I had a 10/10 experience with Josh at Discount Tire today…read more I usually have to mentally brace myself and prepare for attempted upsells and listening to sales pitches for fixes that are a luxury but I don't NEED right now. There is NOTHING that turns me off more than a pushy, fake friendly salesman but I needed a tire. Josh made the entire experience easy, straightforward, lighthearted and I felt completely taken care of. I was there for 3 hours because of my own poor planning and walking in during the lunch rush; but the wait was totally fine with me since I was taken care of. Josh knew that I couldn't afford more than what I came in for. After I paid, he mentioned genuinely that a different tire on my car needs to be replaced when I can afford it. Now, I will 100% be coming back to this location to replace the other tire when I can!!!

This specific Big O is doing it right. They got me right in, and I was out in 15 min or less with no charge! I'll definitely be coming back for any tire purchases and needs.

I'm so sad to have moved too far from Clegg…read more I have taken four different cars to Clegg over 6 years for a whole menagerie of reasons. They are always honest about their pricing, even when it is higher than other garages in the area. They have explained to me why they would charge what they do, and if I can't afford that, where to go for cheaper service. Because of their honesty on that front, I trust their judgment and pay them more. So heads up, service may cost more here, but I felt like they were honest with why.

They made it right! I took my car here for over 4 years up until I left to move out of state, and after doing over 15+ oil changes on 2 different cars, I can tell you these guys are the real deal. They know their stuff and they have so many services all in one spot (tires, brakes, oil change, emissions, registration, mechanic work, diagnostics). I honestly don't know why any people in Utah would go anywhere else unless it's because these guys happen to be full or something haha. Great experiences for a long period of time with them.

They had also forgot to put my skid plate back on and they accused me of already having a warranty job done due to poor organization. Upon inspection he explained why it's still good and that I can easily put another 30,000 miles on it. I tried to give him a tip and he wouldn't take it. He just asked that I come back and see him next time I need something. I live in NYC but you can bet I'll be referring any Utah vehicles to Mitchell's Garage.

Things were starting to wear out on it, but buying a newer car was not within the budget. At one point I could no longer unlock the Driver's side door from the outside or inside as the long metal arm between the locking peg and the lock itself broke off. No one made or sold that part anymore. I thought I'd have to finish my last year without a car, and then my first couple paychecks after that trying to get a newer one. The mechanics at Mitchell machined a new part and then installed it for about $20. The car saw me through commissioned officer training in the Air Force, and my young family to our first duty station on the East Coast. I'll always be grateful to Mitchell's for going beyond expectations, and at the same time being super understanding of where I was in my life, how needed the car was, and how limited of a budget I had.
