I recently had the pleasure of working with Seven Home Improvement for a complete kitchen remodel, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the initial consultation to the final touches, the team at Seven Home Improvement demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a commitment to excellence. The owner, Tomer was so easy to work with. He took the time to understand my vision and preferences. He provided valuable insights and suggestions while respecting my choices. The result was a comprehensive and well-thought-out plan that maximized both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The craftsmanship displayed during the construction phase was outstanding. The skilled team paid meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every element was executed with precision. We worked with them to remodel our kitchen, remodel our master bathroom, and so many other details throughout the house. First, they were able to upgrade our electrical panel and get it solar ready. This was a very small job but they were willing to take this as a standalone while we kept working on the next steps and work around our schedule. Then, they were able to do slab flooring repair throughout our house per a foundation engineer's recommendations for numerous cracks that were present (that we expected to find) when the floors were pulled up. They installed new floors and even were able to level the tile in our kitchen a little bit which makes our topsy-turvy old house so much more comfortable. Our bathroom remodel was a late addition after finding mold (oh no!) but they were able to get it done first so we would have a nice bathroom to use while they worked on the rest of the house. They re-floored and repainted everything. For the kitchen, we went with custom cabinets though they did have cheaper options, but wow it really made it look good. They really took such care and attention to detail during the whole project to make sure everything we asked for was completed as requested. We had a lot of little things getting done and they were so good about coming back and making sure we were happy as they finished an area. The week they were done they asked for our list of anything we thought was undone and I haven't had to call them back since (except for some new work) because everything they did was not only done right the first time but they made sure we were satisfied. We are newbies to this whole remodel thing and they made it as painless as could be possible. read more

I don't know where to begin... I can't say enough good things about our experience with Seven Home Improvement! From the first day of our project's inception at our home in La Jolla, our project manager, Max, was extremely helpful and attentive to all our needs. He noted to a tee all of the different requests my wife and I had for our total home remodel. Further, he was able to guide us through the process, providing transparency in the scope of work promised, timing, budget, etc... This is what I valued most. Beyond that, Max's ability to bring multiple eyes to our project was beyond helpful. Whether it was bringing in an interior to designer to help us visualize our dream home design or helping us choose materials at a shopping appointment, he truly has been a gift in this uncertain undertaking. We wanted to find an aesthetic that matched our taste while also maximizing resale value in case we decide to sell. Max was able to help us find a perfect blend of just that. He truly is a professional and knows his stuff! Overall we are so happy with our home remodel. We ended up upgrading our kitchen, coupled with 3 bathrooms (2 regular and our master) plus various other things like moving a wall, adding custom trimming in certain areas, and repainting the home. Overall I can't say enough good things. You rock Seven Home Improvement and Go Padres!! read more

My wife and I recently hired Seven Home Improvement for a home project and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough. Tomer, who I believe is the owner, was professional, honest and incredibly detail oriented throughout the process. Communication was always clear, timely, and consistent and we were kept informed every step of the way. The quality of their workmanship truly stands out. Every detail was handled with care and precision. The team was respectful of our home, kept the work area clean and made what could have been a stressful renovation feel smooth, organized and well-managed. One of our biggest concerns was finding a contractor we could fully trust, especially when leaving our home in someone else's hands. After meeting Tomer we immediately felt comfortable and confident in our decision. He and his team delivered on every promise and the finished project turned out even better than we had imagined. I would highly recommend Tomer and Seven Home Improvement to anyone looking for reliable, skilled and professional construction work. We will absolutely work with them again on future projects. read more

My review is a little unusual since I haven't yet worked with Tomer on a project yet but felt that our interactions were still worth leaving a review about. We had some load bearing construction done on our house (primary bedroom ceiling) by someone who was not qualified to do so and never finished. I reached out to Tomer via Yelp to come take a look and quote me on a different part of the project (bathroom). Tomer was one of a few contractors that came by to provide an estimate, but was the only one to care enough about our situation to give me some hard truths. It wasn't easy to hear, but it was all very honest and true, and it changed the approach we're taking to reconcile the situation we were left with. Following our discussion, Tomer went out of his way (at no charge) to answer all questions and make sure I was able to reach different contacts for different things (asbestos testing, structural engineer, etc.). His genuine concern and care about our situation without any self-interest was very apparent. Thank you Tomer for being honest, kind and so helpful to us. You are very much appreciated. read more

