Too bad one of my favorite scent ran out so I didn't have enough for my candle. It's also great that they gave us an option (free) to make a second/non-decorative candle, because they know it's unlikely we'd want to light up our flower candle. We spent longer than the 90 min we were allotted for the workshop, but we weren't pressured to leave or speed up.

It was really fun to pick candle scents, toppings, and mix colors for the waffle and other decorations. I decided to make a chocolate waffle with chocolate-covered strawberries. The instructor was very nice, helped remelt the wax when it started to harden while stirring, and also made the whipped cream wax (which looked very realistic). The waffle looked so realistic that when I brought it to a restaurant, a waiter told me "no outside food allowed". I was very happy with the final result and it smells so nice. Will definitely be back to make some more candles!

I recently was welcomed by "Judy" and "Ann" who were extremely friendly and helpful. I bought a wonderful Simon Pearce serving bowl and trivet, and a beautiful decorative pillow. What makes the Butter Paddle extra special is that it's a non-profit, run completely by volunteers and has been open for over 50 years -- and every purchase supports Pacific Clinics which provides services for at-risk children and families in Santa Clara County. The Butter Paddle is example of "it takes a village" in the lovely village of Los Gatos. You'll be hard pressed not to find something you want to take home or gift to a loved one!

During the pandemic, I thought the store had closed. I was so sad. Maybe they did close temporarily, I don't know. However, I was thrilled to learn they had re-opened their shop on Main St. just a few blocks away! Why didn't anyone tell me!!! I finally visited at their "new" location a few days after Christmas. Azuca has retained the same charm and whimsy that their original store did. It is beautifully merchandised which made me want to linger and look at everything! I was hoping to find some mezuzahs, which I had seen in their store before. Unfortunately, I did not see any. Maybe on my next visit?!!! I'll definitely be back!
