Thank you to the bartender Alyssa who was holding down the bar alone tonight. She made sure my table was serviced well and kept us stocked with popcorn! Drinks came out fast and this was a great place for good tunes.

Upper East's relaxed and full of energy bar ideal for group gatherings as they have lots of booths and big tables but also cozy enough for a date night. They host live music performances, markets, trivia nights, and so much more (check their Instagram). Plus, kudos for creating a safe space in the bar (bathroom sign). I went for the Oscars Viewing Party but ended up early so I got to enjoy Kacie Sky's performance. P.S their Happy Hour runs from 4-7pm during weekdays! Also you can bring your own food!!!

Wandered in here with my wife on a Friday night. They had a wide array of cocktails, beers, and seltzers at a fair price. The vibes were immaculate. The TVs really had something for everyone: sports, Rick and Morty, and full house. The music was special, tons of 90s throwbacks. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. They even have a photobooth! Can't wait to come back. Oh yeah and BYOF(OOD)!!

This is such a fun spot and my new favorite dive bar. I came here on a Friday night and my friend and I were able to get seats at the bar. The prices are reasonable and they give you popcorn to enjoy too! I love that they were playing Disney Channel here, such nostalgia!

Super fun bar with great music and decoration! The bartenders are very nice, their drinks are delicious, strong and not too expensive. I also love that they have games, free popcorn and allow you to bring your own food. It is always my go-to place when I want to have a good time with friends or just play domino over a drink with my husband. :)

My favorite spot to celebrate NYE. The perfect mix of throwback music and recent hits keeps the energy high way past midnight.

Stopped by for happy hour on a Wednesday! Windows were open so great breeze was coming through. Got some drinks before heading to a concert.

My favorites are still on the menu, but I know a crowd one (Pika Pika) was lost. One I saw there was no crowd (on a Sunday night ~8PM) + they started playing "First Love" by Hikaru Utada, I knew it was gonna be a good night. The place did fill up starting at 9:30PM until almost closing at 11:30PM. *recommended What we ordered: - Agumon (Hojicha version): not quite an espresso martini, but similar vibe with slight sweetness, nuttiness (according to my other friend) + the orange garnish gave great balance - Agumon (off-menu matcha version): the matcha's astringency added more acidity + with no garnish the whiskey was much more prominent - Tokyo Banana*: genuinely tastes like banana + not in the artificial banana milk way - Yurie*: refreshing balance of sweet + sour - Strawberry Daifuku*: love a sweet drink, misleading name tho (only strawberry in the daifuku garnish) - Mala Fries: super crispy + not overly spicy, pricey for fries tho

Fans of game of thrones, boy oh boy do they have a treat for you! A throne toliet, geeze I wish I had to poop at that point, lol. I went to the second bano to see what it was, I was not disappointed. I thought it was just one a one off thing, but it turns out their burger is insanely salty too. It seems like they pre-salt their burger patties since the texture is kind of gummy? The alternative is to salt the patties during cooking to retain the structure and feel of a beef patty. The overall meal was a disappointment. I'll have to try it again the future. Maybe theres a different cook in the back. For the value of $18, it's not bad, but not great on the tastebuds.

Love the bar stools at this place tho, they have backs and the chair is cushioned! I appreciate a good back to a barstool. I ended up coming a few days later and the vibe was much better. The bartenders must have just been tired from their previous shift that one Thursday. They were really great on a Saturday. The happy hour is pretty nice $5 for shot and $10 for a marg. ::bathroom alert::: Very inconvenient when you're at the bar. It's like a maze getting down there. The bathroom is clear tho, I'll give them that. They were playing live music for like 90 minutes. There was literally no one at this bar on a Thursday night, so much for thirsty Thursday. Theres a section off to the left that has a pool table and connect four. On a Saturday night they are playing Spanish music, most people know Spanish music and drinking is super fun!! I can totally see why this place doesn't have a lot of pictures. I don't see how a lot of people wouldn't it is cozy. At the end of the day this places prices are reasonable for this area. They get the five stars because the music was good and the prices were good. $7 for an ipa isn't so bad.

They have some really standout dishes: chicken Khao soi and the Karee Pu noodles being the two that blow me away each time I have them. They have impeccable flavor, deep richness to the curry, and are consistent. However many other dishes and generally just "ok." I am happy to see that they've added vegetarian Khao soi and an entire vegetarian menu, though I haven't had a chance to try them yet! I'd recommend this restaurant for the wonderful ambiance, friendly service, and to enjoy one of their "key" dishes (others are just "meh"). Soothr would be fab for a big group dinner out, catching up with friends, or a fun date. It can get a little loud, so I wouldn't recommend for more intimate or serious occasions. A bit pricey too, but the whole ambiance elevates it to where it's worth it, in my opinion.
