    THE LETTER FROM THE STORE
    Holden G.

Last week I purchased with cash a couple of items in cash, The items were wrapped and I put the change in my pocket and put the items in a bag I was carrying. Hours later when I went to pay for something I expected to pull out $14, but only pulled out $4. I also could not find a receipt. When I was back in town and they were open I told the staff the problem. While the problem was not fixed immediately I knew they had to research and get back to me. I said I would come back Friday when they were open until 8 pm. With a lovely note that I have attached in an envelope was the receipt and $10. No excuses, just a fix ready to go in my hand. They gave my dogs their usual treats. Wow. Epic a customer for life and that goes back as fair as years ago when the shop was on Big Basin Way in Saratoga. The charity the shop supports should be lucky to have them raising money for a good cause.

These darling duck figurines were purchased for my mother's new home. They are well made and fit perfectly in her newly remodeled kitchen.

The Butter Paddle is a treasure unlike any other. My mother and I visited the store while we were in Los Gatos for a wedding. The store was clean, decorated adorably, and the customer service went above and beyond. We had many favorites, but our absolute favorite were the duck figurines. If you are ever in the Downtown area of Los Gatos, make sure you stop by and ask for Linda!

The Butter Paddle has been my go-to store for unique gifts for years and always fun to see what they have new! Their displays are beautifully arranged and wandering through the store, you'll find a variety of gifts including seasonal, collectible, home goods, food items, jewelry and more. Even better, the store is a non-profit business run by friendly volunteers and their profits go to support children & families in crisis through Pacific Clinics. This store is one of the few remaining gift stores and a true gem in the heart of Los Gatos!

Shop and not feel guilty about it? Is that even possible? At the Butter Paddle, you can spend your hard earned cash on some crafty kitchen and home items and have all the proceeds go towards a good cause. This small boutique in downtown Saratoga is staffed by volunteers of EMO Junior Auxiliary that benefits children and family dealing with difficult times. The proceeds go to EMQ Children and Family Services. I appreciated the shop and the friendly staff but the items itself were way overpriced. While I don't mind spending money for a good cause, I couldn't see myself spending money on anything in there. I'm sure it does well though. It was pretty busy and I did see a few items that I liked but nothing to get all crazy about. Albeit, I do enjoy their efforts and I like the idea and the cause.

Fantastic store. Great unique merchandise. Volunteers are very helpful. It's great to shop in a store where all the profits go to charity.

During the pandemic, I thought the store had closed. I was so sad. Maybe they did close temporarily, I don't know. However, I was thrilled to learn they had re-opened their shop on Main St. just a few blocks away! Why didn't anyone tell me!!! I finally visited at their "new" location a few days after Christmas. Azuca has retained the same charm and whimsy that their original store did. It is beautifully merchandised which made me want to linger and look at everything! I was hoping to find some mezuzahs, which I had seen in their store before. Unfortunately, I did not see any. Maybe on my next visit?!!! I'll definitely be back!

It's a cute boutique offering California-made items such as pottery, clothes, skin care products, jewelry, art, and more. The store is nicely organized and their items are neatly displayed. A table with pottery near the entrance caught my eye right away. I also enjoyed checking out the flavored salts and oils for cooking, room diffusers, wall art, and jewelry. I was surprised to see they carry the wonderful Osea skin care products as I didn't know they were made in California. I ended up buying a ceramic spoon rest, room spray, and a tiny gold "diamond" ring. Their prices were reasonable. The store owner rang up my items and was very friendly and nice. I will definitely be back to shop here again.

I bought a tank top and it was $42 which was pretty steep but I didn't mind. Until today, I had washed the top I purchased ONCE and after only 2 or 3 wears it starts pilling almost everywhere! Sometimes the my washer does this which isn't avoidable, but I had washed it with like colors and fabric types so it shouldn't have done this. There's also weird lines in the fabric now so not sure if I would wear this outside my house anymore.
