I saw so many things I wanted to buy, but decided to think about it a little more before I do. On my list is a retro kitchen clock that looks like the one from my childhood, cutting board with a built in lemon zester and knife sharpener, rechargeable lantern in a cherry blossom pattern, air fryer cookbook, onion saver, and a melamine bowl with a cute design on it. The staff was friendly and helpful, and their prices are reasonable. It was such a joy to be back at Domus!

As a cat person, I give this shop and the incredible owner 5-stars. Perfect for gifts (especially if you have a cat lover in your life). Cat wind chimes, cat garden ornaments, cat signage, cat clay statues, some cat incense holders that I'm totally going back for, and more... though the shop hosts no actual live cats. In addition to all the cat goods, there's also this really rad goat painting that I'm now having major regrets about not purchasing, but like I said, I'm going back and I'll just have to hope no one reading this snatches it before me. The owner is so friendly and sweet and partially communicates via her notepad after having a stroke and brain surgery and not being able to speak for over a year, apparently. She's an incredible ray of light who chooses pieces she loves and cares about for her most adorable shop and I can't wait to come back.

The shop is way to the left when you enter a borrow driveway and is a little hidden from a first glanced view. The shop itself is filled with socially conscious and environmentally friendly products. A small, but noticeable incense echoes the rooms with a reminiscent fragrance. I bought a mahogany box crafted by hand in Vietnam which was fairly priced. The lady guided me throughout the store, eager to get on my good side, and it worked. She explained the cultural significance of the Vietnamese boxes and jewelry and how they dated back to the Vietnam War. An overall good shop, with a terrible location.

More stuff = more fun. Most items can not be found anywhere else in Salinas. Owner, Donna Bruhn, goes for the unique. I'm sure that you will find something to delight you or the person that you will give a gift from here. Salinas visitors: Make this store a destination if you've never been here before and are curious about the town. There are several boutiques on Main street worth a look. And have a meal at Villa Azteca across the street, it's creative Mexican food (Not the same old, same old Tex-Mex tacos, burritos, quesadillas). The food is way above average quality.

I enjoyed browsing through all the tables , summer theme , garden theme , watermelon, birds and bee hives , etc . The store was quiet and a lady owner was inside by the front desk. The store has a lot of Thousand Skies merch (of course), but also a lot of other artists' work. Very similar to what you'll see at some SJmade fairs, you'll see a lot of prints, charms, caps, plushies, washi tape, and more. I could probably spend just as long in the store as I would at SJmade. When I was shopping there (5/17/26), Thousand Skies had a free reusable bag for any purchase of $50 or more on their merch. She was so friendly and had a lot of recommendations for us that were in the Pacifica area. She was so happy to see us and we had a nice time visiting with her and enjoying her shop. We found a cool wine bottle opener that was shaped like a fish, a cute turtle bowl and some really nice soaps that were locally made. She also had a nice selection of jams, that were locally made as well. We purchased the P.O.G. flavor which was passion fruit, orange and guava. I love those flavors. They remind me of the POG drinks that are from Hawaii. She also mentioned the maker of the jam had a store down the street, which we also visited. I really loved her store for the variety of items and for supporting her local community by having local items for sale in her store. Prices were reasonable and I feel they were worth it for what we bought. If you are ever visiting Pacifica, I highly recommend checking out this wonderful gift shop.
