Love this place as a local option. It feels warm inside and they added a pool table which was a good addition. Bar staff is always chill and the big screen is great for watching football. Their menu has evolved and it's really good and fresh for a neighborhood bar. They rotate out their draft beers so nice that it's not just the standard beers most bars have. Super Bowl was great, Bad Bunny packed the house (tho we love it during quiet afternoons when we get it to ourselves, ha!). $1 dogs at night is sweet, tho we aren't always around at night. read more

If you're looking for a quick cheap bite, no better place than this for $1 hot dog with purchase of $5 drink (the classic options) but if you're someone that doesn't like taste of alcohol, they have the best shot that doesn't taste like alcohol much - The Slammit Green Tea They also had the best lemon (maybe lime too?) vodka drink. In all honesty... I've been living in the neighborhood for 2 years now. I've been to this bar a total of 3 times. First time the bar was empty and my friend and I sat at the bar. The Hispanic long haired bartender looked very zoned out and not very friendly. Thought I'd never come back due to the dull atmosphere. Yes I get it it's a locals bar but that doesn't mean leave your bar looking like it's not maintained at all. Second time I ended up heading there and met a new bartender that I found out worked at Hoexters. This kind of past experience he had and the hospitality he gave me was the only reason why I came back for my third visit. My third and final visit last night. The Super Bowl. We got there nice and early and were able to secure good seats. Unfortunately tonight looked liked a night this bar team was not able to handle at all. The Hispanic bartender and the other bartender with a rat tail both looked like they were mentally checked out. They were constantly in their own conversation ignoring guests, pouring each other shots of tequila, and when they did finally see us and get our drink order they didn't even smile which is so important when being a bartender. I'd rather not bring into the conversation the consistent sniffing the rat tail bartender was doing which makes me believe he was on drugs. The only reason we picked this bar again was because they have multiple tvs to watch the half time show. When the halftime show finally came on we all find out that the sound system doesn't work. A lot of people were upset by this and the bartenders said it went down this morning. This is just another example of the lack of any care these owners are putting into this place. When the female manager/owner finally came out of the basement she was screaming at the bartenders. The only other time we saw her on this busy night was to leave during halftime show. As for the food: fries were extremely greasy, chicken wings were over cooked and the hot dog was okay. I peaked over the counter and saw the guy cooking the food stumbling while he had a couple of modela cans on his station. Not a single person working was sober that night. And disappointed beyond belief to see how much this owner doesn't see what's happening right underneath them or they don't care. This place needs better management of everything. read more

Lexington Publick was in the news recently. Since they started trivia nights they increased their post pandemic numbers by 50%. The place gets packed with people that love to guess the answers to trivia questions just like playing Trivial Pursuit at home! So if you prefer to socialize outside of the confines of your apartment while enjoying the game, this is the place for you. Especially if you're single. You never know who you'll meet. While you're there check out the wide variety of Hot Dogs they serve. They definitely have a unique menu. read more

This pub replaced what used to be The Rochard. Not sure if it's the same owner and that they decided to just change up the name. This is for sure a local bar, not one where college kids invade the space and turn it into a party. They have a unique draft menu that my friend and I appreciate. They're lacking on the bar food, as they only serve hot dogs, wings, and fries essentially. Wished they would expand their menu to other items. read more

We were early for dinner and wanted a few drinks beforehand. We saw this place had Happy Hour and it didn't disappoint. Beer, wine and cocktail specials from 4-7pm. It's very relaxed inside and wasn't crowded at all. I can picture this spot getting lively on the weekends. The bartender was super friendly and made sure we were happy with our order. I got the Grand Street Martini which was their version of an extra dirty martini. It went down really smooth. During Happy Hour all specialty cocktails are $11 which is a great price. While we sat there, we were surrounded by the smell of hot dogs being cooked. We'll definitely be back to try the food. read more

Chill local pub. Good for grabbing a quick drink after work or watching sports (they have a lot of big TVs). Usually just a bartender or two on service so you order both food and drinks at the bar. They have decent beers on tap and they come properly poured. Cocktails are basic. They serve "gourmet" (I'd say unique and/or loaded) hot dogs and a few other fried food items which pair well with beer. read more

I'm really happy this has made it's way to the neighborhood! It's nice to have a local place to grab a bite and drink with great and friendly service. Lexington publick offers beer, wine and cocktails. It's a cozy atmosphere with bar seating and tables. (There's outdoor seating as well!) They also have multiple TVs to watch games and Tuesday night trivia. Although they have an extensive hot-dog Menu, their hot Buffalo wings with ranch are my favorite. They come extra saucy and delicious. Over the times I've come here I've had beers and wine on draft as well as a few of their cocktails. I wish they would rotate some of their draft beers a little more but I still enjoy what they have! If you're looking for a good espresso martini, I recommend the Carnegie Chill! Definitely stop in for a nice place to grab a drink. read more

We came here on a Saturday night for drag bingo with Phoebe and had a blast. For each bingo round you have to buy new boards for one dollar, but we didn't mind because throughout the night they were giving out many many free shots and baked goods from phoebe. Can't wait to come back! read more

Staff and ambiance are great. The food menu needs a massive upgrade. It's basically hot dogs with various options. Nice size bar a tons of TV's. Just too bad there's literally no bar food. It's just hard to imagine a bar so empty on a Sunday with all three NY NFL teams were playing... and a Yankees game! I look forward to sending a new review if the owners sort out a proper menu. I think there's great potential here with some tweaks. If it remains a hot dog bar, my prediction for their success isn't great. To that point, I watched at least six people look and the menu and continue onward. I really hope they are successful and these are perhaps opening jitters. read more

I have been coming here for the last month and every experience I have had has been wonderful. The staff is knowledgeable and best of all they are friendly. I have had a conversation with every bartender that has worked and each of them are fun, exciting, and a good time. Even though this bar is new I can definitely see it being a hot spot in the future. It has outdoor seating, multiple TVs, and best of all they provide complimentary chips while you enjoy your time. This place is awesome. It's run by the guys who own Third Ave Ale house, and it's got the same kind of vibe of being a really nice sports bar. The beer selection is great, focusing mostly on the best NYC/greater NYC breweries. The also have draft wine and a great cocktail menu for a sports bar. The wings are amazing. And the hot dogs, OH the hot dogs. To call them hot dogs doesn't seem right because they go above and beyond. I had one that was a chorizo sausage with pineapple and pickled red onions, and another one that was a duck sausage with sautéed onions, bacon, and the best blue cheese crumbles I've ever had. Both were so freaking good. I'd love to see a bigger food menu like maybe a burger and some nachos (and ideally the tornado tots from 3rd Ave), but I will gladly be going back for the wings and dogs. All in all a great spot that I look forward to enjoying during the winter and beyond. read more
