We had a lovely meal here - beautiful setting and a well curated menu. We started with the burratta and it was extremely flavorful, the bread served with it was great. We then shared the cauliflower, carrots with feta and some fries. I felt the cauliflower could be cooked better but the carrots more than made up for it, and the fries were cooked perfectly. The star of the show was the lavender panna cotta with pistachios and a cherry compote. This was one of the best desserts I've had!

I came here for a casual dinner after having been recommended this place from friends as a great farm to table restaurant. The vibe was relaxed yet elegant, with a blend of families and couples on dates. The windows allowed a lot of natural light while the table lamps were tall, skinny and provided just enough extra light to brighten our food. The servers were all friendly and made sure to clear our plates between courses. The only time it felt they forgot about our table was when we finished our main course and were waiting for the dessert menu. We had the gem salad start, pork loin main, the corn esquites and the snow pea shareables. My favourite was the corn with the deliciously spiced aoili dressing. The salad was also perfectly sauced without any excess sauce pooling in the plate. The snow peas had a good flavour as well; i would enjoy ordering them again. The pork loin tasted a little bland, and it was a bit too chewy for my liking. Overall, we had a great experience and look forward to coming back for their changing menu.

Had a great group meal at Market Table! The seasonal menu had a number of hearty dishes fit for autumn -- we tried the grilled swordfish, the pan crisped half chicken, and the pork loin. Each was unique and thoughtfully prepared. The menu did give a "try hard" vibe. No one dish blew me away, but the meat and fish were all cooked to the right temperature, and flavors were good overall. The service was also excellent, with servers who were thoughtful about checking in periodically, going above and beyond to accommodate a tree nut allergy for one person in our group. Solid option if you're looking for upscale American fare in West Village!

My husband and I were on our way to dinner and wanted to grab a drink beforehand. We walked by this adorable place and I made him turn around and so glad I did. It was happy hour, for the win, had delicious margaritas and ordered the guacamole with house made chips. As a bonus they brought out Parmesan popcorn, that lasted all but two seconds. If in the neighborhood drop by this cute place and so beautifully decorated inside.

I called Market Table ahead of time to confirm there were gluten-free options and was told the menu could be easily adjusted, which was helpful. The food was fresh and seasonal. We had the halibut and steak with a side of fries, and the ceviche as a starter. The ceviche was the highlight -- very fresh and nicely balanced. We loved sitting inside where there was a lot of light by the window. This would have been a 5 star review except when our leftovers were packed, the gluten-free and gluten-containing items were boxed together. That meant the person in our group with celiac couldn't eat their leftovers due to cross-contamination. A bit of a letdown after an otherwise solid meal. Would consider returning, but would be more specific next time about handling food separately for dietary needs

Pleasantly surprised by my dinner dining experience for two at Market Table yesterday, which most likely explains why this West Village restaurant has been around for over a decade: seasonal menu, decor, ambiance, service and price point add up to five stars. Nothing fancy but much more than ordinary.

Really loved their cocktails here. We went to a different bar prior to checking Market Table out and I wished we came here first. The drinks are amazing! We ordered apps to nibble on which were just OK.

It was so great. We arrived hungry and Market Table did not disappoint. We got the Burrata cheese with grilled toast, beet tartare, and some roasted cauliflower for appetizers - and everything was DELICIOUS. So were the cocktails--all three of them (we got the Garden Party, the Jungle Cat, and a Lavender Fizz)! We all got fish for entrees (Halibut and garlic-crusted cod), and a side of roasted baby carrots - they were fantastic. Of course we got dessert, too (chocolate cake, cheesecake, berry tart...). The service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Highly recommend that you eat there the next time you're in NYC.

Stopped by for brunch with some girlfriends on a Sunday, made a resy but saw people walk in without one and be seated. Nomz: Had the smoked Gouda bacon cheeseburger and it was a big one haha menu didn't mention it but it was double meat and came with a healthy portion of fries. It was pretty tall, so hard to get a good bite in but was flavorful. Drinks: Went with a bubbly rose, not too fruity, on the drier side. Service: Was phenomenal, Sam was our server and he was super genuine and nice and nailed the right amount of checking in on us. Ambiance: Seems like a great spot for families, we were in the outside heated tent and it was quiet, too quiet for what we were looking for. Inside seemed a little more lively and had some music on. Nope or Dope: Nope for me, personally the vibes were not what I was looking for in a brunch place and food wasn't out of this world to come back otherwise.

