This specific Big O is doing it right. They got me right in, and I was out in 15 min or less with no charge! Awful service. From the moment I walked in the entire staff was rude. They made it seem like it was an inconvenience that one of them had to stop chatting and put on a mask to help me with a simple oil change. Once I returned to pick up my car, the same worker continued having a bad attitude, this time without ever putting a mask on. He threw my keys on the counter disrespectfully and I left very unsatisfied. I had a leaking tire and took it to this location which was the same store I bought the tires from a couple years ago. I was told that I had two screws in my tire. One was fixable and the other was in the side wall and not fixable. Given I have all wheel drive they said I needed to replace all 4 tires so the thread matched. Cost was going to be around $1600. I decided to get a second option so I went to a different Big O in Provo where Steve, a family friend works. Asked him to take a look and guess what. Only one screw in the tire dead in the center of the flat spot. Tire was fixed and I was on my way in less than 30 min. This Big O near Costco literally lied about a 2nd screw just to get me to buy new tires from them. Will never go to this location again. read more

These guys suck. I've had five flats in less than a year and they refuse to replace any of my tires I bought through them 1.5 years ago AND have insurance on all of them. Give me a break! I paid out the ass for all this just a short time ago and they always give me the run around when I get yet another flat. These guys are great. I've gone in for several of their promotions and the work has always been good. I had my tires rotated and they put my key socket back where they found it, whereas every other place I've done tires has either taken it or put it in some random place. They are very professional and considerate. Last time I went in they started working and I found a deal online for an oil change with a winter readiness inspection, tire rotation, and a couple add-ons for the price of the regular oil change. They were bringing my car down when I brought it up. They lifted it back up and did all the extra work without giving me any hassle. Went in for an annual Uber inspection. One of my door locks was not working great, so they had to replace a part. They didn't have the part in stock so I had to come back. I was a bit disappointed in having to wait with my car having one door lock totally out of commission. (Don't leave any valuables in the car) However, Dalton took ownership from beginning to end of my transaction. He communicated with me, called me on the phone, and apologized for the inconvenience. He also filled out my inspection sheet before the work was down so I could get back on the road with Uber ASAP. In the end, Dalton, earned 5 stars. They didn't charge me for my inspection and honored my 10% off coupon for the service they rendered. The lock works and it only took 45 minutes total. I have never been too pleased with this location of Big O. I came in here just a little while ago to get a simple air pressure check and I was waiting in line for over 20 minutes. While waiting inside I heard them discussing a ridiculous price for a simple front brake job on a different person's car. Trying to tell him that they could put a bandaid on the situation for $150! I decided to "cut my losses" and head over to Discount across the street. Right away I was greeted by friendly people that had fun Hawaiian shirts on. 5 minutes later I was ready for my long trip and they even checked my spare tire which was out of air due to not having a core in it. I sat outside waiting for the free air check for half an hour, and I saw AT LEAST 9 employees including two managers look at me, never one single employee approached me nor motioned to me to come forward. They all looked me in the eye, then just kept about their business, one manner even fist bumping the employees before leaving himself... they clearly don't know what customer service is. I've purchased tires for multiple vehicles through this establishment, and had troubles with them almost every time. There is no warranty that covers the full replacement of a tire, although they say that, you have to pay for the mounting of the tire, almost always $50. And one vehicle wears funny, even though they did the alignment, so every month I'm having to pay for the mounting of the tire even though it's fully covered by the warranty for the replacement. I'm a single mom, and struggle to get this done already, but then to have them stare at me and refuse to come check and see what I need is the last straw. My wife went in to get her tire patched after running over nail. She was told they couldn't patch it, but that they would sell her a used tire for $40. That worked for us, so she paid them and was on her way. Unfortunately they happened to give us a tire with more leaks than the one they replaced. I went back a few days later wondering if they would stand behind a used tire. They replaced it for me right away and apologized for the inconvenience. I brought in a coupon to have my oil changed. After I came to pick up my vehicle they charged me an extra $15 saying that the coupon states it works on most vehicles. They said mine was a little more difficult, which may be true however, they did not tell me this BEFORE they started, and they also did not call and say "is this okay?" When he asked for them to show him "they couldn't because it was already in the parking lot." Yeah that's not fishy or anything! Any honest mechanic will show you what needs to be done and keep your car in the garage so they can commit you to getting the work done right there. I have been coming to Danny for years. By far, some of the best customer service I have found anywhere for any business. They go above and beyond every time! Long story short, about 10 plus years ago, we bought some tires at Costco. They always have the best deals! That is until you need to get the tires installed, rotated, or any service whatsoever. The little upfront savings does not pay in the end. We were consistently 3+ hours for a balance and rotation. My time is worth much more than the little bit of front end savings.That is when I found Danny and Big O and have been coming here ever since! Obviously with any tire place, there are times when it is more busy than others. But they are honest, ethical, and transparent and will really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. Can't say this about all Big O shops (because I haven't been to any others) but definitely can about the South Orem shop and Danny and his team. On April 2, 2015, I brought my car there for safety and emission check. The shop said the car's tie rod ends should be fixed (including alignments and tire rotation). Two days afterward, I found my car pulling to right when running. Thus, I brought it to the shop again. The staff said it would take about 1 hour to finish. I waited for about 1.5 hours, and asked the staff what happened. He said it was about finish. Then, I saw my car was driven to the repair shop and jacked up. The technician said it is due to the difference between my two tires (one of them was worn much). He explained it clearly, but he lied about the finish time. Besides this, I also found the shop performance was very poor, regarding the standards of Motorist Assurance Program (MAP). According to MAP, the shop was supposed to check up the tie rod ends, alignments, and tire conditions (including rotation) all together, and gave me a price quote. The shop was very poor, because it lied about the awaiting time and did not check the car repair thoroughly. It let me fall into its trap, and then gain the customer's money bit by bit. Either this shop violated the ethics of MAP, or the MAP was just a useless name. Its price was about 10% higher than the market, and it did not fully inform the customer as required by MAP. read more
