The Los Gatos location opened back up in 2023, but I just found out about it. Stopped in today and they still have the best stuff. I saw so many things I wanted to buy, but decided to think about it a little more before I do. On my list is a retro kitchen clock that looks like the one from my childhood, cutting board with a built in lemon zester and knife sharpener, rechargeable lantern in a cherry blossom pattern, air fryer cookbook, onion saver, and a melamine bowl with a cute design on it. The staff was friendly and helpful, and their prices are reasonable. It was such a joy to be back at Domus!

I think I spent at least 20-30 minutes just sniffing and choosing which scents I want for my candle. They gave us a paper and pen to take notes. Too bad one of my favorite scent ran out so I didn't have enough for my candle. It's also great that they gave us an option (free) to make a second/non-decorative candle, because they know it's unlikely we'd want to light up our flower candle. We spent longer than the 90 min we were allotted for the workshop, but we weren't pressured to leave or speed up.

It was really fun to pick candle scents, toppings, and mix colors for the waffle and other decorations. I decided to make a chocolate waffle with chocolate-covered strawberries. The instructor was very nice, helped remelt the wax when it started to harden while stirring, and also made the whipped cream wax (which looked very realistic). The waffle looked so realistic that when I brought it to a restaurant, a waiter told me "no outside food allowed". I was very happy with the final result and it smells so nice. Will definitely be back to make some more candles!

Some of their jewelry is interesting, using local artists, their baby selection of clothing, gift, glass selection, and home decor it is a pretty good mix and always a great place to grab a quick gift. Quite a few things are from Creative Co-op with a 30% to 60 % markup, but that's OK. Pacific Cinics needs to make money. The customer service is abysmal. You do not get greeted ever, even if you pass in front of them and interrupt their conversation to walk between them so you can get through to the the aisle. (I was the only customer they were talking amongst themselves.) After being in the store for approximately five minutes, I decided it was time to go. Didn't see anything I wanted. It's sad to have this level of customer service in our town. If you don't care to be greeted or acknowledged, but only watched to see if you might take something, then this is the place for you. If you're Caucasian, no problem at all you will be greeted and treated like a valued customer.

When I walked in with my water (which I medically need on hand for my medication) an employee aggressively bee-lined right toward me to demand I put it on the sketchy cart. When I explained I had a health requirement, she backed off, but the whole encounter was unpleasant. Management really needs to rethink leaving open customer drinks unattended in a public area, and staff should be trained on how to handle guests with medical needs respectfully instead of immediately cornering them.