Lovely spot in the heart of the West Village. We were able to get a table with no wait despite the busy Easter weekend. Francis was a courteous and knowledgeable waiter. As a meat eater, I was pleasantly surprised by the beet tartar and the hummus appetizers. The crab Benedict was tasty, but would not be filling on its own. The carmine 54 was so tasty I had to get it twice. The cherry on top? Amazing ppl watch as you dine outside.

I went to this restaurant for some lunch and a couple of cocktails. When I arrived, I had to circle the block a few times to find parking. I found parking about 10 minutes away. I walked into a cute restaurant. I was sat by the manager and Luis was my server, and he was good. I ordered from the lunch menu, the pumpkin gnocchi, and the Nashville chicken sandwich. For my cocktails, I got the espresso martini, which was really good, and the lemon drop martini, which was ok. The food came out, and I enjoyed the gnocchi. It was different as far as flavor but good. The Nashville chicken sandwich was good, just a little sticky. I definitely had a good experience!

Great food and great service for a Sunday brunch! The indoor space is on the smaller side, but they do have outdoor seating as well. We ordered coffees and a variety of items for the table: spicy grilled gulf shrimp tacos, chicken & scallion waffle, Turkish eggs, Jonah Crab Eggs Benedict, mushroom toast, and fries. The food came out fairly quickly, which we appreciated. Everything tasted delicious and also felt healthier and lighter (which is great) compared to a lot of other classic American brunches. I saw that this restaurant is part of a restaurant group with other spots in the area, like Little Owl and the Mary Lane - can't wait to check those out next time!

First time at Market Table, and I enjoyed the food. I ordered my burger medium, and the flavor was their. The bun could have been toasted more, so not to be soggy as you continue to eat it. Fries were very good. My girl only enjoyed the biscuit and the salad from her breakfast. I tasted the biscuit, and it was good, and I'm not a biscuit eater, really. She also felt a lack of attentiveness to our table. However, it seemed to be not to just us from her observation. They were busy on an early Sunday mid-day. She also felt we shouldn't have to ask for condiments. However, our server was pleasant, and the atmosphere was cool.

Our friends raved about this place and we of course were excited (and a bit skeptical at first) to try it. The concept: no menu + no lights + a few questions = the ultimate cocktail experience. The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip. Serious attitude here. The cocktails were very tasty but the service and vibe were so off-putting,…read moreI will never go back. I made a reservation in person more than 24 hours in advance. I wanted to treat an old friend to a quick birthday toast before a show she was attending nearby. Later that night, another friend became available to join but, because they do not actually have a phone that takes calls (only offers an announcement to go to Resy or email) adding another person was not at all easy. I would have had to cancel and rebook and wasn't sure I'd be able to (reservation was for a Saturday night) In most places, a table for 3 easily accommodates 4. But not here. When two of us arrived, they made it clear this was a big problem. I would have walked out right then but I would have been charged $90! We decided to stay and make the best of it, which was a challenge. For a speakeasy, the vibe was aggressive, not relaxing. Very loud music and not great acoustics.) Too cramped to be comfortable, proving that small does not necessarily mean cozy! We asked if we could take a chair from the table next to us, which was empty (it was only 6 pm; I told our server we'd be gone by 7 because my friend, the birthday girl, had to catch a show.) We were told No! To say the waiter was cold, unfriendly, and indifferent is generous. He was totally rude. He literally told my friend she couldn't sit in a chair that was otherwise empty, knowing we'd be leaving momentarily. Then he had the gail to hand me the bill with a 22% tip pre-selected...and watched over me while I signed it! Definitely the least satisfying $100 I have ever spent. Disappointing. It was good to see my friends, but I so wish I hadn't picked this place. Never again.
