I came across Toyota of Redlands and noticed that their online price was very reasonable. I called ahead to make sure they had plenty of the pink coolant in stock. I also asked if the online price was the same price I would pay if I purchased it at the dealership. The employee I spoke with confirmed that the online price was the same as the in-store price, so I decided to make the trip and purchase the coolant. When I arrived, I was greeted by Adrian in the Parts Department. I explained that I had called a few days earlier and was there to purchase the Pink Coolant. However, when Adrian gave me the price, I noticed it was higher than the online price. He explained that the online price and in-store price were different. I told him that the employee I had spoken with previously had specifically confirmed that I would pay the same price at the dealership. Although the previous employee had given me incorrect information, Adrian handled the situation in a way that really stood out to me. He could have simply charged me the regular in-store price, but instead, he took the initiative to honor the online price as a one-time courtesy. I was very grateful for what he did. It wasn't necessarily about the price difference--it was the fact that Adrian took ownership of the situation and made sure I left feeling valued as a customer. His professionalism, understanding, and willingness to make things right turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a very positive one. Overall, my personal experience with the Toyota of Redlands Parts Department was great, and Adrian's customer service made a lasting impression on me. In my personal opinion, I would definitely recommend their Parts Department in my personal opinion. I will also be returning in the future whenever I need Toyota parts or accessories. Thanks again, Adrian, for going above and beyond!

I would like to take a moment to share my experience with Toyota of Redlands today. I have always…read morehad pleasant experiences here in the past, which is why today's experience was especially disappointing. I brought my car in because I had been hearing a noise coming from the driver's side for several weeks. After waiting a little over two hours, I was contacted by Steve, the service manager, and was told that there was nothing wrong with my car. I explained that I disagreed with the diagnosis because I could clearly hear the noise while driving. I was told that they have the best technicians and that if the technician didn't hear anything, then there was nothing wrong. I was essentially told that if I continued to hear the noise in a few more weeks, I could bring the car back and wait again to have it checked. As I was walking out, I decided to stop and speak with someone else because I knew something was wrong with my car. Thankfully, I spoke with Alex, who was extremely kind and helpful. He brought over Jimmy from the body shop, and these two gentlemen immediately took my concern seriously. They took me outside and quickly found a large nail in my tire. I was shocked because this was something that should have been identified during a thorough inspection, especially after I specifically brought the vehicle in because of a noise coming from that area. Jimmy then got in the car with me and took it for a drive. Within 10-20 seconds, he heard the exact noise I had been complaining about for the past three weeks. This was despite being told that the technician, Robbie, had completed a full diagnosis and found nothing wrong. I am very confused and concerned by this experience. If Alex and Jimmy had not taken the time to listen to me and actually investigate the issue, I would have left believing there was nothing wrong with my car -- when there was clearly an issue that was noticeable almost immediately. I am extremely grateful to Alex and Jimmy for their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to listen to me when I knew something wasn't right. They are the reason this issue was finally identified. However, I am very disappointed with the way my concerns were handled by Steve and with the diagnosis performed by Robbie. This experience has left me questioning whether my vehicle was actually inspected as thoroughly as I was told it was. I have trusted Toyota of Redlands for my vehicle, and after today, I hope management takes this situation seriously and looks into what happened. Customers should feel confident that when they bring their vehicle in with a specific concern, that concern is genuinely investigated -- especially when the customer is telling you they can hear and feel something is wrong.

