We went for brunch on a Saturday. It is located on the 2nd floor of the Edition hotel. The interior is lovely with high ceilings, interesting photos, a fireplace, and gorgeous hardware on the doors. If you're looking for a quiet space to hang out and talk with friends, this is it. The restaurant consists of several rooms including a bar and a room with a pool table. On our visit there were only one or two other tables taken. The service was very good and we all enjoyed our meals. The breakfasts come with a side salad full of leafy greens and herbs. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were large and crisp. The potatoes that came with the egg dishes were delicious with the perfect amount of salt.

This place was so good the first time I was here I had to return. Their beef Wellington is now "advertised" as Beef Wellington for 2, no longer a single portion. While I want to try something new here the Wellington is just too good to not get. This restaurant is very expensive so it is definitely a special occasion type of restaurant. Service is excellent! You will not be disappointed when dining here as this is one of my favorite restaurants in Manhattan.

Let me start by saying that it is beautiful inside. The dark wood and photos are reminiscent of an old school NY steakhouse. The bar was also stunning but closed. I have been wanting to do Sunday brunch for full English breakfast for quite some time. The food was fine and so were the drinks. Service was good. I was expecting it to be a vibe being in the Edition but it just wasn't. We were one of only like 3 tables there. Probably don't need to return.

This is the second time we've been to Clocktower and it's easily one of our favorite meals in the city! It's pricey but perfect for a special occasion meal as the service is top notch. We made a reservation for 8pm on a Saturday and it was busy since they seemed to have a few private events going on. We sat in a different dining room than last time which was louder than I remember. Our server was excellent. We ordered the beef Wellington for 2 for $128 and two glasses of red wine. Glasses of wine range between $23-31. Our server was transparent and let us know the Wellington takes 45-55 min to cook. It only ended up taking about 30 min to arrive and it was worth the wait. The beef is so tender and the mashed potatoes were buttery and smooth. It was a little salty for my liking but thankfully the servers were constantly refilling my water glass. They even gave us complimentary champagne at the end of our meal and a card on our table since we were celebrating our anniversary. Overall, another incredible meal!

This place is ok in terms of decor and location. The food is average and the service leaves room for improvement. We had a reservation for 7:30PM and we arrived promptly. We were not seated until 7:45PM. The restaurant itself is pretty small, one room for the dining tables and another room for the bar, plus a small room with a pool table. They are having restaurant week but did not give us the restaurant week menu so I had to ask for it. I'm a vegetarian and the vegetarian options are limited in entrees down to a pasta dish or a risotto dish featured for restaurant week. I didn't see any vegan options. The cocktail menu is small but I ordered a Ritual. It was good. I opted not to do the restaurant week menu because I didn't want risotto. I had the agnolotti from the regular menu which was pretty good. The other members in my party were lukewarm on the food. Two members ordered steak cooked different ways but when their steaks come out, they were cooked pretty much the same. They give you free bread to start and that was actually very good with salt butter. If you wanted more, there was a $5 up charge. We each had dessert. I had a salted caramel custard bar, everyone else had the restaurant week desserts including the ice cream and the panna cotta. I think we all enjoyed the dessert but it was not anything groundbreaking. They have an abundance of waitstaff and they cleared plates pretty quickly, even before we were done with them for the bread. We had to ask the server to bring us new plates for the second bread course. There are two bathrooms located in the restaurant. The space is accessible by elevator. You have to enter on the 24th Street side and use the elevator bank to go to the restaurant. The door staff on the ground floor of the hotel were very nice. The hotel bar in the lobby seems nice too. The food is not cheap but the value and quality is just not there. You can have better food for the same price in other restaurants in midtown. Each course took a while to come out too. We were there over two hours with most of it spent waiting on food. Overall a pretty average experience. I don't think I'd come back for dinner, but I'd consider coming to the bar for a drink. The bar area doesn't have many seats other than a few at the bar itself.

We had a wonderful experience for my husband's birthday! From the moment we walked in, they made sure to make him feel special. All our food and drinks were delicious, and in an intimate room that left us feeling pampered.

Ambiance is impeccable. The cool design, color palette, photographs, pool table are all aspirational on so many levels. When we came it was quiet since it was towards the end of brunch. But it was just right - we had a great conversation and shared good food. Scottish egg..recommend! Fish and chips..proper and good! We wanted a mid day bite and that's what we got. The sauce for the fish and chips was unexpected..it was a sort of Indian fusion. The servers were prompt, nothing good or bad to say other than we got our food in a good time frame. I loved dining here. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes. And I'd imagine dinner here is stellar too.

