Its hit a miss . When it comes to takeout orders.. meaning check your food at the restaurant . You will not get your money back if you're not satisfied, you've been worn. It's not like it was in 2015?.

Came in for a quick bite. From the time I walked in, everyone was SO friendly! The vibe was awesome and I felt as though they genuinely wanted to ensure everyone dining there was having a great experience. It's diner food, the menu was huge but what I thought was awesome was this salad bar! Love a good salad bar. Although I didn't get the salad bar, my side salad was delish! I really like their ranch! The chicken tenders are hand breaded, and had a very good flavor! That breading was awesome! I also loved the seasoned salt that they had on the table. Being I live in New Orleans, my go to seasoning is Tony's so I was totally unprepared for the explosion of different spices. Looking at the ingredients and I see why! Curry powder, ginger, umani medley, sage.... Like WHAT?! Yes! I need a case of this stuff!! I do want to thank Rachel for her outstanding service! Completely went above and beyond for ya girl! Great spirit that just shines right through! Becky and the gentleman that seated me, (I think he could be upper management), were very nice and attentive as well! A quick simple bite that totally exceeded my expectations by looking at pictures from YELP! So glad I decided to form my own opinion and take better pictures!

The reviews on this Big Boy seem to be barbelled between love and hate. The loves understand that it's a Big Boy and not Chez Money in Bham. The hates seem to , well not like anything. Like the review that didn't like the "clamp shouter!". Thanks Einstein. When in Rome as the saying goes, do as the Roman's do. Well when in Big Boy do as the Big Boyans (?) do. Don't expect a cheap gourmet lunch. Go in knowing that this is going to be old school hearty fare and you'll be fine. I am of the latter group and ordered a Big Boy, fries and an iced tea with the salad and soup bar. ( Hey I had a gift card!). I was torn between "the best cheese burger in the world" the name of which they have somehow trademarked and the Big Boy but I went with the original. As for scouring the world for other cheeseburgers to compare, while appealing, seemed out of the question. I started with the salad bar which was great with, wait for it...iceberg lettuce that was fresh and crispy and all of the other faves. The soup(s) had to wait for another visit so I'll withhold judgement. My burger and fries arrived in good time and was fantastic. The Big Boy is basically what McDonalds ripped off for the Big Mac. Two patties, sauce, lettuce, pickles, you get the drift. The fries could have been in a bit more...hello 5th star, but were fine. Iced teas were brought in quick succession and were fresh with a nice wedge of lemon. They had some great looking deserts but that's for next time. All in a great if a bit pricey lunch. But hey everything is pricey these days. So put on your retro hat and your big boy pants and step back in time for a great lunch at an iconic restaurant. And you're really shopping local because the chain in headquartered in Warren! Big boy, oh boy...Go!

Average. I came here today with my parents, they wanted to take advantage of the 99c strawberry pie special (99c with purchase). I think the last time I went to a Big Boy was about a year ago, but before that, like 10+ years ago ... this one is right by my house, though, so was convenient. The pie was a bit disappointing. It's basically just strawberries, with strawberry goo (gel?), and pie crust. I liked the pie crust but thought it would be more like an actual pie. However, their other pies near the check-out counter looked good. My mom got the "cookie pie" which was just a flat cookie (not your typical "cookie pie") topped with ice cream and whipped cream. It was still tasty, though. Service was overall fine. I noticed they're open until midnight on the weekends which is good to know in case I'm looking for a late meal or snack. They also had free WiFi, which was nice.

This was the first time I have been to this location. I ordered the Strawberry Belgian Waffle Blockbuster. It was delicious it had fresh strawberries and whip cream. It was so good. It also came with eggs bacon and sausage links. My waitress Julia was awesome.

A burger that you would never believe. -#cheat on beef. Ya right lol

I like the decor, cleanliness and kind service. Chicken Noodle (soup of the day) Hearty and especially satisfying on a cold day with blizzard temps. I recommend to get it with bread or biscuits because the crackers make the already salty soup even saltier. Berryliciois Waffle Belgian waffle with mixed berries, lineage mixed berry sauce and homemade custard sauce. Without a doubt, the bomb!! Soft and chewy, fresh and crispy on the edges with just the exact amount of berry sauce drizzle. You don't need syrup, although I added it anyway, especially with that scoop of custard sauce right in the middle. Not to be shared next time! Michigan cherry salad Mixed greens, dried (and tart) Michigan, cherries, strawberries, green, apples, crumbled, goat, cheese, onions, tossed with raspberry vinaigrette. I thought the cherries were comparatively chewy to the other ingredients which disrupted the pace of eating. I also shouldn't have added smoked salmon - which was fine, just I think the chicken would have been a better pairing here. Service is nice and outstanding. I'll definitely come back here for more waffles! That's all....

I ordered the "Double Trouble" -- French toast loaded with cookie dough, Oreos, Nutella, and chocolate sauce. Let me just say... that dish is a train straight to diabetes. In all seriousness, it was absolutely delicious and indulgent, but definitely on the overly sweet side. If you have a serious sweet tooth, this one's for you. My wife went with the Classic Eggs Benedict, and that was excellent -- well-balanced flavors and cooked just right. The breakfast potatoes, however, were a bit bland. They were cooked well texture-wise but could definitely use more seasoning. Service was so-so, though it seemed like they were pretty busy, which likely played a role. The location is great -- conveniently about a mile from Woodside Church, one of the largest churches in Michigan -- so I can imagine it gets especially packed on weekends. One important note: restroom maintenance needs attention. With only a single restroom per gender, cleanliness is critical. My wife noticed the toilet seat wasn't clean, which is something that should be addressed promptly, especially in a high-traffic establishment. Overall, the food quality was strong, particularly the main dishes, and we'd likely return -- but there are definitely a few operational details that could elevate the experience.

They get them both right! First time, I got the Spinach, avocado and Swiss omelette, and my driver got the Fruit explosion crepes. We shared, of course. I'm not a potato person, so I always substitute tomatoes for potatoes, when they let me. Their tomatoes were good quality, sweet-ish, not mealy, or too snotty. The crepes were gorgeous to look at and a pleasure to eat! Second time, I got the Elvis french toast which did not disappoint! Warning, they're rich, you may need a glass of milk to wash them down. My driver got the Florentine Benedict and he loved them. They know how to do brunch!!!! I'll definitely be back.
