The Tujunga Big 5 Sporting Goods store has a great selection of sporting goods including shoes, clothing, and gear. I bought a tent for a camping trip. The 4th of July specials are great.

Great store for anything sports related. It probably has even more than that too. There's guns/knives all the way to shoes and gear. I always visit if I have any outdoor activities coming up or if we need something for sports. I highly recommend buying workout gear as they've always done me justice. I also highly recommend the sports section everything is name brands and they'll do you good. My favorite aspect of the entirety of the store is that all the items are very reasonable prices, if anything they're too low if such a thing even exists lol. All in all highly recommended, definitely give it a shot.

I bought a baseball bat and a helmet for my daughter on Feb 19. Both items were purchased from this store. They were both sitting in my trunk, new and never used until I brought back to their store, 2 days later on Feb 21, because they sold me a T-ball helmet instead of a baseball helmet. Gil, the cashier, refused to accept the return for both items. The only reason was they don't look new to him. 2 days only. Seriously? The pictures tell everything: the bat is completely wrapped with price tag on. Same thing with the helmet, tags on. Gil had extremely bad attitude, which not only upset me , but also the people who were lining up behind me. Everyone was staring at that ridiculous guy. I suddenly found out that this store only has a TWO STAR review. Hahahaha, my bad. I stepped into a Big Bad shop. No more next visit!

a new Big 5 is now open in La Crescenta! Right across from Albertsons and next to In-n-Out. They gutted and renovated an old liquor store that I never set foot in. The store will never be cleaner, well organized, the employees will never be as cheerful and helpful AS THEY ARE RIGHT NOW. I know, it's a chain store... But one that I have been wishing for in La Crescenta, since like FOREVER. Now I can save myself the long trek to Burbank to score some Nikes or a yoga mat. Actually, I need boxing gloves - and here's just the place... One thing that IS relevant to a newly opened Big 5 - it may take them a while to get their firearm permit stuff in order, so they are heavy on the airsoft rifles, where I would expect some shotguns and larger caliber things in the display rack. So check back later if a box of ammo is on your shopping list. I scored a new beanie baby stocking stuffer for $5.99. Thxs Big 5! I'll be back.

I had to exchange the hiking shoes that I got for a camping trip because they were causing the bottom of my feet to burn.

Marc immediately emailed me introducing himself and asking for details about my inquiry about the Spirit Recumbent Stepper 7.0S. Over the next few hours Marc emailed me answers to all of my questions, included a price quote that beat the lowest I had found, an impressive price quote for White Glove Delivery and assembly, an invoice, a handy payment link, payment acknowledgement and assurance that he would keep me informed. He also contacted the Manufacturer to ensure that their last Spirit Recumbent Stepper 7.0S (in white) would be reserved for me. All of this amazing customer service occurred in less than 24 hours. Best part for me was that Marc gave my communication needs top priority as I am deaf and unable to communicate on the phone. Calls are quick, emails take a bit longer. Marc could have put my inquiry off until it was more convenient for him, but he did the work and took the time to get information to me as if I were standing in front of him. What began as a warm hands off evolved into a highly efficient transaction and a profound show of respect. Thank you Marc.

What a truly fantastic experience from start to finish. From the initial phone call, to visiting…read morethe store, to delivery was a level of customer service rare these days. My wife wanted a recumbent bike and I wanted an elliptical machine. After doing a lot of research I was going to order online but didn't like the idea of such a big purchase without trying it out. All the stores that used to sell equipment were gone. After some google searching I found RX Fitness. They carry higher end brands but still found some in my budget. Plus their delivery fee includes assembly and was 1/3rd the cost of the websites I was looking at. I called and spoke to Charles who confirmed he had the models we wanted you to try. We went after work since they were having a Labor Day sale. He was extremely knowledgeable and went over the products, explained the differences, and had us try everything. Zero pressure sales, just friendly knowledge. After an hour and a lot of sweat we picked the equipment. A Spirit Fitness XBR95 Recumbent Bike and a Vectra 220 Elliptical. I was originally going to get the Spirit elliptical but I really like the feeling of the Vectra better. We purchased on Tuesday and it was delivered Friday. They don't just order from the manufacturer they have their own warehouse inventory and use a dedicated delivery and assembly team. The delivery crew was equally awesome. While building the equipment they talked about workout tips, showed all the features of the equipment, and went over preventative maintenance tips. I totally love our purchases and even on the lowest setting the elliptical is kicking my butt so I look forward to improving my endurance! If you're looking for fitness equipment look no further. They've got several locations. Newport Beach, Anaheim Hills, and Thousand Oaks. They have cardio and weight lifting equipment.

I wish I got the young gentleman's name because it seemed like he was one of the only ones in the store who 1) knew where things were 2) could perform an assigned task 3) actually help us out. The reason I am saying this is because we went to the cash register upstairs and the cashier was uncertain that the service was downstairs. Not a big deal, she radioed them and confirmed where we could go. Easy. We go downstairs and show that cashier the glove (brand new, just bought for christmas) and that guy did not know how to do the steaming services, which was also fine because he asked another staff member who helped us, HOWEVER, the first guy told us the cost of it (which there is no cost because after a certain price glove it is a free service). The second guy (bless him) corrected him and stated the price of the glove and why it's free. As the worker was breaking in the glove the other guy cashier asked him multiple questions about where things were, if they did certain services, if he could help this other guest. Honestly that cashier guy was doing NOTHING. This is all in the midst of our guy fitting the glove which consists of steaming and banging it with a mallet which could be dangerous! Just seemed like an unprofessional thing to do. Now maybe this guy was new so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but seriously it seemed like he didn't even bother trying to figure it out on his own before turning the the gentleman helping us. All in all the service was great, he was knowledgeable and answered the questions we had! It seemed like there was a large selection of inventory and some decent sales. I would go back if I needed something from dick's specifically
