta for appetizer. The interior is warm and open. Tables and chairs have plenty of room We sat overlooking the bar area (the bar is at a lower level). Only thing I would change is sitting at a table vs a High top. Drinks and appetizer arrived promptly. The baked feta was so good warm and creamy, tomatoes and seasoning provided depth. Summer provided the specials of the day as well as her thoughts on various entree. My wife originally was looking at a pasta w shrimp. Summer brought to our attention the pork chop - she said I know you think of how good can a pork chop be but ours is really amazing. So my wife changed her mind and went with the pork chop. I elected for the Red Fish atop orzo. Entrees arrived and wow they looked perfect. That pork chop was thick, nice crisp sear topped with apples ( sautéed perfectly not soggy). My red fish was well seasoned and tasted great. What amazed me was the spinach and tomato orzo! So creamy and subtle it complimented the fish so well. You can't have a Birthday without desert. Again Summer provided great recommendations and insights. Salted Caramel cheesecake for the birthday girl and I had the crème brûlée cheesecake cake. Both were very good not too dense and not fluff. The flavors were not overpowering so you enjoy the flies well as the taste of cheesecake. Price was what I expected, it's not bar food , priced appropriately. Remember I said reservations were at 8 ? They close at 9 and not once did we feel rushed. The staff, especially Summer treated us like the first customer of the evening. My wife digs the whole singing happy birthday , the dessert had the happy birthday message and Summer discreetly asked if she would like the happy Birthday song. They did, and looked like they had fun doing it. Awesome place we will definitely go back!

Yes, we had to ask for one when our food came, too. Our party of 12 had a variety of dishes, everyone seemed to enjoy their choice. The lasagna was nothing special, I make it better at home. Rolls? Sister Schubert. Not made in their kitchen. Had to ask twice for crushed red pepper & Parmesan. It's the little things that kill an established business. 5-star prices for 3-star food. Our bill for 4 people was almost $200. No alcohol. Maybe again, but not likely.

We felt like family. The owner stopped and chatted with each table for a few minutes after the main course. The B&B was also a pleasure. We had a special need and the owner was more than happy to accommodate us. The room was cozy and had a couple of easy chairs that you could watch TV from. There was also a couple of bags of snacks and a fridge stocked with sodas and water, all complimentary. If you love animals, there is a resident cat who makes his way along the outside porch as an ambassador to all the guests. My breakfast was a beautiful omelette, fresh fruit, buttered toast, tea, juice, or coffee, fresh jams, and all delicious. The farm is cute and quaint and not too far off the main drag. I was offered but declined and now I regret it so much! Planning on going back with my husband when we can eat dinner as well! Can't wait!

We originally had a 7:45 PM reservation, but showed up early hoping for a change. They were incredibly accommodating and got us seated immediately at 6:30 PM on the patio. It turned out to be the highlight of the night--we absolutely loved the atmosphere out there. Even for an early spring evening in Athens, the heaters were positioned perfectly and kept us comfortable the entire time. It's rare to find a spot that's this flexible and still executes at such a high level. Highly recommend.

I had already been about four times before and had determined that I was never going back after my last experience. Well, this one was even worse. Maybe some of the worst service ever. The restaurant was half full, and 80% of the clientele were sorority girls. Nothing against them but I remember the first time I went there when it first opened and it was full of townies. We waited literally almost 30 minutes for our drinks. Finally we had to go find a manager. We were told that they were out of one of the liquors so instead of sending one of their lame bartenders over to ask if we had a second choice we sat there for 30 minutes. The food is so overpriced. And honestly? I make better food at home. They have all these cute, nice looking folks serving the food and they're a little matching aprons, but they seriously lack any sense of urgency or attention. Not only will I never go back to this restaurant, I'm going to make sure that all my friends know not to go there. But judging from the current clientele, I think most people have gotten the word that this place is not worth the money. Oh, and at the end of the evening, their valet parking app didn't work. My friend spend a lot of money in restaurants, and as we left they said they would never go back there either. You have been warned!
