We did demo, design, and permitting separately, so I can't speak to those aspects, but I believe TR's team can handle all of those internally as well if desired. Overall, I'll start by saying that TR has assembled a great team of thoughtful, knowledgeable, and thorough folks across all trades. I can see why they've been around for over 20 years. Along with this, cost was extremely reasonable and straight to the point, in contrast with the many other GCs we screened during our initial bidding process. From start to finish TR's team was highly responsive and easy to work with, and in several instances went above and beyond what I thought were our agreed upon expectations. Our finished home turned out very close to how we initially envisioned, with probably any differences being our own changing opinions around certain design choices. If I were to offer a few minor critiques, they would be the following , though I believe these are generalizable to the construction industry in general rather than TR, specifically: 1) Timetables/clear schedules can be an occasional friction point, though our PM, Joshua, Teresa & the rest of the scheduling team did their best to give updates when they could. 2) In general, I would strongly recommend homeowners to have a basic understanding of how different trades work. Throughout our process some hiccups did come up that needed to be pointed out by us. However, TR and team were extremely quick and thorough about rectifying once brought up - which we really appreciated. Overall - would highly recommend TR, his team, and his subcontractors, and I'm sure we will be working with them again in the future.

This…read morecompany was stellar throughout the whole process -- From the time we initially met with Jonathan at the home and garden show, to the planning/designing of the project and closeout with Jonathan and Pat, to meeting our PM Kevin and the various trades for the job, and to the welcoming and friendly Marrokal staff. These folks are definite pros and would recommend them to folks looking for home remodeling. Any questions and concerns we had before and during the project were answered and addressed promptly. We were kept apprised of any schedule changes and items that would have needed a change request was provided to us in a reasonable time. Review Update (2026)…read more I am updating my original 5-star review from a few years ago. At the time, we were very happy with our kitchen remodel and the overall experience working with Creative Design & Build. The project turned out beautifully, which is why I originally left such a positive review. Over the years, however, I noticed that one section of the flooring felt slightly soft when walking on it. At first, it did not seem serious, so we continued to live with it. Recently, the problem became worse and a section of the floor began to noticeably sink when stepped on and eventually a few edges of the flooring broke. At that point, I became concerned that it could become a safety issue. Because we still had plenty of spare flooring boards left over from the project, I attempted to replace the affected board myself. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the new board to fit correctly due to the locking system, and I could not restore the original board either. I then contacted Creative Design & Build for assistance. One reason I reached out was because our original project manager, Oded, had told us that if we ever had any issues, we should contact the company. I left a voicemail and later received a return call from a staff member. After I explained the situation, she said she would check with management and get back to me. A few days later, I received a text message stating that the warranty had expired and that no repairs would be covered. This was disappointing because I had never been informed that there was a four-year warranty period, nor was I able to find any reference to such a limitation in our contract. When I asked for details regarding the warranty and whether they could recommend someone to repair the issue, I did not receive any further response. There were two other issues relating to electrical and plumbing, however we decided to live with that until we had a major problem we needed fixing. I still appreciate the work that was done on our remodel years ago, and our kitchen remains a space we enjoy. However, I have been disappointed by the lack of follow-up and support when a problem arose. My advice to future customers is to make sure all warranty terms, coverage details, and expiration dates are clearly documented and understood before signing a contract.

He was always happy to accommodate any of our requests or feedbacks. We really appreciate his assistance! Our designer team, Ben, Liri and Hodaya, are also great. They came up with beautiful designs for our kitchen and bathrooms based on our preferences. The 3D renders that they made were very helpful in visualizing the designs before we fully committed. They also helped us pick and shop for all materials. Throughout the process, they are very communicative and accommodating. The subcontractors we worked with are all nice and offer good quality work. Dawn did a great job managing and inspecting their work everyday. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience with Forever Builders' cabinet vendor. This vendor made so many mistakes with our orders.  Notably they shipped us incorrect cabinet door types and refused to replace unless we pay extra. Some brand new cabinets came in with scratches and dings and therefore needed to be replaced. This added substantial delays to our projects. In the end, Forever Builders had to cut tie with them and work with a new vendor who was good. They helped resolve any pending problems. In construction especially with a big project like ours, we can't expect that everything will go smoothly. We can tell that Dawn and Forever Builders have tried their best to make sure we are satisfied with everything. Therefore, I do recommend them if you are looking for a reliable company for your future remodel.

We are so happy with how our backyard turned out! Need for Build completely transformed the space…read moreand it honestly feels like we have a whole new backyard. Before the renovation, we basically had a lot of dirt and a cooking island that took up way too much space. Now we have a pergola, artificial grass, a new retaining wall that was pushed back to give us more usable square footage, and our old cooking island was relocated and turned into an actual backyard grill area. We even have a dog run now, which our dogs absolutely love! Michael was our project manager and he was awesome throughout the entire process. He was super easy to communicate with and always gave us a heads up about what was happening next. He also helped me a lot with the layout and gave me different ideas and options at different price points, which really helped us figure out what we wanted while staying close to our budget. Something else I really appreciated was that Michael was upfront about possible hiccups that could come up during construction. Thankfully none of them actually happened , but I liked that he prepared us ahead of time instead of potentially surprising us later. The crew was also super nice, the craftsmanship came out great, and they finished everything on schedule! Probably the best part is how much we actually use our backyard now. We've already started having BBQs and hosting people, the dogs have their own area to run around, and the whole yard just feels so much bigger and more inviting. This job was completely different and involved a remodel where we wanted custom shelves and new windows added in a side room. We worked with Michael again as well as Haley to design the space. We loved the results, and were satisfied with all of the team who were pleasant, professional and did fantastic work.
