Update 06/17/25 This location is still awesome. The store is clean and organized, very friendly sales associate today, and the pricing on most items was good. I came in for protein, but thanks to Ash's helpful advice, I ended up grabbing some probiotics too, zero pressure, one time she even called another store to reserve a product I needed. That level of service is rare. That said, I'd recommend checking the website first before heading in sometimes they run low on protein or creatine options. Also, the loyalty program push can feel a little strong at times, but it's manageable. Overall, this is a great spot for anyone into health, fitness, or just trying to take better care of their body. Highly recommended read more

Jordan helped me out and was great! He showed me various options of supplements and suggested what he thinks was best.

It's been a while since I last posted a review so I also wanted to thank Helyah for the good deal as well. She was very helpful and explained about the delivery process in case I want the supplement delivered to my house which I did. She was also very welcoming and already knew what I usually buy which is great. If you have any questions ask her she'll help you out. read more

Great shop with a lot of options, love the whole area because it's across the street from Whole Foods as well! Best of both worlds

Rude employees, useless management, and carless corporate staff. I've been a customer of this location since it opened. They lost a customer for simply not price matching. This came from Stefanie, the store manager, too. She didn't adhere to the price matching policy and even tried to charge me for shipping when we came to an agreement on a store she was OK price matching with. Will report to the better business bureau for this attempted theft read more

The Vitamin Shoppe - Adult must haves lol - Vitamins & Supplements Near Me - Glendale, California

It's errand day, so I decided to check out The Vitamin Shoppe in Glendale. It's conveniently located across from WholeFoods and the parking was easily accessible. Upon entering the store Armando greeted me and asked if I needed help finding anything... I did! Armando not only assisted me with finding the supplement I was looking for, but he educated me on the difference in products and benefits. He was very helpful! Having the additional information I am very confident that the supplement I chose is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Armando for providing great customer service, making sure I was comfortable understanding not only my options, but the difference and benefits too! I appreciate you! Also, thank you Louie for seeing if I needed additional assistance and providing some laughs during checkout. Customer Service trumps everything and I was very pleased with the overall customer service I received. Armando and Louie, keep up the great customer service. I look forward to my next visit. read more

HELYA and STEVEN always go out of their way to make me feel at HOME! I have shopped in Vitamin Shoppe for over 25+ years mostly in Laguna Niguel where I lived most of my life. Because my office is in GLENDALE i go often to GLENDALE and I have found the GLENDALE STORE extremely friendly and helpful. NO DRAMA EVER! I am temporarily in the LONG BEACH AREA and I avoid the "little store" in LONG BEACH because the service sucks, their supplies are always low, and when i don't have a bag the manager makes sure I GET CHARGED for it! WTF! So many times i drive the extra distance to BELLFLOWER because, again, I feel like I walking into a "Garden" in BELLFLOWER. Yesterday I was in Glendale for some business and I had to spend 300 US dollars and chose to shop at GLENDALE because it's a NO DRAMA EVENT! I put my money where I get service. GLENDALE is a SUPER STORE! read more

This is the most convenient location on the way home from work. They always have the best prices in town. If the price is cheaper online, they will adjust it accordingly. Lola is the manager at this location, she has great knowledge on many supplements. So I constantly buy from this store and I hardly return anything unless I really have to. So one day I had to return an item but I didn't have my receipt and of course the two people at the counter asked for my ID and I had the debit card I paid with but it didn't seem like enough. These two people were very rude one of the workers was named Liz and the other girl had black hair and light skin. Well either way I think when you work you should have better customer service skills you shouldn't be rude whether you're buying or returning merchandise. I feel like these people lack skill in communication. I've worked in customer service for many years and I've never treated people like this but that's just me. I hope I never have to come back to this store to be treated rude. read more

I have been coming to this store for all my life, from their very nice design inside, to their wide variety of selections the vitamin shoppe is a store who has earned a loyal customer. Helya a hard working assistant manager who is always willing to help you with any questions, and is always here to talk and make your day better. Steven who went from a random employee I would say hi to, to a good friendship I built. Armen always here to answer questions about college and life. Diana always working hard and has a smile on her face. Menua is always happy and hard working, while taking the time to discuss fun topics like cars. Stephanie is a hard working manager who takes her job and customer satisfaction very seriously. Then there's Armando a very happy faced, bright person, who treats every customer with utmost respect and dignity. read more

