I have received an initial text from someone who signs it "Nick T". My bike has a broken front fork which needs to be replaced. Since then, I've been texting this guy in good faith and trying to accommodate his time frame, and his (in)ability to find a replacement fork. I've done everything he's asked of me, but I have received nothing but words on a text from him. he can't find a decent replacement for work??? Apparently he's in the wrong business! What a runaround sham. Do not waste your time! Do not expect service or consideration! There are a lot of other vendors, who are willing and able to do repairs, and or sell you a good bike. The owner of this bike shop is a disgusting piece of a human being--a vile excuse for a business owner. He is deceitful, unprofessional, and completely lacking in integrity. Over the phone, he quoted one price for assembling a bike, but when I arrived to pick up my bike, he suddenly demanded more--an obvious bait-and-switch tactic. He and his inexperienced teenage staff also attempted to withhold or swap out parts that rightfully belonged to me, simply because the bike wasn't purchased from his store. He even had the audacity to think I wouldn't notice the difference--trying to pass off cheap, generic parts in place of the originals. When I confronted him and said I would call the police for stealing my parts, he exploded in anger, yelling at me and calling me "cheap" and "crazy" in a hostile, unhinged manner. I paid this man for a service he and his employees failed to perform correctly, and instead of owning up to his dishonesty, he doubled down with disrespect and aggression. The first order arrived with her initials wrong and all numbers and patches missing from both the game jerseys and practice jerseys. After sending everything back, the second attempt was just as bad. The numbers were wrinkled, bubbled, and unevenly pressed across multiple jerseys. The warm up jacket had the correct initials but they were off center and crooked. At this point my daughter still does not have a playable uniform for her game tomorrow. She is 12 years old and should not have to feel singled out or embarrassed because a company cannot do its job. This is not just an inconvenience. It is affecting kids who want nothing more than to feel part of their team. We have wasted time, money, and energy sending uniforms back and forth and all we have to show for it are defective products. Any company that provides team uniforms should understand the responsibility they have to get it right the first time. This one clearly does not. We asked if we were able to get an exchange because the sizing is drastically smaller than last season and we ordered the same sizing. We don't think it's fair that we have to spend another $100 on top of all that we've spent. The woman who helped was not accommodating at all she just kept repeating all they could offer was 20% off and that in reality "they didn't even have to do that". She had zero empathy did not care that we've been loyal customers. She was very off-putting. There is a reason they have 1.9 stars.
