We worked with them to remodel our kitchen, remodel our master bathroom, and so many other details throughout the house. First, they were able to upgrade our electrical panel and get it solar ready. This was a very small job but they were willing to take this as a standalone while we kept working on the next steps and work around our schedule. Then, they were able to do slab flooring repair throughout our house per a foundation engineer's recommendations for numerous cracks that were present (that we expected to find) when the floors were pulled up. They installed new floors and even were able to level the tile in our kitchen a little bit which makes our topsy-turvy old house so much more comfortable. Our bathroom remodel was a late addition after finding mold (oh no!) but they were able to get it done first so we would have a nice bathroom to use while they worked on the rest of the house. They re-floored and repainted everything. For the kitchen, we went with custom cabinets though they did have cheaper options, but wow it really made it look good. They really took such care and attention to detail during the whole project to make sure everything we asked for was completed as requested. We had a lot of little things getting done and they were so good about coming back and making sure we were happy as they finished an area. The week they were done they asked for our list of anything we thought was undone and I haven't had to call them back since (except for some new work) because everything they did was not only done right the first time but they made sure we were satisfied. I don't know where to begin... I can't say enough good things about our experience with Seven Home Improvement! From the first day of our project's inception at our home in La Jolla, our project manager, Max, was extremely helpful and attentive to all our needs. He noted to a tee all of the different requests my wife and I had for our total home remodel. Further, he was able to guide us through the process, providing transparency in the scope of work promised, timing, budget, etc... This is what I valued most. Beyond that, Max's ability to bring multiple eyes to our project was beyond helpful. My review is a little unusual since I haven't yet worked with Tomer on a project yet but felt that our interactions were still worth leaving a review about. We had some load bearing construction done on our house (primary bedroom ceiling) by someone who was not qualified to do so and never finished. I reached out to Tomer via Yelp to come take a look and quote me on a different part of the project (bathroom). Tomer was one of a few contractors that came by to provide an estimate, but was the only one to care enough about our situation to give me some hard truths. It wasn't easy to hear, but it was all very honest and true, and it changed the approach we're taking to reconcile the situation we were left with. Following our discussion, Tomer went out of his way (at no charge) to answer all questions and make sure I was able to reach different contacts for different things (asbestos testing, structural engineer, etc.). We chose Seven Home Improvement for our full bathroom remodel. We had a great experience working with Tomer and his team, and love our new bathroom. The quality of the work is excellent, the team worked with me to make sure everything was how I wanted it, and Tomer checked in almost every day during our project. He was a great advisor for other projects we were thinking of doing, and told us if he didn't think certain things would be worth our investment. Pricing was in line with other licensed GC quotes we received, and Tomer had a bunch of trade discounts that he was able to share with us for Build.com, Bedrosian Tiles, and West Elm. It's also worth mentioning that the follow up service is great. Our subfloor started squeaking a few months after the install so Tomer's team came back asap to fix the problem. Tomer's team also fixed a leak we had in our roof, replaced our front door and baseboards throughout the house, and opened up the entrance from our dining room to the kitchen. Seven rocked our kitchen remodel. We had a tiny, box-like kitchen. More like a kitchenette. Tomer came for a consult. He took pictures and some video of our kitchen and said he'd be back in a few days with some ideas for us. We had no clue what could possibly be done to make our little space better. OMGoodness! MISSION CRAFTSMAN Kitchen - Beautifu! We have a small Mission Craftsman house with original wood and built-ins. The kitchen was 1950's style with very little counter space or cabinets.
