They spot tuckpointed the sides, back, foundation of my home, they also removed and replaced all of my window sill morter at all of my windows. They removed and replaced all of the perimeter bricks from my front porch, they also removed all of the loose, chipped, damaged concrete on my front porch and resurfaced the whole porch with 2" of concrete and restructured my front steps leading to the porch. They did an excellent job in a timely professional manner. Their pricing was second to none. I called other companies and no one could compare to them with pricing. This small company was a nightmare to work with. The owner, and the only person i met face to…read moreface, was the reason. They took cash as a 50% deposit before they would order the materials. But they couldn't give me a receipt as they were in a "new office". So I had a hand written receipt that i wrote out, as i didn't trust giving cash with a promise of an emailed receipt. The emailed receipt still hadn't arrived by Monday. I asked for a copy of the material order to be emailled. They couldn't provide that and never did. I then tried to cancel everything and he refused to send me a check and wanted to discount his expenses for his time and costs. and have me come to him as he wasn't going to mail it. I felt bullied by him. Not wanting to risk losing my money, I apologized for not trusting him, and we agreed to proceed. Materials were delivered on time. Start date was moved back. Twice. Next start date was set for Columbus day and the only person who showed up was a drone person and he asked if the job was completed to my satisfaction. (There was zero work started and four crates of materials sitting on the sidewalk.) This person was oblivious to his surroundings. Thank God we had Mexicans show up the next day to do the real work. They did most of it but left trash, limbs and 8 inch ruts in the yard where the trailer was. What they didn't leave was about a third of the over bought shingles. Not a single piece was left behind to patch something in the future. They also didn't touch an overhang after one of the crew fell through it. It needed to be replaced. SG asked me if I knew a carpenter who could fix it? Huh? He later wrote me an estimate that involved $600 in shingles. The same shingles that I had already paid for. No thanks. It then took him a week and several excuses before the three bundles of shingles that I had paid for were delivered to me for someone else to repair the overhang. Don't ever pay anyone in cash. Don't ever pay everything until the job is completed. There are companies out there that will do that.

January 13th 2026 David Keller showed up soliciting at our gate, I guess he had some left over…read morematerials from another job site that he was trying to sell off so he gave my neighbor and I a good deal on the crushed asphalt. He laid most of it and next day came back to finish the job. As my driveway was mostly sugar sand and we have a bit of a hill on it, I asked him TWICE whether we needed to do any drainage (since we didn't even do any base or rocks before laying the asphalt) He assured me it would be fine, that I "just needed to drive on it to compact it". Sure enough, 3 weeks later the first heavy rain eroded the driveway creating huge ruts on the crushed asphalt. When I called David to ask him to come back so he could assess the damage and we could come up with a plan he said he'd come by "next Friday or Saturday" and has been ghosting me since. So much for the "deal", lesson learned I suppose!

I was a little apprehensive about using KCB because their quote was quite a bit lower than the…read moreother ones I got and the price seemed almost too good to be true. After seeing all the positive reviews, we decided to still go with them and I'm glad we did! Quality workmanship, professional and courteous crew, work completed in the estimated time, took extra care to minimize dust, cleaned up after themselves daily. We had tuckpointing done on both our bricks and the larger masonry stones around the foundation, with 2 sides of the house needing solid tuckpointing and the other 2 needing spot tuckpointing. We also had KCB do new waterproofing/sealant around the expansion joints, had the wall to the walkout basement stairwell demolished and restacked, and had the deteriorating concrete slab under the sunroom replaced. The crew did a great job on all of it and KCB was even able to set up the supports to the sunroom while they worked so that I didn't have to hire a second company to do that portion. Very happy with all the work done and the price was outstanding. Will be using KCB again for any future tuckpointing needs.

I needed the work done pretty much immediately to satisfy the buyer on the home I am selling with closing coming up in a week. Nick was up front and told me he wasn't sure if they would be able to get it finished in time. That is the only reason I didn't move forward with using them. I would not hesitate to call them in the future about future roofing needs.

Unfortunately when it came time to make some changes and finalize the plans we were completely ghosted. It wasn't. * Completed steps are uneven and slope * Concrete not raised and leveled as it was discussed to be * Edges curve and I now have less patio than before/ pergola no longer fits * Side of patio was not smoothed out * Ruts left allover in yard * Cigarette butts left in yard after every visit * Plywood left behind * Children were brought to work and install the patio with the 2 man crew * Crew invited neighbors walking down the street to see the jobsite while in progress * Chemicals were dumped in my yard where my children play Due to already taking off work multiple days that the concrete pour was supposed to happen but kept getting pushed back with very little communication, I was not able to be off AGAIN on the day it was being poured. Jerry assured he typically does jobs while homeowners were not home so this would not be an issue. When I called Jerry to make sure the crew understood what needed to be done, he didn't answer as he was busy at another job site. He only responded when I texted asking if there should have been children brought to the jobsite to which he responded that he didn't care how the job was done as long as it was done right. Once I saw on my ring camera that the crew was inviting a neighbor walking down the street with her young children, to come to my backyard to watch, I immediately had to leave work as I didn't feel comfortable with the trespassing and even more children being on an active jobsite. Jerry came back and inspected the work days later and acknowledgement what a poor job they did and how hard it is to find good help (again) yet changed his tone completely via text being careful not to admit to any faulty work. He takes zero responsibility and blames the poor workmanship and overall bad experience on everyone but his company. Jerry also tried to blame it on an issue discovered with the garage upon patio tear out. The issue with the garage is separate from the patio and it's being addressed by a different company and does not interfere with the patio at all. This patio is going to be a complete tear out and redo and Jerry is refusing to refund the half we have paid. The pictures speak for themselves.

Gerry kept me apprised as to the steps, first with the date the equipment will be delivered, and the work to start the next day. He also power-washed and resealed my back patio and my front porch. The driveway was completed in one day, on a Thursday, and they came back on Friday to pull out the 2 x 4's, clean up the dirt, etc. Gerry told me he would do my patios the following Monday. Again, they were here bright and early. They did great work! All of the jobs turned out really nice and we couldn't be happier. And the best thing of all is the guys he has working for him. EVERY SINGLE one of them is very personable, friendly, and eager to answer any questions you may have. They all had great personalities, and I truly enjoyed working with all of them. Adam and Lance did my patios. They were FANTASTIC! Gerry is very particular in the workmanship his team provides. The job was complete on Friday, and he came back by himself twice after it was completed, the second time being the following Tuesday, to check out all the work, and to ensure it was completed to his satisfaction. Also, I failed to mention, my patio and front porch were both sealed with a colored sealer. The sealer restored the original look of the patios, and they look brand new again. The clean up after the job was perfect. Where they had gotten dust and dirt in the street in front of my house, they hosed it all down. These guys know what they're doing, and are professional.