Before taking it in, I had no known coolant leak, and the vehicle was in good condition. In fact we Just got back from Yosemite. After the truck had been at the dealership for two days, a dealership manager named Cody told me they had found a coolant-system leak and that I would have to pay approximately $1,500 for the repair. Because I had brought the vehicle in without any known coolant problem, I immediately contacted MOPAR for help and asked whether the leak could be related to the recall service. Unfortunately, I was not able to get the issue resolved. I declined the $1,500 repair and picked up my vehicle. I was not told that the coolant leak was still present, and I was not warned that it could be unsafe to drive. About 10 miles after leaving the dealership, I noticed the engine was steaming. When I arrived home and opened the hood, it appeared that the vehicle was almost out of coolant. I was also shocked to discover a long screwdriver left inside the engine compartment. I had already driven the vehicle home with the tool still sitting inside the engine bay. There is another issue that concerns me. Cody sent me photographs of what he claimed was my old radiator. However, when I took my own photographs of the radiator on my truck, it appeared almost brand new. Because I wanted an independent opinion, I asked my independent mechanic to inspect and investigate the situation. During his inspection, he found that the radiator had a scratch running from the top to the bottom. This raised additional concerns for me about the condition of the radiator and what may have happened while my vehicle was at the dealership. I am not accusing anyone of wrongdoing based solely on this finding, but I believe the condition of the radiator should be documented and independently reviewed, especially given the photographs Cody provided and the fact that the coolant problem was identified only after the vehicle had been at the dealership for two days. To be clear, I am not claiming that the dealership caused the coolant leak as a fact. I am asking reasonable questions because I brought the vehicle in without a known leak, was told two days later that it had a leak requiring a $1,500 repair, and then experienced steaming and an apparent loss of coolant about 10 miles after leaving the dealership. I would like answers to these questions: -Could the coolant leak be related to Recall 67C? -Why was I not warned about the active leak before driving away? -Why did the engine begin steaming approximately 10 miles after leaving? -Why was the vehicle apparently almost out of coolant when I opened the hood? -Why was a long screwdriver left inside my engine compartment? -Why did the radiator have a scratch running from the top to the bottom? -Can the dealership verify that the radiator shown in Cody's photographs was actually from my vehicle? -Why did the radiator in my photographs appear almost brand new compared with the photographs Cody provided? -Why am I being asked to pay approximately $1,500 for this repair? -Will MOPAR/Stellantis assist in resolving this matter? I have documentation, photographs, recall paperwork, dealership paperwork, photographs provided by Cody, and information from my independent mechanic that I can provide to support my concerns. UPDATE: 9/10/26 Stellantis, the parent company, is now communicating with me regarding this situation. They asks me to bring my truck back to dealership. But I asked a different dealership to fix it. I appreciate that they are taking the time to review my concerns. At this point, I am hoping they will investigate what happened, review the dealership's work and documentation, and help determine whether the coolant issue is connected in any way to the recall service. Updates : 9/18/26 Fontana, the other dealership, they asks me to pay $2500 to fix the REDLANDS intentional faults. Me & my wife are so frustrated that cannot eat, work and sleep well because of this stress I will keep everyone updated as I receive more information. I hope this situation can be resolved fairly and that I can get clear answers about what happened to my vehicle. I am not looking to accuse anyone without evidence. I simply want transparency, accountability, and a fair resolution So it won't again happen to anyone

Dropped it off on Wednesday, May 7th and were told that it might stay over the weekend and we would get a phone call with an update. Two days passed and we hadn't heard anything. So we call the service department on the 9th and they say they'll call us back later that day. We never got a call back. We call them again on the 10th and the person who answered says they are short staffed because of Mother's Day and could not give us an update on the car, again saying they'll call back. Two more days passed without any contact at all so we call again on Monday the 12th to ask about the car. The person on the phone asks if we got the right location because they can't find any information about us or the car we dropped off. At this point we were obviously concerned, so we drove to the location around 1pm to speak to them in person. The guy asks for our last name, and when we tell him, he says he can't find anyone in the system with that name. Thankfully, we brought a spare key and were able to prove that the Kona in their lot was ours. The guy then explains that they hadn't even looked at the car, that they only had one EV mechanic, and that they were going to get