It was pretty dead, Sunday evening and all. No $@!?, Sherlock, thanks for your input. It was rude as hell. We decide to go ahead and stay inside, so we take a seat. Live band is playing outside, they were really wonderful. They were finishing up their set at the top of the hour. Different waiter came over, young man very nice. Service from him was overall good, he did go and standoff and talk with his coworkers for longer periods of time with his back to us. Had to call him over to come take our order and for the check. There was only one other person there beside us as a patron. Food, I was expecting better. I ordered a very simple grilled cheese, it came out quite burnt, but the fries were good. One of my boys ordered the bacon burger, he said it was OK-mid at best, but nothing beyond that. The other ordered the chicken fried chicken, which he devoured all of it! They have nightly specials and Tuesday night was half priced wings. But my kid decided to get the kids combo instead. It's a 1/4 beef burger. It comes with fries or tots and we did the latter. I asked for mayo but didn't get any. Just ketchup. The tots had been fried perfectly golden brown and were still crunchy by the time we got home. The burger was a bit dry without mayo but still delicious. Their non-kid burgers are not cheap and start at $11.50 for just the basic burger. Maybe that 3rd B in their name (after Burgers and Beer) stands for Bucks, as in beaucoup bucks. 1 pool table in back. A patio. Plenty of TVs. Staff was nice. Not sure we'd return but I'm glad we popped by nonetheless.

Our waitress was very attentive and showed up often to refresh my tea and the Misses' coke zero at a rate we never saw the half full glass at amy time during the meal. The menu is varied and spans Mexican to creole to American to basic steaks. I ordered the Buffalo Sauce chicken sammie on a sourdough bun with fries. The Missus had a tater with queso and a Coke Zero. As usual, the chicken sammie was messy as all get out and I almost thought about using a knife and fork to hack apart this tasty meal. It was savory, tender and spiced well enough to stand on its own without the bun and fixins. As for the meal, we had more than enough to sate our appetite. On another level, there is a comedy club on the second floor. Thursday is locals, Friday and Saturday have comics that run the circuit nationwide, so the laughs should be good. I will be back soon. From beginning to end, the evening was fantastic, but our server, Cidney, truly made the experience exceptional. We started with the fried asparagus topped with crab meat and the spinach and artichoke dip. Both were absolutely amazing. The asparagus was crispy and delicious, and that creamy sauce with the crab took it to another level. The spinach and artichoke dip was rich, creamy and perfect for sharing. And then came the entrées! Our table tried several different dishes, including a beautiful double pork chop with asparagus and mac & cheese, a seafood entrée with shrimp and rice, and chicken-fried steak with green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything came out beautifully presented, portions were generous, and there definitely wasn't a disappointing plate on the table. Of course, we couldn't leave without dessert! We tried several, including the warm bread-pudding-style dessert with ice cream and pecans and a decadent chocolate dessert. By that point we were completely full, but somehow we still managed to find room. As wonderful as the food was, Cidney made the night. She went above and beyond throughout our entire visit. She never stopped moving, was incredibly attentive without ever making us feel rushed, and really knew her menu. She also helped us with drink selections, and every recommendation was perfect. Our table enjoyed everything from espresso martinis and draft IPAs to Old Fashioneds. Cidney was warm, knowledgeable, fun and an absolute delight. Great food can bring you into a restaurant, but exceptional service is what makes you want to come back, and Cidney absolutely gave us that kind of experience. Ross, you've got a fantastic team in the lounge, and Cidney is a gem! Between the food, drinks, atmosphere and outstanding service, this was easily a 10/10 experience. We will absolutely be back!

Hubby's Redfish Lafitte plate and my redfish tacos were well seasoned, with enough heat to remind you they are blackened without being overwhelming. Drinks were slow to arrive though the server visited our table several times. So I can only assume the bar was backed up. Also be aware they only had 1 reposado tequilla (casa Amigos), which was a little surprise given the size of the bar area. My Carrillo was as expected. I don't usually order "dessert style" drinks but it seemed like the right thing to do on a Sunday afternoon. The main downside for us was the noise on the patio. The patio is huge and it echos. In particular, I nearly jumped out of my seat when the Jenga bricks came tumbling down. We'll be back but I'll make sure to request further away from the game area!
