My partner and I were craving a BLT when we were wandering around downtown Petoskey and stopped into Roast & Toast for a sandwich. I got the soup and half sandwich combo. I guess I should have known that it was self-service soup, but I didn't, and that was a little disappointing but I ordered the BLT and soup, and she told me where to get the soup. This is officially my favorite place in all of Petoskey! It is such a cute breakfast/brunch spot filled with so much CHARM! We actually had a meal here twice - on our way north and 10 days later on the way home. That is an extremely rare thing for us to do since we love trying new places. There were a few older folks in here scattered throughout and they were enjoying the quiet as much as we were. One older dude was a regular and making us laugh by giving the register gal (Hillary) some slack when we asked for napkins. We both died laughing!
