The air is laced with the soft, intoxicating scent of candles that whisper of Versailles--warm, elegant, and just a little mysterious. Every corner feels intentional, yet effortlessly discovered, as if you've stumbled upon a hidden treasure. The vintage wood cabinets, adorned with delicate carved floral details, hold pieces that feel storied and timeless. You can't help but run your fingers along them, imagining the lives they've lived before finding their way here. Books are tucked in just the right places, each one seeming to promise a journey somewhere romantic--Paris, the countryside, or a forgotten garden. There's a moody iron tulip lamp that glows like a quiet poem, casting shadows that make you want to linger just a little longer. And then, almost like a secret, the plant and floral room tucked in the back--lush, inviting, and softly enchanting--feels like stepping into a hidden conservatory. All it needs is a pebble driveway outside, and you'd swear you've arrived at a European morning dream. Hiram and Diana, love you, I'll be back. Chasity from Mississippi

I have shopped other fine stores for years on the Peninsula and SF, but here is a shop that feels different - European - this place feels unique, esp in our area. The combination of new and antique wares, the flowers, and the artistry in the store design is breathtaking. I love the little kid items and can't wait to see what they are planning for the upcoming fall season when I'm driving through again. I wish I lived closer!

Which suckered me in immediately with its bright vibrant colors and welcoming atmosphere. The owner was very curious why I was snapping so many photos. With more exposure and recognition within the Gilroy community, "Mexican arts and crafts" fanatics have the opportunity to dash in! I totally fell in loooove with Artemex! The cute souvenirs that I know are staples in Mexico are here!!... In Gilroy! How cool is that!?!!! So many hand-crafted items that are perfect for gifts! Though everything is totally overpriced, I appreciated the intricate details of the beaded necklace, cute Frida coin purse with a sturdy zipper, and a commemorative magnet that resembles a dragon to me. The magnet has another meaning to it to Spanish-speaking people but I wasn't able to gather the story and meaning of it. This is the spot if you're into a tourist-like experience miles away from actually being physically in a Spanish-speaking country. It's been a long week so walking around and making selections in this store helped ease my overloaded mind after midterms.

This shopping center is actually older than a couple of years (unlike what "first to review" said)…read more I'd say it's nearing 20 years since its initial development. I've seen several grocery stores come and go from this plaza, starting with Cosentino's. Now it's New Seasons - overpriced, but convenient if you're not looking to travel far. Mega Byte - the pizza place is now gone and currently being replaced by another restaurant owned by the owners of Mexico Lindo, which is also in the plaza. I've never eaten there, nor have I eaten at the Japanese restaurant next to it. They must be good enough to be surviving. There's also a post office - again, convenient. Need a P.O. Box? There you go. Their salon/nail place there is okay. I've never really seen it busy, but when I've gone the customer service is good/friendly. Starbucks - they're faster than the one on San Felipe by EVC, at least in the mornings it seems. There're some nice spots out front to sit if you don't want to listen to tswift and coffee being ground. Other random businesses - vet, dentist, real estate agency, and a karate school. Annoying thing - some parents park in the red zone/curb/middle of the street to drop off or wait for their kid. tl;dr This shopping center's more for convenience, but a bit overpriced. It has some nice seating areas. There are also people who don't know what parking spaces are.
