My husband and I stayed at LA Torreta Resort... The food at the Torreta was not that great.. So we ventured out... We saw this burger joint and loved the name so why not try it out... When we walked in it was like walking into Cheers...everyone knew everyone there... The atmosphere was a bit smoky but if you can get past that... It's a pretty cool place... It's somewhere your Dad or Granddad use to hang out at. My husband ordered the bacon cheese burger and I ordered the mushrooms Swiss... With 2 Coronas... The burgers came to us Branded BB... For... you guessed it... Bertha's Burgers... I had mine with fries and my husband had the onion rings... The food was amazing and delicious. My husband said that his burger was in his top five!! The bartender who is also the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. She told us that the beef for the burger was prime beef and that the tomatoes are homegrown. The special for the day was spaghetti and the sauce they used is homemade and the veggies they use are also homegrown. Wish we could have tasted it... I'm sure it's delicious. We were very impressed with this place and recommend going here!

The inside was well lit, it was still a bit early, so there was no wait time at all to get seated. The hostess seated us promptly but noticed after a few minutes that we hadn't been greeted yet, so she came back over to check on us, which was super nice and very observant! Our server was wonderful. He came over with a great smile and had some great energy, and was very funny. And shame on me for not remembering his name!!!! But anywho. We had some questions on the menu, which he was great walking us through. As we ordered our food, our bevvy's came out and it was off to cheers to a great day! Not long after our food arrived. I ordered a traditional breakfast with the cinnamon pancake. There was a photo of it on Yelp that I just couldn't get out of my head, and I was very happy that I got the pancake. It was prob my fave part of the meal. The rest of my breakfast was good. Not terrible, not out the park, but it was a good breakfast. The eggs were probably my other fave bite. My friends food looked really yummy too, they went with the chilaquiles and the hash. Cute little spot for a weekend breakfast, would come back to try the lunch/dinner options too.

When I first walked in, it did smell like gas but that did go away as I sat there longer, didn't seem any other issues. I ordered an espresso martini and the Breakfast Tacos with Sausage, eggs, spinach, mushrooms and pepper jack. I asked for the Breakfast Potatoes extra crispy. My husband ordered the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. Tacos were good and the breakfast potatoes were well seasoned and crispy like I had asked. The Cinnamon Roll Pancakes were good but wish it was a little more cinnamon-y. The espresso martini wasn't bad either. Overall, very friendly and quick service but when we had come in the morning, there weren't too many people there.

This place is located in Montgomery technically but is right next to Conroe you can see the lake driving up it was so beautiful. It's a prohibition style speakeasy with the hidden door and the ambiance is so beautiful inside with an amazing bar and just a great vibe. We loved how the waitresses were dressed in dresses from the time it was so classy and fun. And we went on a night they had live music and it was sooo good. Now let's talk about the drinks there were so many choices of cocktails bourbon whiskey you name it. I let the waitress pick mine it was something with pear and it was yummy. We both loved our drinks. My husband loved his old fashion. The food was absolutely delicious we enjoyed the crab toast and lamb lollipop and the Chilean sea bass which were all to die for. Oh and Lavendar creme brûlée for dessert. We met Rob and his wife the owners who are the nicest people and now we can't wait to come back with friends to salsa night. If you're looking for a nice dinner spot with great drinks food and music on certain nights just the best service you have to come try this location you won't be disappointed. It made our anniversary special.
