I wasn't a big pumpkin patch person before, but starting this year I basically made my own Pumpkin Patch Tour 2025 and it started with Patchen Pumpkin Patch! This place was *awesome*! It was one of the smaller patches we'd end up seeing this year, but it had such character and the staff was so friendly. There was a ton of fun stuff everywhere, like a big ruler where you could stand with partners/kids/dogs for cute photo ops, wagons and little carts for the little ones, and of course - pumpkins! The parking fee was not so high, and it counts toward your purchase of a pumpkin. It is dog friendly and the owners we encountered were all mindful and careful, asking before petting - it was great and a great value as well. Would absolutely recommend! read more

This is the only pumpkin patch I've been to that was not only enjoyable for kids, but also relaxing for the adults. That in itself is enough of a reason to return. Spacious without being overwhelming, Patchen offers the perfect balance of enough room for a toddler to run around without going too far. It's cozy and cute, and I honestly felt like I was on a vacation while visiting. The complimentary wine was a plus, and we will definitely be back when it's Christmas time! VALUE: an excellent value. This patch was so lovely and relaxing last year, but this year it seems underwhelming and rip-off. Last year: less people, less overcrowded with cars, free glass of wine (some promotion), no entry fee. This year: they charge you $20 per car per entrance, it's the credit towards the overpriced pumpkins that honestly we did not need. No free wine samples this year, overcrowded with people and cars (on Saturday, to be fair),no serenity, not much to do for kids, pretty underwhelming singer. This patch is way too small to accommodate that many people. We will definitely not be back. read more

Adorable little patch up on the mountain. Gravel parking and grassy patch area were surprisingly doable for our son's wheelchair. The place is set up for photo ops, family fun and easy choosing of high quality pumpkins. Dog and kid friendly. We played cornhole, Jenga and snacked on popcorn and lemonade while we picked out pumpkins. Took great family photos. So compact, yet so much to see. The owners have obviously taken loving care to create a special place...we so appreciate their hard work. Overall I'd like to start on a positive note, the pumpkin patch was adorable. Great for photos and toddler friendly which was appreciated. My daughter had a great time pushing wagons around. I liked that there was no parking or entrance fee. I think I'd give a higher rating if my experience was better but my 2 star rating is based on an unfair situation that happened to me. It was our first time here and I had pulled up to an open parking space in the front of the patch. There was signs to my left that said to leave parking open or don't park or something along those lines so I parked to the right where there was no sign. Then a woman who I think is the owner of patchen pumpkin patch approached me and told me I couldn't park there and to move my car down. Okay sure, although I didn't understand why in that moment. Whatever. So my daughter and I started to enjoy the pumpkin patch, and not even ten minutes later other cars started to park in the same spot I parked, and shortly after it filled up where cars "weren't allowed to park" I watched as the owner and cashier hesitated to approach the other cars but decided not too. That did upset me because then I felt profiled. Why couldn't I park there but other cars could? Mind you there was still lots of parking towards the back and on the side where I was told to park. It was a Thursday and not busy. I really hope that I wasn't profiled but would like an explanation. I couldn't help but notice everyone else was caucasian. Even if I wasn't biased profiled it still was a very unfair situation and experience because thats how uncomfortable I felt. For more of my background I'm Mexican, I'm pregnant and had my one year old daughter with me. When I went to checkout and buy two pumpkins I asked the cashier girl why I wasn't able to park there and she said it was overflow parking. Then I proceeded to ask why cars were parked there when I was told no and she hesitated and said because once one car parks there everyone else follows??? I had no comment. Some other things I disliked was that it was a lot smaller than expected. Pumpkins were a bit pricer compared to other pumpkin patches in the bay area. Although there was a variety I felt like there wasn't a lot to choose from. I was excited to check out the Christmas tree lot this winter but now I don't know if I'd come back because of what I experienced. read more

This was the perfect, low key, adorable pumpkin patch to enjoy a family outing. Photo opportunities (lots of people posing their adorable pups in wagons w8th pumpkins). A fun "pumpkin path" through the growing Christmas trees, with a few small buckets of candy along the way if you are paying attention. So much less stressful than more crowded patches with a million ticketed activities. Pumpkins, lemonade, and popcorn for sale and everything else (parking, admittance) is free to enjoy. read more

As my husband and I chatted with the owners, they told us it was their first year doing the pumpkin patch and are typically a Christmas tree farm. It was very beautiful and scenic and we will definitely be back for a Christmas tree. Extremely fair prices for the pumpkins, the pumpkin patch area itself was quaint and cozy. Superb customer service and really sweet people all around. The drive can feel a little rough if you aren't use to a narrow road but honestly no trouble at all. I was struggling to look for a dog friendly pumpkin patch and really wanted my dog to experience it. I stumbled across this place and thought, "Wonderful!" My dog and I had lots of fun at the pumpkin patch despite it being just the both of us. The admission is free, so anybody is welcome to check out this place during opening hours. The parking is also easy to find since there are some open spots in front of the giant house. The owners are super warm and welcoming too. I was trying to find the perfect pumpkin to paint at home and Kelley allowed me to take the one from the display above the midi sign since there were no more other pumpkins that size. To be honest, I felt pretty bad because I wanted that pumpkin even though it was the only one. They also sold some lavender and I ended up getting a sachet. I regretted not buying more lavender since I love lavender a lot hahaha. Overall, we are going to come back next year and bring some friends/family with us as well! read more