My wife and I recently purchased a home in Solana Beach. To say the location was good is putting it lightly. The house? It needed MUCH work. My new neighbor referred me to Tomer at 7 Home Improvement. Boy do I owe my neighbor a really nice bottle of wine! We had no idea what we wanted but after our initial meeting, Tomer came back for a second meeting and had the most amazing ideas for us. Our new home went from drab and outdated to sleek & modern. Even our kitchen hood is crazy beautiful. My wife is an incredible cook and absolutely LOVES her new kitchen. And 3 of our bathrooms are bright and beautiful. The steam shower is just awesome. Best part is, Tomer and his crew from Seven took care of everything, from start to finish. Even the permitting, which is just ridiculous right now with all the delays at the Building Department. If you are looking for a home remodel, like we were, take it from someone who is very picky and detail oriented, 7 Home Improvement is your best choice! You will not be disappointed. Thanks Seven! You guys are AMAZING! read more

We chose Seven Home Improvement for our full bathroom remodel. We had a great experience working with Tomer and his team, and love our new bathroom. The quality of the work is excellent, the team worked with me to make sure everything was how I wanted it, and Tomer checked in almost every day during our project. He was a great advisor for other projects we were thinking of doing, and told us if he didn't think certain things would be worth our investment. Pricing was in line with other licensed GC quotes we received, and Tomer had a bunch of trade discounts that he was able to share with us for Build.com, Bedrosian Tiles, and West Elm. It's also worth mentioning that the follow up service is great. Our subfloor started squeaking a few months after the install so Tomer's team came back asap to fix the problem. Tomer's team also fixed a leak we had in our roof, replaced our front door and baseboards throughout the house, and opened up the entrance from our dining room to the kitchen. We're really happy with all the work they did. read more

Working with Seven Home Improvement was a dream. our experience with Seven Home Improvement was so exceptional I had to share. First, the estimating & design process with Tomer was thorough. Tomer was very responsive on design/size changes, and cost estimates were broken down in a very easy and understandable way.  They organized and provided design, plans, permits, inspection appointments - everything was done for us. Their communication was beyond thorough, they kept us in the loop every step of the way, they moved quickly and did a quality job for a fair price. They were also very flexible and responsive while we navigated through some HOA issues. They were professional, organized, efficient, and everyone knew exactly what they were doing. The finished product exceeded our expectations and we are so glad we chose to work with them on our home renovation project. Thank you Tomer and Team. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again. read more

We found Tomer and his team after a really bad experience with a differenct contractor. We were about to do a lot of work in different parts of the house and needed someone reliable, trustworthy and with good workmanship, We found all that in Tomer and Seven Home Improvement. Tomer was detail oriented during the consultation phase offering good suggestions too. It was clear that he knew what he was talking about! We ended up doing multiple projects with him consecutively - one bathroom, kitchen, whole house white oak flooring, a pool remodel. Once the work started we were happy with the process and delighted with the final the results!!!The work was finished on time and the crews were responsible and protected the rest of the house while they worked. Finally, Tomer was always available for help and questions , often even well after the work was done. I would hire Tomer again for work in the future!! We love the results!! read more

Seven rocked our kitchen remodel. We had a tiny, box-like kitchen. More like a kitchenette. Tomer came for a consult. He took pictures and some video of our kitchen and said he'd be back in a few days with some ideas for us. We had no clue what could possibly be done to make our little space better. OMGoodness! He brought us so many cool ideas and we chose what we liked the best. The whole permitting process took forever through the planning department but he stayed on it and got our permits. When work began, we left for a long overdue vacation to see family. So si we were both working remotely, we were gone for 2 months in total. When we returned home, we walked into our house and there was our gorgeous and FUNCTIONAL kitchen! It was crazy beautiful. Thanks so much Seven, you literally made our dreams come true! read more

MISSION CRAFTSMAN Kitchen - Beautifu! We have a small Mission Craftsman house with original wood and built-ins. The kitchen was 1950's style with very little counter space or cabinets. Tomer and Seven Home Improvement transformed our kitchen into an authentic Mission Craftsman space with hand-made cabinets, hand-cut trim, wood windows, and inset appliances. The skilled workmanship and attention to detail resulted in the most beautiful kitchen I could have hoped for. Our home now blends and flows creating a lovely, calm environment. Tomer visited us almost daily. He was receptive and responsive when we had questions or concerns. Tomer's crew members were friendly, responsive, and respectful of our wishes. They cleaned up each day. We cannot say enough about the trust we have for Tomer and his work! read more