Clocktower is located on the second floor, right above a bar. It was surprising that they were not booked out for a friday night. The decor was nice, it was dark but kinda of fit in with the whole vibe. We were seated right away and service was great. Only complaint was that I waited a really long time for my first cocktail. The complimentary bread and butter was pretty nice. We started with the tuna tartare, the spicy mayo was very unique in terms that I have never had this combination at other places. But my boyfriend and I both agreed that we had wish there were some sort of cracker or chips with it. The seared scallops were perfectly done, the grapes added a little sweet ting to the whole dish. And the cauliflower puree was exceptional. We ended with the beef wellington and I had to say was a great way to end the night. The mashed potatoes was really good. The greens were cut in different proportions which was kind of annoying. The wellington itself was kinda salty but because it was good overall I didn't take any points off.

Disclaimer: if I was judging just the complimentary bread and butter, it would be 5/5. We had like 3 loaves of that with the salted butter, and it is one of the best bread and butter I've had ever. However, the beef Wellington was a bit of a let-down. The beef in the Wellington was of good quality. However, I wish the mushroom duxelles were a bit more flavourful and the pastry felt undercooked and overly thick. The fish in the tomato broth was quite good, the broth was creamy and tangy. I was not a huge fan of the desserts, in particular the sticky toffee pudding. The sticky toffee pudding was a hard sticky, like biting into caramel. I was expecting and would much prefer the moist toffee cake. The flavors of the desserts were good and very creative, and the presentation was great however. The service was super good and attentive especially with my obscene bread and butter requests. And the ambiance was super classy, especially with the beautiful staircase. Overall, for the pretty hefty price, I would not come back (well maybe I would just for the bread and butter).

Loved this hotel bar (and I wasn't even staying here). Really cute decor and the drinks are delicious. The staff was super attentive and there were plenty of open seats on a Saturday night.

The Edition's Clocktower possesses an ambiance difficult to come by in the day to day. As if taking a step through a Time Machine, the timeless masterpiece of scrumptious delicacy and taste is a dim-lit, mystical, and calming space for all whom stop by. Such a classic and tasteful setting, yet with a modern twist, and talented chefs and hard-working connoisseurs alike of industry professionals, brings one to sanctuary close to that of NYC paradise. Cheers.

We visited on a Friday night with a last-minute booking. We arrived early and grabbed a drink at the bar before being seated. There's also a pool area, which adds a nice, friendly touch to the venue. I found out they used to have a Michelin star but lost it in 2022--makes me wonder why. The restaurant is located on the second floor, though I had expected it to be inside the clocktower itself! We were welcomed with some bread and butter to start. For our meal, we ordered the tuna tartare, fish and chips, beef Wellington for 2, and panna cotta for dessert. The beef Wellington was definitely the highlight--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. However, we felt the plating of the tuna tartare could have been better. The panna cotta was a great way to end the meal, with the raspberry sorbet adding a refreshing tartness to balance the sweetness. The service was on the slower side, but I got the sense they wanted us to relax and take our time, so it worked out fine for a leisurely evening.

We're big fans of Dame, but were so disappointed by Crevette. It's good to know the food shines here. Our favorite dish was the Peekytoe Crab and Uni toast. Hopefully we can get reservations for inside so we don't have the cigarette ash problem.

(Word to the wise: Do not simply drop in, as the place is usually packed with customers who made reservations beforehand, so make sure to book your table online.) The food is always superb, just the kind of comfort food that I gravitate to whenever I visit England, and the cozy, intimate vibe of the place reminds me of what it feels like to be human after enduring ongoing dialysis three times per week for the past six years. The staff is always courteous and friendly -- special shout-out to the most excellent Molly -- and the restaurant's proprietor is quite a character who clearly gives a damn about the quality of the restaurant's every aspect. I have tried many of the items on the menu, but my go-to repasts include the Full Monty (the full English breakfast ), sausage rolls , and the bangers (sausages), bacon, and beans plate with an excellent multigrain toast. The skewers were herbaceous and light. The green sauce was super flavorful - especially when dipped into by that sourdough. For my main I ordered the Fish & Chips (of course). Were they extremely good? YES. Were they the best Fish & Chips I've ever eaten? No, however this accolade belongs to an actual Chippy I ate at in the UK. As far as 'restaurant' Fish & Chips go however - these are the probably the best I've eaten. The fish was expertly fried and super crispy. The chips were thick cut and well-salted.
