Food is prepared quickly and correctly every time I have been there. The service is excellent, many customer service people could learn from this staff. The store is very clean, when not super busy, but the staff attend's to the restocking and cleaning of the store as they can. Pretty good place to grab lunch. To go or eat in. Cans and fountain soda with both coke and Pepsi products. Bagel sandwiches for lunch are tasty my favorite is Club on an everything bagel. Easy parking lot to get into and out of. read more

NOTHING like any other BAB I've been to. Consistent with other reviews, coffee was watery and flavorless. Sandwich had very little inside of it. It felt like the owner was cutting back on the quality and quantity to make a profit. Dude, it ain't working! Being fair, the muffins were okay, which is why they got two stars from me. There is a Starbucks and a Subway in this same shopping center. I recommend one of these places instead. read more

I just wanted to say how kind the staff up front has been every time I've been there whether it was picking up a door dash or ordering personally for myself. Not just to me but to every person that came in. Saturday and Sunday morning their lobby was packed and they were kind and helpful to every single person and made everyone a priority and you could physically see everyone still working hard behind the scenes. Nice selection of bagels, cream cheese, sandwiches, and muffins. You can find sweet and savory items. Anything from French toast bagels, to sesame to cheddar jalapeño! Breakfast sandwiches offer plenty of eggs, cheese, ham and bacon. Lunch sandwiches offer plenty of lunch meat as well as chicken salad. They do not have any non dairy cream cheese. I can't comment on the muffins, but they did look nice. You can find blueberry, lemon poppy seed, and chocolate flavored. I've been twice and the food has been good, but I was disappointed in the coffee drink. Very weak. In addition to coffees they had fountain drinks, and smoothies. They looked good. Honestly the best service and food in the area for a quick stop in. This family run location is clean, the staff is friendly and very thoughtful, the food is always fresh including the coffee. Highly recommend stopping in. The northern omelette breakfast sandwich and the Roma Italian lunch sandwich are incredible. Definitely order them on a Swiss melt or cheddar herb bagel. read more

The bagels and employees are good, but the systems are TERRIBLE. There's no reason I should regularly have to wait 20+ minutes to get a bagel with cream cheese. It's quick to put in an order, but by the time your order starts being made, the kind of bagel you picked might be sold out. It seems like they've only got one residential toaster back there, and you can see the residential fridges and microwaves. The poor guy making iced drinks has to go out from behind the bar to the waiting area to fill up on ice, for goodness sake. Everyone is polite and they've got great hustle, but they're not set up for success. read more

If you want COVID....you should go to Big Apple. NO safety precautions in place. I haven't been nervous one time during the pandemic...but we left and threw out our food. They still have a self serve coffee bar (so people touch the creamer and coffee pumps to their continually refilled cups, stir sticks were first in a cup that people kept putting their dirty ones back in with the clean, no one wiping tables, no clear social distancing marks on floor.....yikes....get it together! Waited 25 minutes for coffee...NEVER again! read more

Very long wait and the staff was all over the place and don't make special requests cause they won't do it for you.

The service was the worst I have ever seen. I waited for 15 minutes until someone finally asked if I had gotten my order yet. Come to find out they didn't even turn in my order. The ticket was still at the register. What a joke!!!!! I will never never never go to this waste of space. They in turn were rude like it was somehow my fault that the idiot at the front forgot to turn in my ticket. read more

They need to take the corporate refresher course on baking their blueberry muffins. Had them to often when they don't seem cooked enough. Have eaten at many Big Apple bagels throughout Michigan and their muffins are the weakest. Sorry your coffee is great. read more

Above average bagels (well, for the Midwest anyway -- hehe), stellar service, surprisingly nice atmosphere and decor. Looks newly renovated. A very nice place to sit and eat/drink coffee/chat with locals while waiting for your laundry to dry at the laundromat. read more

I like the place and the food, but the management staff needs some training. I was in there last week and i assume the manager was training a new person and was very rude and wasn't willing to train them. I don't think this was very professional and made my group feel awkward as the mgr didn't try to hide her frustration. Food- is very good. The training mgr- needs some real help. read more
