I visited this place once or a couple times in the past. But one day, I needed to switch on protein supplements and so I happen to come and find this place that carries the brand that I needed. Wide variety of protein, pre-workouts, and intra workouts as well. I even found some brands that they carry that doesn't normally have in the local supplement stores in near the valley. I am so glad that they carry the brand that I have decided to switch. There other supplements that I have yet to try. Ordering online was a breeze! Customer service top noch. Great selection of whey isolates and concentrates, as well as protein snacks/ food items. Will continue to use this service as needed. My boyfriend and I always get so excited to go to Get Yok'd because we always feel welcomed. They have a variety of brands that help you on your fitness journey. All the staff is knowledgeable and very approachable. You always feel comfortable asking questions if needed. I've gone to other nutrition shops and it's just not the same. This is the only place I go to for nutritional and supplemental boosts to my workout. The prices are unbeatable, the selection is unmatched, and the amazing staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. They require USPS signature at time of delivery. The problem is USPS is too lazy to knock on doors so I end up having to pick it up from USPS. It's too inconvenient for me to order from Get Yok'd. Also I have emailed their customer support twice and never received a response. read more

Best supplement shop around! I shop here pretty much exclusively. I send all my trainers, clients and friends here when they ask for supplements. As a personal trainer and gym owner I have extensive knowledge about supplementation. These guys also know their supplements. Not like the chain places that sell u supps cause their expensive or pushed by their bosses. Great customer service every time. I always have fun chatting up the crew about new & classic products. Been shopping at this place for quite sometime and this place by far has the best supplements from all the other nutrition stores around. They carry a lot of brands that you will only find online e.g blackstone labs etc. they have the best prices around for protein bars and they will price match any supplement as well just as long as it if from a reputable website, e.g bodybuilding.com. This is my go-to place in town for supplements. I recently purchased some new flavors (one at the recommendation of their super helpful and knowledgeable sales associate), and I've been very happy with their taste and performance. I'm a big fan of the Dymatize line and they have practically everything in stock. I was also turned onto Metabolic Nutrition BCAAs in green apple. This stuff really helps with recovery, especially since I took up 2-a-days! I look forward to trying another flavor in this brand. Their prices are also super competitive and they recently started price matching by beating online retailers by $1. All in all, I really love this place as they have so much variety in such a compact space, and it's super convenient when I realize I'm down to my last couple scoops and I need to restock ASAP! read more

I can't recommend this place enough. First time here and Josh helped me. His knowledge was through the roof. He went above and beyond . He answered all of my questions perfectly. History

Established in 2013.

Get Yok'd Nutrition started in a garage in Burbank. Sarb was managing a bank branch by day and filling supplement orders for friends at night, working out of boxes stacked in the media capital of the world. The problem he was solving was his own. He'd been lifting since a 10th grade weight training class and had spent years reading labels, trying to sort real formulas from good packaging. Most stores either pushed whatever paid best or couldn't answer a basic question. He wanted a place that did neither. The garage became this store. This store became five, across Burbank, Glendale, North Hollywood, and Pasadena, with a sixth opening in Northridge. We employ a team that depends on this business, and we take that as seriously as anything else we do. Everything the company is now started on this block.

Meet the Business Owner: Sarbeg D.

I found lifting in a 10th grade weight training class and never really left. What hooked me almost as much as the training was the supplement aisle. The packaging, the claims, the rows of tubs all promising something different. I wanted to know what was real and what was marketing. By 23 I was managing a Wells Fargo branch. The job was fine. The drive and the hours weren't, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I was pouring everything into something that would never be mine. At night I filled orders out of my garage in Burbank, and that was the part of the day I actually looked forward to. I opened Get Yok'd because I wanted a place where anybody could walk in and ask a question without feeling stupid. First-time gym member or ten years in, same real answer. No judgment, no upsell. Burbank is where it started. Thank you for being the reason it kept going.

Horrible customer service. Ordered one bottle of product. check the tracking every day for 7 days straight and USPS tracking still sitting at "shipping label created, still waiting for product. how long does it take to put one bottle in the mailbox? I sent an email asking whether or not they have the product or if this is scam? Also if they were just out of stock just tell me and refund me. I'm not waiting a month for something I paid for when I'm on a budget. especially when there are hundreds of other websites that do have it in stock. Apparently reading hurts their brains as well because my email was lengthy (to them I guess) and instead of answering my questions, the reply was "that's some crazy talk. chill out bro, nothing is that serious". that was it how the hell does this place have good reviews? they must pay people with the money they get from scamming people online or they just use bots. how hard is it to reply to an email with an answer as to why it's taking so long? It's easy you just say "oops sorry we're out of stock", or "oops sorry we forgot to put your order in the mail, it'll be in the mail today. here's a discount on your next order. sorry for the inconvenience". see how easy that was? you slimy pieces of trash. I have been to many stores that sell nutritional and sports enhancing supplements over the years; however, most, if not all, pale in comparison to this store and it's other locations. Not only are the prices great and the selections fantastic, but the staff is very knowledgeable. The is a key and vital component; especially, when seeking help and advice in regards to supplements! On several occasions, I've had the pleasure of being assisted by Julian Vada. His vast knowledge has been conducive in helping me reach my personal fitness goals! He takes great pride in what he does! It's great to see someone being passionate about what they do.. I've encountered the opposite at other health supplement stores, with individuals being complacent and non-receptive to my needs... I come to this place really often, beforehand I've never even heard of Get Yok'd until I moved to California. It's been a blessing being able to walk right next door to this nutrition store. I got to give my utmost respect to JOSH! Every time I come in looking for a product or not sure what I'm trying to get, he's always there to help! He always has great sense of what I need and what would work best for me. He has great advice and pointers on products, he is well informed on the products. Especially, today when I was struggling to figure out a good pre workout, even though I didn't buy due to my financial budget at the moment. As expected bad experience , came to buy gold standard protein had 10% coupon and work at gym more 5 % they dont want to use it , and instead pushing like crazy to buy elite whey cheap protein . I'm able to find black market preworkout here. Sometimes they run out of options when it comes to flavors and I have to buy the same one that I'm not so fond of which usually ends up being orange mango I believe... other than that, staff is super friendly and usually helpful although i believe people go in and out and pick up the same products most of the time.
