This place is much smaller than I thought it was gonna be - but I love how intimate and divey it is! The specialty cocktails are only $11 which is so cheap for New York and in general. I got the Moscow mule, frozen candy cane, and Butterbeer. The drinks are strong! This place is such a hidden gem. I'll definitely be back.

I always have a fun time at biddys. I especially love their bingo and coming during the holiday time. The decor for the holidays is phenomenal. The holiday drinks like the peppermintini is my favorite. The espresso martinis are always great too. I recently went to the gingerbread decorating event and had a lot of fun. The service is always friendly and attentive.

We came here for trivia on Thursday and it was extremely packed! I would recommend getting there over an hour early to hold a table. It was super fun and chaotic, but the drinks were cheap and good. Our duo got around 8 drinks and it was only ~$58. Their fancy seasonal cocktails are more expensive; however super tasty :)

We always have a good time at Biddy's. Our neighbourhood bar that's more of an extension of our living room. They're a ton of places on the UES that are total bougie nightmares but Biddy's keeps is simple. The bartenders are chill and funny and the whole environment is very Cheers-y. Happy Hour ends at 8 and there have been a couple nights I've lost more than a few hours in this bar.

Initially I wasn't feeling this place but after a while I'm really digging it. I love the classic music I grew up listening to and the bartender/ whoever he is lol is a funny guy very friendly .It's a small spot but it's not loud & obnoxious and vibes are awesome I'll come back

Such a fun place. We love coming for bingo and trivia, and the bartenders are so friendly. And they allow dogs! They even hosted a paint and sip night.

Nice Little dive bar. The music is chill and classic and the COCONUT PINEAPPLE RUM PUNCH IS OUT OF THIS WORLD, HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! Again, it's a small a small bar with good vibes and very good drinks They also have a $6 wheel (pictured) where you can spin and get anything it lands on. It makes for a very very fun drunk random special. This is a pregame spot and an after-game spot. Definitely a date spot if you want to impress an out-of-towner and seem like a local

My partner and I came here to get drinks and kill time before dinner so I can only speak on the bar…read moreand not the food. The bar was across from the restaurant in a separate room. The main bar area was connected to a billiards room with some additional seating. I loved the ambiance, the decor was sophisticated and interesting and the space felt intimate and calm. My partner and I enjoyed our drinks and played billiards, alternating rounds with a group of guys that were hanging out there too. They were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. My partner ordered the Ambassador and I ordered the Milk Punch per the bartenders recommendation. Looking at the menu I didn't know what I should get so I asked the bartender for recommendations and he was very knowledgeable and let me try a sample of the tequila used in the Milk Punch. I was a big fan of it, it had a tart yogurty flavor kinda similar to Milkis or other Asian yogurty flavored drinks. I had a sip of the Ambassador and it was also pretty good, I enjoyed snacking on the dried pear afterwards.

Fortunately, it was an early Sunday evening and the patrons had not slammed the place. I ordered a nice draught pint and the chicken wings, extra crispy, which they were. However, they could accompany them with a few carrot and celery sticks for the great blue cheese dip. The bed of shredded lettuce had to do. The kitchen was again in good form, when I ordered the grilled Reuben with fries. Food here is not skimpy and I had half the Reuben and fries to go. There are better Reubens in this City, but your attention here is on the televised sports, conversation with your date or friends, people watching, or the Irish pub scene generally. The value proposition is well and good here. I ordered the pork chops and lamb chops to go with mashed potatoes, broccoli and salad. Both are delicious, even better than the lauded Reuben actually. Add in another beer and the bill topped out just under a Benjamin before taxes and tip, again we are in Midtown or Chelsea. Two things: Their website does not work if you want delivery and they only answered the phone once for delivery; though, I have tried several times. Some may not like the narrow men's restroom, but this is a pub in a city with plenty of small facilities and this is not a fancy establishment. Come and enjoy yourself.

Our waitress, Eleni, was fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations that enhanced our visit. The food and drinks were outstanding. We were so impressed with Eleni's service that we made sure to share our compliments with the manager, who was also a pleasure to speak with. Fortunately, The Grey Dog's Chelsea location had a large picnic table in the back (and yes, we had to make a reservation in advance). Even so, the seating was a bit tight and uncomfortable. FRIED CHICKEN & JOHNNY CAKES - 18 I wanted a mix of sweet and savory, so this option seemed like a good one. Each order came with two strips of fried chicken tenders placed on top of two large cornmeal pancakes, each bigger than my face. The fried chicken was heavily-breaded (perhaps a bit too much), with white chicken meat underneath that varied between juicy and dry The pancakes themselves were pretty forgettable, and I wasn't a big fan of the lemon ricotta or chili-spiced syrup on the side. Most of our group found their entrees pretty underwhelming. Additionally, service was really slow, and the kitchen forgot an order. Personally, I wouldn't return, especially with so many other great options within two minutes walk away. Edit: Owner pointed out that their chicken is not breaded. What I meant is that the chicken is heavily-battered. Sorry!

It took a bit to be seated and the waiting area is a little cramped, so be prepared for that. The decorations here are next level! Everywhere you look, there is something. It's worth it to just come here for the decorations! I had the wicked witch cocktail. It wasn't to sweet, but had a great pandan flavor. Super unique! The green color is perfect and it is topped with a mini broom and hat, which you can keep. The food was good, but nothing special. My favorite thing we had was the buffalo cauliflower app. It was great! I had the beet salad with grilled chicken and we split the truffle fries. The salad was good, but the chicken needed more seasoning. The truffle fries were ok and desperately needed salt. The service was also a little disjointed, as we had many different servers waiting on us. Overall, come for the decorations and drinks! Food is good if you're hungry, but I would eat somewhere else next time.

Raines Law Room Chelsea is one of those places where the experience starts before you even sit…read moredown. The unmarked entrance and doorbell immediately set the tone, and once inside it feels like you stepped out of Manhattan and into a dark, old New York cocktail lounge. The velvet seating, curtains, low lighting, and little private nooks make the whole place feel intimate without being gimmicky. That atmosphere is very much intentional. The Chelsea location is the original Raines Law Room and is built around that hidden speakeasy experience. The cocktails were beautifully presented, and I liked that this felt like a place where you could actually sit with friends and have a conversation rather than compete with loud music. We also ordered some meat, cheese, olives, and crackers for the table, which was perfect alongside the drinks without turning the night into a full dinner. What stood out most to me was how cohesive everything felt. The drinks, glassware, lighting, service style, and decor all fit the same mood. It feels refined and special without trying too hard. Pay special attention to the bathroom wall art. Definitely not an inexpensive night out, but for a true New York cocktail bar experience, I thought Raines Law Room was absolutely worth visiting. This would be especially good for a date night or drinks with a small group.