I am a brand loyalist.... I have always bought my supplements from The Vitamin Shoppe since they were the first nutrition store that offered a "rewards club." Since I work in the area- the 401 N. Glendale Ave is my go to store. For the most part all their employees can answer my questions regarding supplements and the pro's/con's. However there are two employees I know will give me good info, Jaci and Christian. Christian helped me today, explaining the reformulating of the "MHP" products I buy. Christian remembered the different supplements I have bought in the past and helped me to find similar products that Vitamin Shoppe still carries. Christian took a lot of his time to help go over the product ingredients with me after asking what type of workouts I am currently doing. (Strength training, endurance, HIIT... all require different supplemental needs.) Christian also asked about my age and afternoon energy levels. These too were factored in to his recommendations. With the millions of supplements on the market, name brands may not always be the best product. Also with the different types of workouts and diets not everyone needs to take a ton of supplements. Christian took the time to explain to me why I could save my money and not buy some categories of supplements while stressing the importance of others. If you take your conditioning seriously- Christian is a wealth of knowledge to help give the extra advantage you need to be successful training and recuperating. read more

The online Vitamin Shoppe is the biggest scam in the world... I have twice bought products on promotions which promised points or cash back... **update** Came here to grab some protein shake and pre work out stuff. Sweet employee helped me out to find just what I needed. I asked her what pre work out drinks she recommended and she showed me a few. She asked me if there was something in particular I was looking for, and I told her no, but just something that won't increase my liver enzymes. She then asked me how is that so (kinda with an attitude), and I gave her a brief explanation. I think she got offended and just walked away, and stopped helping me. Ooops. read more

Came here for the first time a week or two ago (we've been longtime GNC fans) after looking up a product that we wanted to buy, but didn't want to wait for the GNC sale, and RedLaser said that it was much cheaper here. So, off we went. And ohhh, like a kid in the candy shop. Fast forward to four months later, because looks like I never finished this review back in June. Bottom line, we've been repeat customers ever since. Great and easy parking, good deals & pleasant service. read more

My favorite store! I always pass by this store and I would usually just go to the Whole Foods by it. Well, since I've visited Vitamin Shoppe, I'll only get my probiotics and supplements from here. First off, prices are a lot more reasonable than Whole Foods. Don't get me wrong; Whole Foods is still awesome. But if you want a more affordable solution, this is the place. Second, the employees are super sweet and helpful. I signed up to their membership because I know I'm going to come back here for my daily supplements. Parking lot is right by the store. It is convenient but since the lot is not too big, I'm sure it can be busy. Regardless, you won't be there too long because the employees will take good care of you. :) read more

"You have to check yourself before you wreck yourself" LOL!!! Check your BREATH first before you give me a headache! Lol! Sorry but one of them has halitosis. This has been my one stop shop when I needed supps quick. I don't mind them being rude or cocky or whatever. I just want them to be knowledgeable abt the products and not give me attitude when I asked. They're suppose to help you decide what's good and bad product but no, they want to be a$$h0/3$! Fine by me, hope they are happy with thier jobs... And life. Adios!!! read more

Nice parking lot. Plenty of space. Inside is wide and clean with plenty of shelves stocked for your healthy lifestyle needs The customer service at this location leaves something to be desired tho. This is a good vitamin shoppe. Great selection. Retail prices (you can find cheaper on the internet). Reasonable return policies and decent customer service. Sure, you get the occasional bonehead who has no idea what he's talking about and then tries to sell you a product (the bottle said "augmented protein" and the employee told me it had a lot of "augment.") But a lot of the time you get someone who is pretty knowledgeable and you get accumulated "points" at the end of the year where they send you a coupon based on what you spent. All in all, a good place for your fitness-supplement and vitamin needs. Also a great selection of cold single-serve ready-to-drink protein shakes (isopure, syntha-6, met-rx) and protein bars too. Make sure to get a free healthy awards account (they can make it your phone number) so that you get a coupon at the beginning of the next year and ask if they have discounts for yelpers. http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/content/en/support/help/frequent_buyer.jsp;jsessionid=1A5GPCI3VZCYUCQUC4YFAGIKCQL00UNE?