started on it that afternoon. Again, saying we would receive a call. We never received a call that day. They finally took a look at the vehicle on the 13th or 14th, a whole week after we brought it in. And WE had to be the ones to contact them to get an update. They had told us the car "stopped charging" all of the sudden and they already ordered a part that was going to take an entire month to arrive. It was frustrating having the car at this location without any updates or follow-through on communication. Not to mention not even having our correct information in their system. We would understand if they had been honest and explained to us from the beginning that they were busy and wouldn't be able to look at the car until a week later. But keeping us in the dark about everything was super unprofessional. I was also 8 months pregnant and working at this point so having transportation was essential for us at this time. It would have been the bare minimum to be taken into consideration and communicated to as the costumer. Eventually, they gave us a loaner and we didn't get the car back until 5 weeks later. And now we have to deal with visible damage to the front bumper which was never there before. In addition, it looked like someone intentionally unplugged our dash cam and didn't bother to set it back up before returning the car to us, so the cable was just hanging there in front of the windshield. I assume they didn't want to be liable for anything that might have been caught on camera while working on the car or taking it out for drives? That felt sketchy. Oh, and a noticable sticky stain was left on the floor that smelled like monster energy drink, along with greasy fingerprints all over the dash. I'm assuming they took the car out to grab lunch? It was in mint condition when we left it. Seeing the other negative reviews, I know others have experienced similar things. I should have looked before deciding where to go. Since then, we've taken the car to Riverside Hyundai and it's a night and day difference. Pleasant people to work with, smooth communication and quick service.

I dealt with a sales person who was very kind in the beginning and then as time and discussions with sales managers on duty became more nefarious. I was told multiple times that they would run both our credit, or put us together to purchase the vehicle ... lie! They just continued to use his account. They repeatedly asked us to just go ahead and surrender our vehicle to Nissan, stating that "we don't need to worry, they wouldn't collect on the surrender". We didn't need to worry at all as they have people who look at these things and tell them it's not worth it and that it would benefit my husbands credit if we surrendered instead of hurting it.. in the long run... sounded fishy to me too!! My husband and I are not those kind of people, and I was prepared to walk away. They panicked and began to "run more numbers and I was given a specific price and because the account is under my husband's name and is currently injured, the sales people transferred and emailed all of these papers to him. He even had the sales person from Nissan come down to our house to get him to sign the paperwork. They didn't go over it with me, didn't go over anything with him, no one informed him of pricing structure, cost of the vehicle, anything. Sadly, we believed them and the price we were offered, we were so wrong!! Shady things are happening at Nissan of Redlands!! We were under the impression that it would be a certain price and we got our first bill from the company that took over the financing and It was significantly higher than we were told. In all the time I've purchased cars I've never gotten counter offer letters, we're now receiving several with counter offers stating this is how much we can offer you if you choose to take this as a counter offer. But now after reaching out to Nissan, they're telling me oh well this is kind of what you just have to deal with. I should just get rid of them and that they do this all the time. I should also just deal with it and understand that the amount you got is the amount you're gonna have to stick with... oh well! I have been told that I can come down and talk to the finance person. Andy if I want to. I was told several times over the last couple of days tbat the GSM, Andy and the Customers service manager would want to hear my story. As of this writing (one day later), Phil Jimenez the sales manager on the floor today said, there's not gonna be much he can do, but I can come down to speak with Andy if I want, or the manager on duty, tomorrow. According to the current manager on duty 9/19/2026 - Phil Jimenez informed me that there's no one above him there because the owner won't speak to people and there's no one else in their corporation will talk to me because they're just a corporation (he wasnt even sure what they were named) - Nissan of Redlands Association or something. It was very difficult speaking with this individual representing Nissan because it's painfully obvious once they had your money, they don't give a shit anymore. They've gotten exactly what they want from us, they've made a sale and from that moment on you're just a number ! PLEASE CONSUMERS BE WARY OF NISSAN OF REDLANDS AND THEIR NEFARIOUS, NO LONGER CUSTOMER CONCERNED FOCUS!! I can tell you once this car is done this will be the last time we'll be doing business here, possibly with Nissan at all.
